Over a week ago on a Friday night, a friend of mine and I were walking down Beverly Dr. to grab dinner and just do some window shopping on February 27th. We walked into a cute store that had pretty shawls and cute clothes from Free People. As we were just walking in the lady working there asked if we wanted to purchase anything. We were there 1 minute and already felt very pressured. As we walked around she followed us like a hawk and it was very strange. We were there for maybe 5-6 minutes and she said " Do you have any money to spend?" I was floored by that comment. As we walked out she said " well, come back when you have money ." Well I won't be going back. I have worked in customer service and never have treated customers like that before. Sherry Andrus, the owner of this boutique , who refused to speak to me on the phone the day I tried to make a return/exchange on a defective pair of leggings and she also failed to email me back after I emailed her regarding the terrible customer service I received at her clothing boutique. I tried to contact Sherry to make things right, prior to posting on Yelp but obviously she does not care about her customers or about her reputation as a business owner: The letter I emailed Sherry reads as follows; Dear Sherry Andrus, This letter serves as a formal request for a full refund on the leggings that I purchased from your store. I purchased XCVI Chocolate brown leggings on 10/15/21, and paid a total amount of $68.00, plus tax. It seems that the leggings are defective . The leggings have ripped. I became aware of the holes in the leggings at the event that I was attending, which was the first time I had worn them. Each of the holes or rips are near the back pockets were the thread is unraveling. I came to your store on 10/19/21 to return the defective merchandise and was treated rather poorly by your employee Madison. Madison had the audacity to suggest I was to blame for the hole and rip my b the leggings. Madison called You on the phone, to ask for your advice on how to handle the situation. Sherry you were equally has rude, passing messages to Madison over the phone , refusing to speaking with me directly after I requested to speak to you several times. You instructed Madison to offer me half of a store credit. I have never been so insulted, what the hell is half a store credit. Madison kept stating that the leggings were made of high-quality material, that the leggings did not leave the store in the manner. Obviously, that is a lie. These leggings were Defective and you chose not to be accountable for your merchandise! I am from Chicago, visiting Dallas, helping my daughter relocate for her job. We were shopping in the Bishops Arts area and saw your store. I thought your clothes were really cute, trendy, I liked what I saw in the display window and decided to shop there. I spent $252.23 in your store and this is how I'm being treated. I have shopped at many high-end retail stores and was never treated this way. I chose to spend my hard earned money at your store and I do not appreciate being treated like a common criminal, as if I was lying about the leggings being defective. I don't know how you have a store at all with your horrible horrible customer service and return policy. Also by the way your return policy it states on the receipt we except exchanges within seven days of purchase. You should accept merchandise back that is defective graciously without any issues just the way you took my money. Your prices are rather on the high side so you should have fantastic customer service. read more

Well, it's always fun to walk into a shop and be offered champagne! This charming place had fun clothing (including Texas themed), jewelry and gifty items. Boutiques are obviously not my thing. Let's make that my official disclaimer with this review. I'm not a big shopper as it is, and when I find places that are kind of specialized I usually don't find anything I need or want. Epiphany has a lot of accessories like rings, necklaces and bracelets. Scarves, jeans, some shoes, a few purses, a few tshirts. I saw some earrings for $60. Ouch. Everything is really cute in the store; it's just not my style or price range. But maybe it's yours. read more

The store is a strange combination of hipster chic for guys-tight jeans, funny, vintage looking t-shirts, and like a high end boutique for women. A bunch of designers that I've never heard of but I'm sure must be well-known to fashionistas because they cost a lot of money. Really frilly blouses and some line of underwear that I've never heard of before but also really sexy looking and expensive. I bought a t-shirt there for $30 dollars because I felt like I should buy something after all. I don't know if I would wear it but the staff was really helpful and it was really soft. I guess in the end that's the bottom line for me for a clothing store, would I wear their clothes? I am on the fence about it so I'm going to give them a deuce. read more

I was putting up a flyer today with friends and instead of letting me know that it wasn't allowed, the employee or manager of Epiphany Boutique came running out of the store and he got right up in our personal space..he made a very rude, sarcastic comment to us about putting up the flyer. Then he ripped it off the pole so we just walked away and that's when he called me an A**Hole. If he had come out and said..hey we don't allow that in this area, we would have happily taken it down ourselves and apologize for the inconvenience, but he felt the need to do it this way. I could have posted this on my social media platforms, but I decided to use Yelp instead. Do better next time. You don't have to be rude...kindness goes a long way. Came in from out of town to visit relatives and we stopped in the shop to pick up some gifts. The merchandise was overpriced and except for some of the jewelry, poor quality. On top of that the staff was rude and abrupt when presented with questions. Avoid this place. Can't believe I forgot to review this place from my sojourn to Bishop Arts over the weekend! Basically this is a little clothes boutique for women mostly, although they do have some men's items as well. The staff was helpful and I overheard them telling a guy that you get a discount on something if you rode a bike to the store. I guess that's cool if you rode a bike to the store, but I didn't because I am lazy and Bishop Arts is far. If you are all green-like then keep that in mind. I spotted Joes jeans for the ladies in a couple of different styles, scarves, accessories, lots of bohemian looking hippie shirts which aren't my thing, and an entire rack of T shirts with funny sayings. This is where I got excited and ended up buying one (it says Local Celebrity if you wondered...). They have a T shirt section for men as well. All those Ts were $30 which was a tad expensive but not extremely unreasonable. I wish I had looked more at the jewelry section now that I know it is all local designers...next time, next time! Adorable boutique. Darling accessories. Owner keeps her BIG bull mastiff dog in the back of store that is so friendly you just can't help but smile. I always love going in there to see what new stuff they have. However, the $$$ on some items are CRAAAZY...$75 for a t-shirt. Sorry. But...they do have some great sales (who can pass that up?) The jewelery is all handmade from local designers...i've bought a few pairs and I always get compliments on them. All in all, great place to just window shop or scrounge the sale rack. read more

The jewelry selection at Epiphany is not just quality but quantity, as well. The local boutique boasts a limited amount of nice clothing, but the true treasure of the shopping spot is the jewelry. Lovely, delicate, and hand-made jewelry that appeals to all genres of ladies. Although pricey, every piece is made by a local jeweler and uniquely made. I was definitely impressed by each ring, necklace, and stones. They also have a lingerie selection with incredible prices. I went home a happy chicka with a $20 brazierre and a $10 delicious smelling candle! Shop local, y'all! read more

I stopped by with a friend after dinner in the area. (On a side note, kudos to the Bishop Arts shops for staying open till 10 PM! I can't think of a better post-dinner activity with a girlfriend). As a jewelry lover/junkie, I was immediately seduced by their beautiful necklaces. Among them were various stones hanging from delicate chains, some designed to be statement pieces and others designed more simply for every day wear. The best way to describe them would be romantic, unique, and eclectic. They're not cheap though (about $70 and up), and it look all of my will power to not buy a piece that night. Visions of the jewelry still dance in my head, and I'll likely succumb on a future visit. I didn't really take a good look at the clothing, but did end up buying a cute Texas Rangers T-shirt. I think this boutique thinks it's Anthropologie. They carry some Free People products, but it doesn't translate well. The buyer for the store has a distinct western chic style. Individual pieces are cute but it doesn't integrate well in the store, so it looks like a haphazard collection of random pieces. Even if I found something cute, I have to rack my brain for ways to wear it in an outfit - and they do not give you ideas. On top of that, it's priced like a high-end boutique. I just walk in to browse while I'm waiting for a table for brunch nearby - no actual shopping is happening. read more

I put the PRO in procrastinator and waited until the day of to purchase my mom's Birthday gift. I knew I wanted to get her a Bandolier cross body phone case but wasn't sure where I was going to find one in time. Enter Epiphany Boutique- I saw that they were a Bandolier retailer, messaged them on Instagram and within minutes someone answered and directed me to a sales rep at the store. A few moments later they had texted me pictures of every style & color they had in stock. I picked my favorite and they had it giftwrapped and ready to go when I walked in. This kind of customer service is almost impossible to find anymore and was not lost on me. I am a forever fan of this place and can't wait to shop here again! The employees are rude and inconsiderate. The merchandise is overpriced. It has such a strict return policy probably because the owners know it will close soon. Today my mom flew in from Denver and I wanted to show off Bishop Arts district, just minutes from my home. Watch out!!! This store has a NO REFUND policy, only store credit or exchange within 7 days, even if with original receipt and tags on clothing. What reputable store has such a draconian rule? I could understand this policy for sale items, but not for new, grossly overpriced merchandise. Be sure you are absolutely SURE before you let them swipe you and your credit card. read more

Disappointed in the customer service when an item didn't fit and needed to be returned. The manager simply pointed at the receipt when I went back with the item. Be 100% sure your purchase fits before purchasing as it is not communicated at time of checkout- and if you read on your receipt then it obviously too late because you have purchased the item. I've been here 3 times to shop for gifts for family members and made a purchase twice. As a man, it's not always easy shopping for female loved ones. The staff here is very helpful and eager to assist customers (especially during the slower hours of the midweek). They have a great assortment of clothing and accessories. However, I'm giving this boutique a negative review because of how awful (I'm assuming it was the store manager) the manager on duty this morning was. I called to ask about the metals used in the jewelry and the woman was so rude that I decided I will never purchase anything from this store again. My fiance also called at a later time to and hung up on her because she was so "bitchy" that he, as a customer, would not be treated that way.
