I have been going to Dr. George for many years. I have been treated for different skin issues. I have always been treated with the utmost quality of care and compaction she has always answered all my concerns. I had a biopsy that came back cancerous on my face that needed mod surgery she immediately connected me the specialist. By the way he was the best. The cancer was above the lip by the nose I was worried there would be a bad scar but like I said he was the best. The staff at her office has always been courteous. This was the worst experience ever. Dr. Mary George was the worst medical provider I have ever wasted money and time on. My primary care physician sent me to Epiphany because I could get in fast. I have what is suspected to be something vascular. I have a loud livedo racemosa pattern which Mary ignored. A year old painful lesion Mary called "normal" and skin extrusions as long as my palm that Mary called "a little keratin plug". No maam. Not from my lip. Any push back or questions were met with hostility. Mary refused to do the test my primary care physician requested to see if the obviously necrotic lesions were from damaged small blood vessels Mary accused me of drug use and picking at myself in front of my 15 year old non verbal autistic son. Just because he doesn't speak doesn't mean he can't hear. He is scared to death and kept putting my car keys in my hand and using his communication device to tell me to go back. This is not care. She unnecessarily performed a procedure on me, and all procedures carry risk, that any physician would know was the incorrect procedure. Mary also gave me Urea cream for skin damaged by poor blood flow. That could further irritate compromised skin and lead to infection because my skin barrier is failing. Attached are images Mary thinks are "little keratin plugs" and lesions Mary thinks are "normal". My physician begs to differ. So will Medicare. Yes. You got a Medicare patient presenting rare but documented skin issues that don't point to drug use or picking. read more

I was an established patient of Dr. George before the practice was sold to Epiphany Dermatology and had previously received multiple PRP treatments for hair loss without ever being charged an additional cosmetic consult fee. At a recent visit, I mentioned ongoing hair loss when asked if I had other concerns. My insurance was billed for a hair loss visit and I paid my copay. I was then charged an additional cosmetic consult fee for "hair growth," despite the discussion consisting of repeat information that was already in my chart. The cosmetic fee amount was not disclosed beforehand, and I was asked to sign the fee agreement after the visit. I attempted to resolve this through the office, corporate billing, and regional management over the course of more than a month, and also as a last resort through the BBB. Epiphany Dermatology did not meaningfully respond (if at all) and refused to address the issue in writing. My case remains unresolved/open with the BBB. I chose to end my care here due to lack of fee transparency and unwillingness to communicate. read more

I really enjoy Dr. George. She has been on my skin journey for years and now I'm introducing her to my children and there skin problems as well. She is very knowledgeable of her expertise and maintains her humbleness. She is always smiling , professional and attentive. Her staff has always been friendly ,approachable and professional . This office has always been clean quiet and socially distanced. Depending on insurance she could be pricey but good care comes with a price. She has fixed all my skin problems better than expected and she is the best for my family . No complaints at all . read more

I scheduled an appointment here to arrive to the most unprofessional billing practices. Apparently, the office requires you to leave a card on file to ensure payments for services received. This was not communicated during the time I made my appointment. Therefore, I was not comfortable this this and I had miss receiving medical care. I would not recommend office. My first visit, I was greeted by Dr. George telling me that I was late and she had to move quickly to get to her next appointment. No introductory of herself, this being my first visit. I was not late getting to her office, howevever, I was given three full pages needing to be filled out. There is a good reason why your office only has a 3 star rating. I felt dismissed. I lived in the country adjacent to the forest for forty years. I studied entomology, I know what types of flying, biting, stinging insects (arthropods) there are and how they affect me. Mosquitoes do not phase me where as my daughters swell up and are miserable. I am at an age that I have enough knowledge about my body and the way things affect it that I can tell what type of bug bit me. You need to better inform yourself about the Oak Tree Leaf Itch Mite. They are a real pest and there is no prevention. All I get from you is a disgusted look and a suggestion to fumigate my house. I told you numerous times how and when I got the bites. I am sure you have seen your fair share of bed bug bites but they are not the same "bug" as a tree mite and tree mites don't live in your house! Thank you for absolutely nothing. I have a child with an immunosuppressant and still have to take precautions. I chose this business specifically because they still required masks. I went to my appointment today and one girl at the desk was masked, two were not. All other patients in the small waiting room were unmasked. Three of those patients were coughing and sniffling. I asked for Botox and SHE chose to inject me with Dysport without asking me and when I figured out what she did and I called to confront her about it she said that doctors use these drugs interchangeably all the time... they may but not without the patient's approval. Dr. George is great. I've seen her for Botox (cosmetic and for teeth grinding) and for acne and Accutane. She's been great for my medical and cosmetic needs. The practice is misleading. I was quoted one price and charged another. I should've been told how the office operates, as far as their requirements for your visits. When I made my appointment I was very specific with what I wanted. When they set the appointment I didn't know they couldn't live up to my request. After making, keeping and attending my appointment, to then be told your procedure is not happening that day, it would be at least one, possibly two more visits and my cost would be three times what I was quoted, is very disappointing. When I stated my dissatisfaction it was put back on me the patient, why didn't I ask more questions, then I would know how they run their appointments. Needless to say, they wouldn't budge on returning any money that was required as prepayment. I feel like they didn't do anything, they placed all responsibility on the patient and.never morally offered any resolution. This office requires a CC number or 50.00 deposit to be seen. I have hit max out of pocket on my insurance and just going in for for skin cancer screening. I do not feel comfortable with them storing my CC number and do not want to have to chase them down to get my 50.00 back. More worried about payment than seeing patients. I had an appointment to see Dr. George, but her staff refused to let me see her because I would not let them scan my driver's license and credit card into their computer system. When - not if - their system is hacked, the hackers will find the holy grail of identity thieves. Exposing patients' non-medical personal and financial information to hackers and thieves is as criminal as the acts of stealing it. I went to see a dermatologist a year ago about my psoriasis and they told me it would be 3 months before I could get an appointment. I said that was fine and waited the 3 months. When I was finally at the appointment I saw the doctor for a total of five minutes and all he did was confirm that I had psoriasis (thanks) and then said I'd have to have blood work and a tb test and then left the room. He didn't tell me what kind of blood work I needed or where to go and he didn't talk to me about any kind of medication. And my copay ended up being 80 dollars. Needless to say I was pretty dejected and put off going back to a dermatologist. Then recently my sister, who works at a medical office, told me about Dr. George. She said she moved to a location close by and specialized in psoriasis! So I called to set up an appointment, fully expecting to wait 3 months again, the receptionist asked if I had time the NEXT DAY! So I went in for my appt and I saw Dr. George's associate who was an absolute doll, she told me what kind of labs I needed, where I could go to get them, she told me what medication she felt would be best for me and wanted to get me started on it immediately. So I went and got my labs done at the place she suggested and within a few days I was approved for my medicine. And I didn't have a copay! I'm very pleased and can't wait to get rid of my psoriasis for the first time in 17 years read more

I had a cyst on my face removed by Dr George and right after her nurse removed the stitches, the now a hole the size of a pea has been bleeding and oozing clear fluid ever since. I called the office to ask what to do and the nurse told me to continue applying vaseline to the area. After a closer look I can see stitches still attached to the infected area! I give it a 7-8 days and call back to make an appointment to have the Dr repair the open wound. They give me a appointment for approximately a week later and four hours before my appointment the office calls me to reschedule($50 if you do that) for a week later. I show up for the appointment 30 early and I'm asked to pay $100 since it's now been 30 day. I have more then enough money to pay but why would I pay another $100 on top of the $750 in cash I've already paid? I honestly don't know how you sleep at night knowing you left someone in worse shape then when they came into your office. read more
