Our 6 year old LG washing machine was leaving grime all over our clothes and I figured it needed to be cleaned. We tried a lot of things that didn't work. We also got our homeowner warranty company to send out a technician that said everything was working properly. I read the reviews about the drum cleaning so I called this company. Paul said I should consider buying a new machine, because the cleaning service is very time intensive and detailed and quoted me a price that's about 1/2-1/3 the cost of a similar machine. My issue was that I never seen the technician( owner) pull out my washer and check behind it. To see if the hoses were clogged or anything like that. I've only had this stackable a couple of years so it's in good shape. He said it's the motherboard and gave an expensive price for parts and labor. It wasn't worth the $69 visit and I will get a second opinion because all he did was give it a test wash which worked perfectly. So do I really need a motherboard? Waste of my money. read more
