Breadsticks are awesome 95% of the time...every once in a while they'll be overcooked, but they'll switch them out for you if you ask nice :) Great staff, many of them have been there for over year. Plenty of TVs on the wall, always showing whatever sports are on, and they are happy to change the channel one a TV if there is something you want to watch. I always get the single meal for less than $7 - it's 6 wings, celery, carrots, and 2 breadsticks which is enough to fill you up. Get the lemon pepper and dip it in the ranch. I came in here for my lunch break and didn't realize their was NO mild sauce on my "Chipotle MILD chicken" no biggie, people make mistakes. One of my favorite places to satisfy my buffalo wings cravings. I always go to that location because they have a few different beers, and it has HD TV's on the walls with different programming in them, it's always really clean and the breadsticks are fluffier than the ones at other locations. Since the introduced the boneless wings, I've been a fan, since you enjoy the chicken and the sauce a bit more, and it fills you up. The ranch is always enough for the wings and breadsticks to dip, but if you want some more they'll sell you some on the side that's probably too much and will end up throwing it away. Beer is always cold, but I never limit myself to ask for a frozen beer mug that automatically makes that meal a delight, even more in a hot San Diego day. We ordered a mild chicken strip double meal, and after taking a few bites my son complained it was too hot (spicy, not temperature hot!). So we notified the attendants and one excuse they gave us was that it depends on the heat and another one said that it depends on who makes it. We just wanted his strips replaced so he could eat it. But they proceeded to talk amongst themselves and then came back to us to ask for my sons plate so they can show the cook. We didn't have a problem giving back the strips to be replaced, it was simply how the situation was handled. Very unprofessional and as if we were trying to pull a "fast one" . The cashier already admitted fault and stated the sauces are never consistent on how spicy the "mild" sauce is, and based on that confession we shouldn't have been interrogated on 3 strips. I cannot even begin to describe how annoyed I am!! As soon as we ordered our food the cashier was extremely snooty and stand offish. Totally not the environment I want to be in. She impolitely told us we would have to wait 15-20 minutes for buffalo fries! There were only 4 other people in the restaurant. Why would it ever take that long to make buffalo fries?! I come here often, to this one specifically because it seems like they serve bigger portions here, and their customer service is awesome! The manager or assistant manager Gabriela definitely knows what she's doing and is more than nice to every single customer that comes in. There was a problem with one of my friends orders one time and she got the problem fixed in no time! This is definitely a place you can come to and enjoy your time, especially with the TV's you can watch different sports events that are on. I just moved to the area a month ago and have gotten food from here at least five times. They make the best wings. They aren't dried out like many other places, they're smothered in sauce, and the sauce that they're smothered in is really, really good. Half of the time it is my vegetarian wife who wants food from here because she loves getting the medium sauce to dip fries in. The breadsticks that come with the combo meals are also tasty. Full disclosure, we've only ever done take out, but the people are always very polite and the restaurant looks extremely clean. The atmosphere seems like more of a dine-in place than your typical sports-bar wing place ( they do have widescreen tv's though). I stopped in here for a quick lunch today and what a great experience. The customer service from the young lady at the Counter well exceeded my expectations. She was friendly and really seemed to enjoy her job. I ate in the dining room, which was busy, but very clean. In the 25 minutes I was there, I saw employees wiping down tables and being attentive about trash. My $13 lunch was so much food that I couldn't finish, but I appreciated how well it was prepared. Okay, so I am not a person who expects to be treated like a queen when I go to a restaurant, but it would be nice to receive a "hello" and some for of service when I order. I used to frequent this place at least once a week; if not more. Unfortunately, I believe that this place is being mismanaged by the lack of professionalism, consistency of quality food, and cleanliness. I believe this establishment needs to focus on the customer, as customers are the deciding factors that may keep this place afloat. When I used to eat here, I noticed an improvement in the professionalism and friendliness of the cashiers; however, this seemed to be short-lived. Now, it seems to be the norm to expect terrible service the moment you walk-in. The cashiers are typically the first people we encounter when we walk-in, and they should be the most inviting. However, I noticed that the turn-over rate seems to be high due to the new, younger faces I see. I am not certain if this company invests in its new employees by putting them through customer service training, but it does appear there IS NO training at all. The new, younger employees do not appear that they are interested in working as it seems that only 2-3 employees are truly "working", whilst the others are in the corner on their cell phones and not acknowledging that to-go orders are ready or that customers are waiting in line ready to place an order. I can truly see that if nothing is changed, the employees will run this place to the ground. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Also, I feel that when the menu changes, the employees are not aware of such changes. It must be very embarrassing for the employee to be asked a question, and he/she does not know how to answer because they too, only just learned about the changes themselves. A good company will inform the staff on the upcoming changes so everyone is kept well-informed and will be ready to provide great customer service. The quality of food is inconsistent. When I order my wings "dry", 75% of the time my wings are drenched in sauce. Often times when I request large ranch cups for larger meals, they are not available. I do not know who's responsible to ensure there's enough product, however, this is not managed well. The breadsticks surprise me the most! I love the breadsticks here, but that too, is VERY inconsistent. Many times it comes out just right, but other times it is undercooked. Lastly, this company is situated in a nice neighborhood and would expect the interior to be clean. More recently, I've noticed a decline in the appearance and cleanliness. The floors are sticky and trash on the floors. The bathrooms are hideous. AND the soda machine smells OF MOLD!!!! I'm afraid if a health inspector visits this establishment unannounced, Wings and Things will loose a grade in rating. If I can smell mold, it must not be good for our health..HEALTH HAZARD. This place was improving, but like I mentioned before, that was short-lived. No one is holding the employees accountable as the "new" high school employees act like they are in school, but are getting paid; the place looks run down; and the food quality varies. Those who've remained employed here (the cute Filipina lady cashier, and the Mexican male cashier) are the only employees who seem invested in this company as from what I see from the other side of the counter, are the only ones who are working hard. As a manager myself, if things do not change and the 2 remaining seasoned employees continue to pick up the slack, the good employees will find another place of employment where things are "fairly" distributed; the owners will see a decrease in profit due to a loss of customers and wasted food/supplies due to sub-par quality food and wrong orders; and possibly fines due to possible mold in the soda machine. Whomever is managing this place needs management training! Stop hiring high school students who do not want to work. Due to decline of this establishment, I only visit this place when I am craving this food; which is rare nowadays. I asked for a water cup and I just poured a bit of iced tea, then when our food came "sean" the person bringing me my food greeted our table by demanding i dump out my drink and held the food until I dumped it out.
