We did feel 12 bags of self leveling concrete was excessive when it looked like it was only used on a few corners of the room in a job less than 900 sq feet. Unfortunately one of the stair nosing broke within a couple weeks of install. Rafi was responsive in redoing the stairs stating it was a manufacturing defect and that the new version is stronger. Unfortunately the second team quality of work was very poor. They left holes in our walls that were patched poorly with plaster. Worst of all the stairs were apparently nailed to the subfloor and after a few weeks they started to rise leaving little holes and nails protruding from the floor. A few of the stair noses are loose as well. At this point, Rafi became unresponsive to have the flooring fixed. We ended up getting some of our money back through our credit card after months went by but the majority of the payment was by check. Basically we will need to replace the stairs again on our own dime. Buyer beware! Lifetime warranty doesn't mean anything if the installer ghosts you.

Since we were on a tight construction schedule, they were also able to get us on the calendar quickly. They even gave us great advice on how to pack and store everything from our garage while the work was being completed. This 4 star review is just for the tile installation as everything else was lowkey a nightmare. We had talked about everything we need done in our restroom and Julio said it's possible. First day, one of his guys shows up and had no idea what we wanted and said some requests were impossible so he went home and more guys came back the next day. There was a huge miscommunication with every person that has shown up to our home, with guys even not coming at all unless I called Julio. We had asked for the tub to get new caulking and silicone and were under the assumption that he would remove the old one, dry it out, reinstall, etc. but he just added a new layer on top. By the 4th day of this I knew no one was coming so I ended up finding other contractors. They also hooked up the pipes in our vanity and the hot and cold water are swapped, and it started leaking. Sadly I feel like I was naïve to think one flooring company can do everything I requested and the work should have been split between other contractors.
