I called to pick up food late at night just before they were going to be closing. The boy who answered the phone and took my order was ADORABLE. So sweet and so kind even tho I'm sure it was inconvenient to be ordering so late. Chicken Mac n chz was sooo good. My boyfriend loved his wings. Sandwich good. French onion soup pretty good alothoygh I've had better But overall all was good!

Great spot to relax and escape for a while. Nice neighborhood feel. Nice cold beer and good food. Enjoy.

Overall good neighborhood place. Classic bar food, friendly wait staff and bartenders. Always a nice selection of beer. Usually crowded and hard to find a seat at the bar. I've been a few times to watch games or meet friends and each time it's been a nice experience. The food is classic American bar food. Of all I've had I highly recommend the cheesesteak tots when they're on special. They were delicious and I always crave them now!!

Best bar food we've had in a really long time. Everything was excellent and we received great service too!

Easy to locate but difficult to find parking (may have to go across the street). We were seated right away despite our whole party not present yet. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She messed up our order a few times but we didn't mind because who doesn't want more food? But the food was pretty average. We got drinks and appetizers. Just wanted a quick stop to fuel before going bowling that night. I think we got one of everything on the shareables menu. The mozzarella sticks were the best. The nachos were mushy and so was the artichoke dip. The chicken strips were decent and the deep fried pickles too! Overall, it was the exact greasy fattening once a time food we were looking for. Ended up being $16 a piece between the five of us.

Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure - try harder

Casey did not strike out but he did not hit a homerun. This Cheesesteak leads off with a Conshohocken roll. The conshohocken roll is a great leadoff hitter. The position players really helped this cheesesteak. The mushrooms and fried onions spent some time together on the grill and were very tasty. There was a good amount of cheese. I just wish it was mixed in with the meat better. The meat was the weak Link in this cheesesteak. Casey's was not as well lit as I thought it was going to be for lunch. I had to use my other phone to light the Cheesesteak for the close-up pics. Good overall experience.

Beautifully plated $12 Bacon Cheddar Burger. For that $$, the execution was meh. I was unimpressed!

I love the great marketing with "Pour" in the name but unfortunately part of my experience on Thursday was the other type of "poor." In case you're wondering, this joint and Casey's Public House in Newtown Square have the same owner. The Casey's in Drexel Hill used to be part of the group but is now owned by an ex-partner. So I showed up around 4:45 on Thursday and sat at the very large oval bar. First impressions were spot on. The ATMOSPHERE was typical slightly dark pub. The seating surrounding the bar was booths which I like. The place was spotless. Classic rock was playing by satellite. I would have preferred a TouchTunes juke box but that's a minor quibble. Second impressions were also great. My bartender was quick with my first drink and menu and turned out to be friendly and competent so CUSTOMER SERVICE was just fine. I perused the menu of mostly typical pub grub and went with the Bacon Cheddar Burger for $12. It came with homemade potato chips which is a nice touch. I asked the bartender if the fries were also fresh-cut and he said nope, they're from a bag. My burger arrived quickly and was plated beautifully. Now for the "poor" part. I snagged a homemade potato chip and they were not fresh. I could tell they really had potential but not on this day. The quality of my bun was absolutely amazing. One of the best I have ever tasted. Unfortunately it was served ice cold which is a huge negative for me. If this bun had been lightly grilled I'll bet I would have been blown away! I had asked for my burger medium and it arrived well done. I was not impressed. The good news was it was still juicy and flavorful. As you can tell, my FOOD did not ring my bells. So part of my experience was great but the food let me down. I'm going to go with an overall three stars and hope that my experience was an exception and not the rule. I will be back to try them again.

    Spicy BBQ Wings

$0.50 WING NIGHT!!!!! That's what Wednesday's are at Casey's! (They have other daily specials but we lucked up w this). The spicy bbq wings were decent and the other available flavors were Inferno, Hot, Mild, Old Bay and Jerk Spice. Their menu is pretty extensive and they have LOTS of what I call Philly foods / favorites such as cheesesteak egg rolls, chicken cheesesteak fries, Philadelphia snapper soup ....so making a decision on the main course was tricky but we both landed on sandwiches. The fries and chips that came along with them were the true stars because they were crispy and both homemade! His prime rib Sammy was yummier than my roast pork as I had to drown that Baby in the Jous that came on the side. The bartender was really good and attentive which made drinks and dinner fun too! We came, we saw, we said EHHHHHH and we were cool with that! Thanks Casey's!

Nice, friendly neighborhood hangout. Felt comfortable even though we weren't regulars. Good food, solid draft selection.

White Dog Cafe is actually so so good! We went for brunch for my sister's birthday. It's pricey but…read moreeverything was extremely delicious. And the ambiance is really nice -- fancy farm to table with plush seating and pillows. If you're going to get an appetizer, I would highly recommend getting the snack board to share (unfortunately this was eaten before I got to take photos). It includes delicious biscuits paired with the most perfect sausage gravy, thick cut bacon, fruit, croissant, warm donut holes, deviled eggs, and dips/jams. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. The gravy is jaw-dropping and perfect with the texture of the biscuit -- trust me, you have to try it!!! The donut holes are fluffy and soft fritters. I also really loved the deviled eggs' flavor. For my entree, I got the breakfast pot pie (in the photo) which had the same incredible gravy and biscuit crust as the appetizer, topped with a crispy fried egg. My sister had the Challah French Toast (peach compote) which was also incredible -- perfect without being too sweet. Both were huge portions. Service was also excellent -- our waitress very kindly brought out our toddler nieces' kids' meals first along with our appetizers. She even brought out a little sorbet on the house for my sister's birthday (which also was very very good!)

The people at the front gave off awkward vibes, ANd as for our server...she's domethin'. There was…read morea lot of snark and attitude detected, and we were a big party, which means she's automaticaly raking in 20% on a substantial bill. And we all got alcoholic drinks, and many with desserts. The Smoked Old Fahioned was very not good. It smelled nice, but tasted like cherry cough syrup. It was like smoked cherry cordial with a splash of well-shelf bourbon. It's probably not literally well-shelf... just an emphasis on how unpalatable this was and therefore expensive for what it is. I didnt pay $15+ for some cherry cordial. Waitress vocalized distaste when we wanted to spit checks - which we told her before placing orders. Then she gave sh** about seating arrangements; since we wanted to split checks she ordered us to sit by how checks are being split. That's a new one... She said she would have to write separate checks... an obvuous approach... I endorse that plan smh. Wouldn't that be easier when it comes to "splitting checks" when all is said and done? To treat us as separate tables but still tack on 20% per check? As we are wrapping up dinner and everyone else was looking over dessert, I told her she could bring mine now since I have a 45 min drive back to CC and I have perishables. People are now eating their dessert and she's still fussing aroundat her kiosk. I eventually approach her and asked for mine again. She got super frustrated and unprofessional, and said us wanting to split bills is (exact words) "tumultuous." Does she even know what that word means? "I thought you wrote separate checks?" But she's trying to figure out how to split like $8 rolls among like 12 people. She was like, "Then who is paying for the rolls?" That is her job to find out. I am a guest, not the host of the party. I only know three other people there. She walks to the table and says (again..exact words), "Who's paying for the rolls?" As if we are planning on dining and dashing with basic dinner rolls. Why? Because we are a table of minorities? Had we been a table of all white, would she have asked HOW we would like to have it split? I was in the dine-in food service industry for several years. I had thought splitting checks was a very common practice, and I absolutely did NOT ask patrons to sit in specific order. White Dog in UC didn't do that either (or anywhere else). Perhaps White Castle is more within her playing field. Some courses in sensitivity training may aid in her professional development. And they wanted to charge like $4 per person since someone baked cupcakes.... reminder that most people also ordered dessert on top of all this. They can go pound the sand.
