Super cool place to check out! My partner and I were in the area, and we went inside since we were curious. This place has a variety of imported snacks including chocolates, chips, and juices. It's fun looking at what they have. I was pleasantly surprised that they had mineral water which a decent mineral content. I've found mineral water with magnesium in it helps my workout recovery time, so I go through a lot of mineral water...but the average stuff in the supermarket doesn't have magnesium, so it can be hard to find. However, I found 2 different types that did! I will caution, mineral water does taste a bit salty, not like normal water. Things I wished they had: I do wish they carried some still (non-carbonated) mineral water with magnesium in it. I have yet to find some in Chicago, and would buy entire cases at a time if I could! Also Walkers has cheese & onion chips that are like crack but I have yet to find in Chicago. Same with any paprika chips without dairy At checkout, the samples were a nice touch! read more

It's quite a fun store with weird snacks and candies that have Asian/fun flavors. Also got a pretty neat anime souvenir/gear section too. Honestly, if you're nearby it's always fun to hang out and check out all the interesting flavors or even just play the two arcade games they have haha. This is a really cool place for avid and curious snackers. It has over four aisles worth of snacks, ranging from your typical U.S. snacks (just from a different country, which typically means less ingredients) to obscure, country-based snacks. Also, they offer room temp and cold drinks. My favorite part was on the receipt, it shows what country your snack is from - just make sure you receive it via text or email. This place just recently opened earlier this month and me and my pyrenees stumbled upon it a few days ago while on our little neighborhood walk. I actually came here just to browse and I was very impressed with the amount of unique and diverse Asian themed snack products and large selection of European chocolates. I wasn't craving sugar though. I was specifically seeking out Japan rice snack crackers and Wasabi peas; but there weren't any here on the shelves. I would love the owner to stock the shelves with rice crackers if possible and then you will have me here daily purchasing some. I did however find these very popular ramen noodle packages called Buldak. This particular ramen is packed with a super spicy seasoning packet and a cheese packet that you stir into the noodles once they're fully cooked. A huge warning though do not empty out the entire packet of spice because it's extra extra firey ‍ and I made the mistake of pouring in the entire spice packet and had to add water more parmesan cheese to the pot of ramen so my mouth wouldn't be on fire. This brand is extremely popular on tiktok and I will definitely be buying more soon! Katya was super helpful and sweet and paid a lot of attention to my pyrenees puppy during our visit. This places prices are ludicrous. If you want specialty Asian lays, go to Argyle or even H Mart to get them for 1/2 the price. ($6.99 here, $2.99 or $1.99 if it's on sale @ Asian grocery stores) If you want drinks? Same thing. They have a good selection but a bottle of Chinese Fanta is $9.99. They also don't list very many prices, so it's hard to know how much you'll pay at the register. They do have some snacks that are more reasonable, but they're mostly the middle eastern ones. The ambience is nice in this place. They have some seating and a couple vintage arcade games. They have some anime theme gifts. They were out of sailor moon key chains and that was what I was really interested in. I believe the owner was there and he was super friendly. He answered a lot of questions and gave us a free sample. It is a bit costly but, they have much more of a selection beyond the typical asian market or other specialty grocery store. read more
