Visiting from Florida, we were taken to this unique eatery with a cool garage/car theme! What a great place! We had just arrived from our road trip, so we didn't get appetizers - but after having our dinner, I think we would have loved them! The table had falafel, chicken sandwich, the Cubano, Caesar salad, garden salad and jambalaya. Amaz-balls! Everything was SO GOOD! Prices were not horrible and definitely worth the little wait we had on a Friday night. Even the manager stopped by our table to see how our table liked the food. If you're ever in Chester Springs, it is worth the stop! read more

I had high hopes for this place. So first the positives: the concept is cool and the food is not terrible. Now the needs improvement: the staff is young which doesn't make it a bad thing, but you can tell the experience right from the get-go. The staff needs more personality. There was a lot of rigid personalities. The problem with the food is that kitchen does not season. You need to back up the food with salt and pepper. I don't know if that's by design or if that was a decision made by the owner or head chef, but the food was bland. This might work for people that do not have pallets. But my wife and I have been in many restaurants and we can tell. Plus, we know the food is frozen. You can't make it if you have frozen food. I would work on those things and I'm sure those stars will go up a notch or two. read more

Coming to the Epicurean Garage for the first time, it was a nice cozy dining experience met with delicious foods and a special atmosphere. The interior is uniquely decorated with car parts and all sorts of mechanical items that would be found in a garage, as why it's named the Epicurean Garage. They have a decent sized bar and good service from the 'younger' staff working there. The Alfredo pasta was good and the other foods were tasty. Overall, it's a nice place to eat for a casual weekday night meal with friends or family. read more

So this location is a spot to visit if you are a car lover or a lover of vintage styles. The food came out plated perfectly and everything has a cute theme to it even how the silverware is served in little buckets. The waitstaff was kind. Food was flavorful but the only "meh" was it wasn't piping hot - not the coffee or pasta. And the waffle was saturated with syrup so it made it a smidge mushy. This would not stop me from going back and giving it another try it looks like they have a great turn out for happy hour too! read more

We went on a Sunday and found it to be fairly empty. We ordered a Belgian waffle, burger board, kids fish and chips, and kids fingers and fries. They covered the fish in panko, somewhat of an odd choice, the tenders lacked any sort of flavor (and I mean salt), burger board is nothing more than what it sounds like, so not good, and a sad Belgian waffle with some sort of butter syrup, not appetizing. I certainly liked the fries though and everyone was nice. read more

Food and services are great! We were repeat customers! Don't miss this place! You'll be glad!

Kristina is the worst. Absolute, worst!!!!! she accommodated everything we asked for and more. I couldn't find a reason to not tip her. I tried to hard, and ended up leaving her a 40% tip because she did so well. We asked for a meat board that allowed us to sample all the different things along with the charcuterie board. She not only said yes, but she had the chef create boards that had never been served before. Was extremely impressed and out extra money due to her hard work and amazing service. This was money well spent and look forward to coming back and asking for another difficult to fill request. read more

Arrived on a rainy Saturday night. Appreciated the efforts of the hostess to squeeze us in since we had no reservations. High top table was comfortable enough. Loved the garage inspired decor. Waiter greeted us with the standard question "first time here?". Yes it was and I steeled myself for a poorly rehearsed script common to chains. But was surprised by his response. "Why? We've been here 3 years. Why indeed. Not a far drive for us. The salmon bowl was loaded with greens. Cole slaw, black bean and mango salsas and oranges topped with a perfectly cooked generous salmon filet. So good. So filling. Partner loved the chicken pot pie special. Too full for dessert, but took home the blueberry brunch bread. Enjoyed it for breakfast. Long time fan of the chef from the Epicurean in Phoenixville. Glad he's back in fine form. read more

Cute concept and decor. Food was good, waitress was fantastic and super sweet and fun. A little disappointed in the menu... Not sure what all the hype is about to be honest. I really expected more of a variety / more choices on the menu. And that would be my only con/complaint here. read more

Open Table to the rescue. Last minute reservation made Friday for 5:45pm. Walked in to be sat right away. Zack was our server. Very friendly and offered up a complimentary beer or wine (BYO too for now) so Coors Lite or Yuengling Lager on the house for beers. I enjoyed the Salmon BLT myself. My wife had a crock of French Onion soup (quite salty, but that is typically the case) and Brussel Sprouts, which were steamed and sliced in half, so more al dente with buttter and some bacon. A bit boring to say the least. My daughter had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was tasty. Waffle was a bit soft in the middle...not uncooked, but just mushy. Maple topping heavy, rich and delish. Just didn't need much. Space is very nice and lots of staff walking around to be sure service is top notch. Will return to try more items. read more

I've been coming here for more than 5 years and love how they've made it even more family Friendly and allergen friendly. I can always find something to eat there without feeling limited to one or two options. Lots of gluten free options to choose from. The kids love the car tables and the pods outside. read more

I have been here a few times along with their food truck. The food and drinks are always amazing. This time I had the garage nachos are the burger and egg board. The nachos were loaded up and tasty. The burger and egg board was very tasty and a great visual presentation along with flavorful as well. I washed it all down with the caramel dipped apple which was a delicious fall cocktail the have currently. Overall it was another great experience here besides our waiter. Our waiter wasn't the most attentive and only really came around when bringing a plate or drink over and he never asked any of us how we wanted our burgers cooked . That's the only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5, any other day I would have given this place 5. read more

Our first time here, stopped in for lunch. It was very good. I had the chicken fingers my husband had the Texas chili. The bartender was very nice. My only negative was signing up for the app. It was ridiculous! We never got credit & it still won't show up on our phone. ‍‍ read more

Came here for brunch with some family a few weeks back. The most annoying thing about the meal was the fact that the dishes served were different then what's on the menu. They ran out of breakfast potatoes and substituted tater tots.... No discussion about this, just a statement that they ran out and substituted. Would have been nice to know in case the potatoes were a deal breaker on ordering that item. They also have a berry waffle, which was supposed to have ice cream on it and just literally had no ice cream, but did have whipped cream. I get that you run out of things, but they should be brought up with the customer in case they want to change their order. I had a southwest omelette, which was very mediocre. Tater tots were drowned in grease. I wouldn't eat here again. One positive: I did like the self serve soda fountain. read more

Great setting with the vintage car booths and excellent service. The food was really good! Very convenient using the qr ordering!

My family and I had another awesome meal at EG last Thursday night. I called at 4pm hoping to grab and outside tent for dinner and they had space available at 5pm. We were in our own private greenhouse which was just adorable. It would have been nice if the house was preheated but it didn't take too long before it got warm. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the cup of Mac and cheese for my 3y/o and Garage Fries with cheese, bacon and scallions for an app. The Mac and cheese serving was huge, way more than a literal measuring cup and the fries were really good. It's nice that you add the cheese on yourself so the fries don't get all soggy. I had the Slow-Braised Angus Short-Rib with Cheddar Grits, the husband had Crispy Chicken and Waffle and we all split a piece of the chocolate cake for dessert. When I first saw my short rib n grits I was afraid that I wasn't going to like it cause there was a lot of gravy all over it and I'm not a fan at all of stew type things but it was so amazing I couldn't stop eating it. The chicken and waffle was of course delicious and the cake was so yummy. I felt very comfortable eating here during the pandemic and will be returning in the near future! read more

Our second time here. The first time we were outside on a summer day. This time we dined inside and what an experience. The food is delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits (spicy), jambalaya, and brisket and grits. Almost forgot that the fries and teriyaki, honey sesame wings were phenomenal. My daughter got the grilled cheese. It was made on thick bread and lots of cheese. You'll want to chop it up for the littles. Our server was friendly and attentive. The manager stopped by several times to confirm we were ok. FYI...they also have toolboxes with toys for the kids. Next time we go, I hope to sit in the converted car booths. read more

It was just ok. Our group of 8 had burgers, short ribs, chicken tenders and salad. Nothing bad, but nothing real good either. Service was the same mediocre rating. read more

What a cool place. Decorated like an upscale man cave. Great booths that feel like you're in a car. Nachos were good!

Came up a bit short in my opinion. Food was ok, I had the special Chalupas which were good but the steak was way too fatty. Service was excellent and the waitress was very attentive. I wasn't a fan of sitting in a greenhouse(literally), but I guess that's Covid. We came for cold beer, which is on their logo, but they don't serve alcohol - weird. We even thought about leaving, but decided to give it a try. This place is definitely not a terrible place, but not a place I'd write home about. read more

We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy and we told the waiter we were in a time crunch. Well we realized 20 minutes later he didn't even put our order in the system and continued to take drink orders and other tables orders and put them all in the system at once! The kid behind the bar was on his cell the whole time. I realize they have changed their model here however not on my dime again. These folks need more training and someone onsite managing them. read more

One of my go-to restaurants. Their chicken sandwich is delicious, and my husband goes there specifically for their meatloaf. I've noticed poorer food quality recently, but I know they have been undergoing renovations. In general, their food is delicious and our son loves the cars to sit in. Definitely recommended. read more

They had no diet soft drinks(we asked no cans offered). I did not see any adults working there. Food was not as good as in years past. That said I like their mission and am hopeful they were just having an off day. read more

I am that guy. That guy who smokes in 30 minutes before closing. I came because the reviews seemed especially good. I sat at the bar and asked what was good and ordered as recommended. I did a curbside pickup of an order here a few weeks ago. I haven't been inside and anytime who wants to dine out can. There are lots of tables in a variety of shelters just out side the door or in the grassy median next to the cart way. My dining partner was craving fish and chips and chicken and waffles so we go both and shared. The fish was just meh even though it was a large portion. It was crispy but flavorless. Fries were ok. The chicken and waffles was recommended by the order taker. I think the packed the waffle too quickly in its plastic container as it was tasty but soggy. The chick was nice and crispy. But unlike everything else which was packed with care, this was not. So the spicy sauce for the chicken spilled over into the chicken as did the maple butter for the waffle. Not a complete crisis but in combination with the limp waffle, it was disappointing. We also tried a side of the Mac and cheese ( good but not super memorable) and the fries with cheese, bacon and scallions (same sauce as with the Mac and cheese, good real bacon, fresh scallion). After I placed the order I was told there would be a 45 minute wait even though it was 3 pm. I was surprised by that. I would rate these folks at 3.5 stars and try them in house one more time to see if these missteps were just a reflection of COVID restrictions or an off day. read more

Good service, great beer selection easy to get too! Some of the food was bland but would try it again

We like that this location doesn't necessarily have the standard bar & grill fair that everyone is offering. Some of the dishes might not be everyone's cup of tea, and the staff can be on the younger, inexperienced side. However, there are some good choices here if you're looking for something a little different with generous portions. I recommend the Cubano sandwich. read more

My new fav local place. Met up with a group of friends Friday night. Skipped the table and we sat at the bar. The service is SPOT ON. Our bartender Amanda was awesome. We also met Amy the manager and Lee, the owner. These people care about the diners and the attention shows. Even though our Lieutenant governor was also dining there with his family, our group received a lot of attention. It's part of their signature. Free beer and wine until they get their liquor license . But it always comes down to the food, doesn't it. And it didn't disappoint. The food is first rate. Tried the mushroom risotto with blackened salmon. DAYMN!!! And a few appetizers. This is NOT your average eat. This is a foodie restauranteur doing what he does best. So!!! Nachos. Not my usual fav, but shared. Whew!!! The lamb chops are an app. For real!!! Where does that ever happen. And they're pure perfection. I'll let the pics speak. PS. I'm meeting friends there again next Friday. And one more thing. I had to buy a T-shirt. The retro design is too good not to. read more

I've been to the Garage a handful of times. During the pandemic we did takeout brunch that was excellent. Post-pandemic they continued to impress with good hot brunch fare. I have also gone for dinner and had less impressive food. It's basically bar food, which is ok but not always what I'm looking for in a dinner. My last trip there with friends was sort of depressing. The staff was helpful, but not very proactive... they didn't offer up anything I couldn't figure out myself or hint that maybe another round of snacks or drinks might be a good idea. The mixed drinks were weak and uninspired. The beer was semi flat. The nachos were ok. The decor here is weird and looks very tired. I see an episode of Bar Rescue coming soon. read more
