It seemed unusual that he was concerned about sharing his last name when basic information is generally accessible today. The conversation became a bit confusing when he compared providing his last name to being asked for a Social Security number, which didn't seem relevant to the situation. Overall, the interaction felt awkward and left me uncertain about the level of professionalism. For someone in a service-oriented role, clearer communication and a more straightforward approach would have made the experience much better. Based on my experience, I would suggest being cautious if you're considering hiring him. I also noticed in other reviews that some people mention interactions becoming difficult and that other problems occur when he is doing repairs.

I messaged MCA on Yelp on a Wednesday morning to get service on my washer. Joshua called me promptly to set up service for Friday 9am-11am window. $85 service fee for showing up that would go toward the repair if they do it. Cool. Seems fair. 11:20 on Friday rolls around and they have no-showed and no-called. I called them and left a message. Joshua calls me back promptly and apologizes. Joshua claimed he wrote my number down for the appointment wrong (weird because he called me to set up the appointment and I gave him my number on Yelp messenger) and a technician had arrived at my house to do the service. He further claimed they called the wrong number several times to contact me, then realized it was the wrong number when they were called back by that phone number. I informed Joshua that my front door camera never showed a technician arriving at the door or even in front of my house. I asked why they would not have arrived and knocked. He stated the technician was in the area, but never actually arrived at the house (duh, I have cameras). Anyway, we rescheduled for a 12-2pm time block and he said he'd call the technician to turn around and head to my house. Sooooooo, I wasted 2.5 more hours of my day waiting for a technician that never came. No phone call either. Jokes on me I guess. There went 5hrs of my day that I took off work to get my washer fixed. Time is money! Bottom line: I'm not wasting my time with this company. I'll take my business elsewhere.
