Been coming here since they opened and have noticed a huge decline in service and food quality. We started with some onion rings and we are very glad we did. They were nothing amazing but we were starving. We ordered our food at 5:40 pm and the onion rings came out in about 10 minutes. I ordered the fish and chips and the other meal was supposed to be pork tacos. 35 minutes pass and we finally flag down a random server because ours never came back to our table finally the fish and chips show up but not the tacos. The fish was horrible mostly breading with no seasoning (not even salt), fries were cooked well but were missing seasoning as well, the coleslaw was literally just mayo and cabbage. Another 10 minutes pass and they bring out some kind of pork salad thing so we sent it back to get the correct food. 20 more minutes go by and the "tacos" finally show up and somehow were cold and soggy. So after being shut down for a while for a "to the foundation" kitchen remodel, I figured EPIC was going to do a big menu update with a bunch of new cool stuff. Chance to start fresh right? Well, sorta. They did add some cool new stuff, so props for that. And the service has kicked it way up since they reopened. Great folks serving. But there is still work to do. They have new plates. And they should have picked different new plates. Got a side salad and it was pretty generous. But the design of the plate has stuff falling off if you look at the plate wrong. It basically looks like the lid to something flipped over for a plate. Salad plates normally have a little room on the sides so stuff doesn't fall all over your table when you eat it. I am guessing someone thought this design looked cool without thinking about functionality. So another typical Northern Quest eating venue gaffe. They have Cubano sammiches now. Excellent! Cubanos are one of my favorite things. Except they massively overcooked it, making the bread too hard and drying out what probably would have been a great sandwich. Also, who the hell puts a Cubano in a panini press. Go see the world and find out how a proper Cubano is made ffs. I will say the onion rings at EPIC are a bajillion times better now. I feel like the food venue folks at Quest are starting to get a little more in tune with how food venues should be. Starting to. Still a lot of work to do. At least things are improving read more

This place is pretty darn good! A buddy and I had meetings here at the resort and this place caught our eye with big screens and lots of seating. The waitress and server was friendly and helpful. I've been a regular for about a year now, it's my go-to spot with friends. The best burger in town, as well as the best chicken sandwhich in town. Drinks sometimes can be iffy in taste if the bar is slammed- but other than that the waiters/waitresses are really friendly and always helpful. Fast with the check too! Only downside is that they took the old mac and cheese of the menu and added bbq chicken to it so it just tastes like you're eating bbq sauce now:/ The new quesadillas are pretty good though! It's time to update my previous remarks about Epic. They've always been pretty darn good to me (for me?), anyway, but I popped in for a solo visit recently. I asked for one of the quiet, back corner booths so I could hear myself think (well? IT IS A SPORTS BAR, lol) so be it. The food was well prepared, temperature appropriate, hearty portion and at a competitive price. But the highlight was the table service. While I confess to always expecting to be spoiled rotten ... like the Rolling Stones' song says "You can't always get what you want..." -- BUT ... in this case, TARA took care of the table. OMG, where to start??? She knew her menu, had great suggestions, and her outgoing personality and sincere smile made me feel like mine was the only table she had to deal with. Yes, I got that spoiled rotten feeling! Simply Outstanding! Now go to Epic and if fate smiles upon you, maybe Tara will get your table! My first time at the casino, which I ignored, first time at the restaurant, and first time at the BECU for a concert. First, and probably most importantly, this may be the only non-smoking restaurant/bar on site. Huge win! Therefore, there is no gambling machines.Lots of TV screens for mostly sports, good food, good service, good drinks. We stopped in for Dinner, having already perused the various menus online. Warning: the food is a LOT! I have a bird's belly, so I probably should have ordered an appetizer instead off the Philly. And ordered the side of au jus right off the bat. It helped the flavor immensely. I could not eat it all; in fact, I could eat only half. What a shame. My friend/daughter ordered the French Dip, which was surprisingly more flavorful. Probably the dip part helped. Drinks were fun. I had the Tropical Trash, which included an upside down can of Redbull in it. I'll tell ya, it kept me up until 2am. She had the Mudslide Milkshake, which of course yummy. Not enough chocolate, she said. We returned after the concert for drinks. She had the bottle of Angry Orchard, and I tried the other specialty: Bulldog Margarita. Which has the upside down Coronita in it, and it's served in a fishbowl. Epic? Nah. We could call this "OK Restaurant" By the time our server greeted us, we already knew what we wanted to eat because we had so much time to look at the menu. No waters came with our meal, just the soda and beer we ordered. Our appetizer was the pretzel, which is pretty cool because it came as a giant "e". We could really have used a couple of appetizer plates to handle the situation though. When we ordered he asked us what kind of fries we wanted without telling us there was an upcharge. I ended up getting onion rings and my dad ended up getting garlic fries, unknowingly adding $1.50 to each of our meals. Lastly, this is a little weird, but when we paid in cash We should have received $10.45 back but our server only brought back $10.00. We wanted to do something different and hadn't been to Epic in quite a few years. Unfortunately it's was pretty underwhelming. We waited about 5-10 minutes to get in even though 1/3 of the restaurant didn't have guests. I get it, probably not enough servers to handle a larger crowd. Unfortunately drinks were not refilled quickly (don't put so much ice in the glass), and the meal took a painfully long time to come out. Well over over 1/2 hour. My wife had a salad that she said was good. I had a burger off the special list that was just meh. The 'Epic Fries' that came with are plain old shoestring fries that didn't seem like any seasoning was added. We have been to EPIC several times this year. To preface this review, I would like to state that that the waitstaff is amazing. This review has to do with what goes on in THE KITCHEN. The breakdown: The French onion soup is not good. It's not THE WORST I've ever had but I did not enjoy it. It's very heavy on the onions and I guess I like a little more broth. Personal preference. On to the Mozzarella cheese sticks appetizer with marinara. This should be offensive to all cheese stick & marinara lovers since I've had better in bowling alleys. They were mildly warm and unseasoned for being $12 cheese sticks with a horrible tasting marinara. On to the Rockfish fish & chips for $19. It comes with slaw and well seasoned French fries. The fries were the star. This is not a great start. The fish batter was heavy like a thick, heavy, over greasy beer batter. Gooey in some parts . Overly greasy. Seasoning was missing. All we tasted was grease and batter. We had Tartar, lemon and malt vinegar on the side to cut through the grease but we struggled to get through ONE piece. The portions are generous. We had FOUR pieces each, which means we came home with 6 pieces of fish. We will try to resurrect them in the air fryer, get rid of the mushy batter in the process BUT we will not be back for this. Typical sports bar vibe. It was busy and a concert night so to be expected. Food was good but epically (see what I did there) slow service. We had poke appetizer, burrata peach appetizer. Poke was fresh and yummy. Burrata was totally melted. Kinda weird. Hubby's steak French dip was good and huge. My salad (fajita) was good. The steak was kinda tough but flavorful. Got the Top Golf suite for breakfast and I ordered egg benidict. I started eating it and the poached egg was cooked all the way through, but I had something crunchy in the bite too. There was an entire egg shell under the english muffin. I sent it back after that and couldn't get the gross taste of the eggs benedict and asked for just hashbrowns instead. The suite is also advertised to have a dedicated server, the main bartender that came into the suite 3 times in the 2 hours was that I guess not the best service. First at bat for Restaurant Week 2019 was a swinging strike out. Just to start, our server gal was great, so no issues there. It's been a few years since we've been on the NQ campus, and upgrades in parking/shopping/ease of access is noticeably cool, yet belies the dining experience encountered. EPIC's RW menu looked intriguing, and for the $21 per, seemed a safe choice. Well, our lunch did reinforce what a lot of Yelpers have stated about the food here. Basically, they give it a good try, but it all wound up being disappointingly below standard. First Course: Wife has a Mini Caprese Grilled Cheese, which in all honesty was a sandwich your kid would make with Wonder Bread, cut in half and then eat the other half just because he/she made it. I had their PB&J Wings; supposedly in a raspberry habanero sauce, sprinkled with 'peanut dust.' Basically three puny breaded wings, lacking any raspberry/habanero/peanut flavor on my palate. An obvious letdown. Main Entree': Wife tolerated her Philly Cheesesteak Enchilada meal. Indeed, I had a bite, and it was probably the highlight of the lunch, sadly. I ordered the EPIC Burger, which was purported to be a gruyere stuffed burger on foccacia. There was no discernible cheese in the burger that I tasted/saw, and it seemed like there could be soy based filler product in it. No beefy flavor, whatsoever, and pretty dry. I had to add tomatoes my daughter took off her pizza, and I'm glad she made them available. Dessert: Just look at my pictures, and realize that things in your rear view mirror are smaller than they seem. We all looked at each other and basically had, 'are you kidding me?' expressions on our faces. Periphery: Our daughter accompanied us, and went for their Margherita Pizza, rather than the RW prix fixe. It wasn't good. Rather disappointing for $16. While it did have fresh Mozz, there were some gigantic, canned (?) tomatoes on it, that basically made the inner part of the pie a mess of mush. Overly garlic-y, as well, which a Marg should not be. However, good things did come from this visit. Looking at prices on their regular menu upon arrival was a revelation in future fiscal restraint. And, we didn't go to Masselow's, which probably would have been an even more expensive disappointment. I'm gonna agree with another Yelper, when they stated it's really an over-hyped-priced diner with a big TV. I am going to give it a 4 because it's is pretty good and has a nice sports atmosphere. I originally went to lunch and ordered the Baja burger. I have to admit it looked good but I was disappointed the bottom bun was like a wet napkin. Just soggy and falling apart. Ended up eating it with a fork and knife because the bun fell apart. But the garlic fries were amazing. Fast forward and I go to dinner there and order the Buffalo wings and wow, amazing flavor and fried to perfection. Will not be returning I've given this place so many chances and they are the most inconsistent with quality in customer service and food. This last go around I ordered the epic pretzel which was the only good thing about the visit, boneless wings and fries, and the gut buster burger. The wings were nasty, the meat was chewy and had holes throughout it because of how fake the chicken was so I had to send that back, the burger was poor quality as well my boyfriend picked it apart and ate what he could tolerate. We also ordered 2 large beers, took about 15 minutes to get those and then we ordered another round when we ordered our main courses and never received the beer, the waiter didn't come by to check on us at all for about 20 minutes and didn't even bother to bring us our drinks so we told him to forget it at that point and we didn't get a sorry or anything. Shift managers never seem to give a crap about the poor service either so why would the wait staff or kitchen. Never coming back here, we will eat before we come to NQ from now on or just go to fat burger or qdoba. 2 stars is for the pretzel otherwise they'd be going back to 1 star. We should have known when we walked in and were seated right next to another table even though there were only 10 people in the whole restaurant. Our server took our drink order and when our 4th arrived she took the last order and never brought the beer. When we asked about it she told us it was coming and immediately went to chat with other employees. The drink never came. She also never took our order. 15 plus minutes later we asked if she could take our order. She snapped at us, begrudgingly took our order and when we walked out without getting our food she waved and said bye bye. Will NEVER go there again. I honestly want to give this place 3.5 because their wings are really delicious, everything else is good but not great. The best things I've had their are the spicy garlic wings and the French onion soup was actually some of the best I've had in Spokane, it beat the French onion at park lodge in my opinion. Good place for games, can get crowded and the service can be slow in those times. The top golf thing is alright but is kinda glitchy when doing any of the other games besides the golf. We really enjoyed our meals here. This was during Covid so we had to wear masks in as does everybody. The tables aren't really spaced for social distancing and they did seat a couple right next to us, which I found strange since the place was nearly empty at the time. There are TVs everywhere for watching sports. I had a prime rib dip sandwich was EXCELLENT! Great bread, prime rib was perfect and seasoned well, grilled onions and mushrooms, gruyere cheese and a horseradish aioli. The au jus was perfect too; beefy and not overly salted. I omitted the fries and upgraded to a Caesar Salad which was goof too. The wife had their Cod Fish and Chips with tater tots. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal. This resort is fairly expensive for everything we've discovered. The cost of our two meals plus two non-alcoholic beverages was $42. Add in a decent tip and you're well over half way to a Benjamin. But hey, it was cheaper than their steakhouse offerings of either a three or four course meal. Three course was $70 per person and Four course was $90! Let's just start off by saying that this place is an amazing venue to just watch a sports game, as they have huge TVs lining the walls. So if you are stuck in the casino with family and you're missing the big game, this place is for you! And they have excellent drinks if you just wanna grab a beer. That being said, the food that I had was just, okay. The menu had some promising options, but I received lower than what I expected. First thing I had was a Spicy Tuna appetizer that was on the three-course menu. The dish was very tasty, but the presentation of it was a bit wonky. They had the tuna on top of wonton chips to use so it can be handheld. But the chips were so thin that everything collapsed and I just ended up eating it all with a fork and breaking up the chips for crunch. Second, I had the Wagyu Meatloaf Melt, which sounded amazing! What I got was a mediocre sandwich which lost all sense of the Wagyu. I guess it was my fault in ordering Wagyu as a meatloaf, cause then it loses all its character as a premium meat. The sandwich was still good, but nothing special. And the ranch sauce that I got for the tater tots was bland. Lastly, I had the Chocolate Carrot Cake, which was also on the three-course menu. I was expecting this amazing chocolate version of a carrot cake, but got a chocolate cake with carrots on top. The carrots were doused in a super sweet liquid that was not good at all. I ended up just eating the ice cream that came with it. And the cake was cold! Why serve it with ice cream if it wasn't going to be a warm cake? Anyways, to summarize, the place is great for certain things, but if you are looking for good food, might as well just go to the food court. read more

We ordered our food and it was better than we expected it was going to be, definite 5 star. There was keno on the table and we called the number and they said they would be over but the never showed. I won't take point off Epic for that but just be aware. We ordered dessert but was disappointed the portion size was very small, a 3 star. Our service was top notch. Friendly and fast. It's a bit noisy but what can you expect from a bar in a casino right? Not a ton of seating so that's a bit deceiving as you walk in. We had a pizza, cheeseburger soup and the best mai tai I have had in a while. The soup was delicious and filling. Pro- got the big screens for any sport events you want to watch and they have a decent selection of beer. They have your typical drafts and a few others that they cycle through. Cons- food. I feel bad but I wasn't impressed at all. The chicken wings were over breaded/ barely warm and nothing special/ wouldn't order again (19 bucks for 12). I got the Cobb wedge which was pretty pathetic. It was basically a bunch of ice berg lettuce with minimal toppings- tomatoes, cubbed prepackaged chicken and some cheese. For 16 buck I would not recommend it. My husband got the crispy chicken sandwich with a side of tots for 17 bucks and he said it was average but nothing to brag about. The tots tasted like old oil that they fried the fish and chips in. Overall pretty bland, overpriced bar food. If you want a beer and a football game then it's a good spot. If you want good food then it's hard pass. Late 2020... Early 2021 I have not been to EPIC pre-covid, so I don't know how "packed" or unpacked they get. Are tables spaced out 6 feet apart? Not that I can tell. Are there and plexi glass or barriers separating people? No. Of the times that I've gone (about 5 out of 7), I had table seating on the outer edge of the restaurant. Not the main pit area. I mention this because I felt more "distant" from parties away from me while sitting at those tables. Maybe those other 2 times I was in the pit area,...maybe had people directly behind me. (Not a huge deal to me, I'm an essential worker, so I take pre caution) With all that said. The food, drinks, and big screen tv are AWESOME! Is it even possible for sports bars to have "fresh" fries? It for sure doesn't taste "previously frozen". The fries are GOOD! Sandwhiches are good. The French dip is so good! The spicy chicken sand has a kick to it. It's literally a huge chicken breast. (I have yet to eat more off the menu, but for sure French dip and spicy chicken can't go wrong) Wide variety of beers on tap. The wait for the food is definitely noticeable. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I know it might be for some ppl. And if your looking for a restaurant where you and the servers are gonna chat and be bffs by the time you leave, maybe go somewhere else. This place is more or less... here's your drink. My partner and I have been coming here for years, the food is delish but the service is CRAP. Every time we come we sit with empty drinks and search for the wait staff. This time was no different. Our food was cold and stale when we got it, my fries were in a chunk like the basket hadn't been shaken, a pool of grease was under my fries so about a third of them weren't edible. The waitress was MIA just about our whole meal. We had to go up to the bar or ask the host for refills. I literally sat with an empty glass for 20 minutes 2 times before I went up to the bar myself. We weren't checked on or asked how our meal was, it was honestly a terrible experience. Our cloth napkins even stunk. If the food wasn't so good we wouldn't be coming back.
