I brought my niece and nephew to Great Wolf Lodge for the night, and we were looking for something good to eat nearby. After a quick Google search, Ercole's popped up, and it was only about 7 minutes away. Located in a small shopping strip, this quaint little shop instantly gives you all the New York vibes. The gentleman who took our order was incredibly patient, friendly, and hospitable. Customer service was a perfect 10/10. We ordered cheesesteaks and fries, and when our food was ready, he personally brought it to our table along with some complimentary bruschetta for us to try. Let me tell you, the bread they make for that bruschetta was absolutely amazing, the roasted tomatoes and fresh herbs absolutely woke up your taste buds with every bite. 10/10. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I'll definitely be stopping by tomorrow before heading home to grab more. The cheesesteaks were packed full and incredibly flavorful an easy 9/10. The fries were delicious too, and the portions were very generous. Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. If you're staying near Great Wolf Lodge or just passing through Perryville, I highly recommend giving Ercole's a try. Wait a minute...I wasn't familiar with your game but I surely learned...was looking for an ev charging station but then realized I needed lunch. Ercoles pizza sits at the opposite end of the Hollywood casino (maybe 8 min)...somehow I found there specials scrolling through the photos...a wiseman once told me if you want to rate a pizza place you have to try the cheese pizza...I called on the phone and made a pickup order up order for two cheese slice combos..:I showed up 10'minutes later and my order was packaged and ready. Wow. Just wow. Spent the day in Havre de grace, and was headed to a pizza chain when I happened to look this spot up. Food was fresh, well cooked, and made with care. Steak and cheese were amazing and excellent portions for a "small". Bruschetta bread was a meal in and of itself. Service was fast, friendly, and you can tell it's family owned and operated. We didn't really want to spend an exorbitant amount of money at dinner (we already had lunch at the lodge), so we did a quick search of restaurants nearby. Ercole's popped up. Ordered Pepperoni Pies from them on 2 seperate occasions, one with an Italian Special sub. Both times; the service was timely, I never had to wait at the register, the shop was always cleaned and well-kept. The Italian Special sub is one of the better subs I've had in a while. There's nothing I would change about it, if you're into Italian subs. Highly recommend. Their pizzas are on the thinner side, but authentic. We ordered takeout from here while staying at Great Wolf Lodge. When I arrived to get our food, I was surprised to see about 5 older gentlemen working whom all appeared to be related. And they were! Not only that, but they are all from Italy. They told me that they've been in business at this location for 27 years, and now I know why! We ordered a plain cheese pizza and a ham and Turkey sub. The pizza was absolutely delicious; thin, crispy crust with a great cheese and sauce flavor combination. The sub was PACKED with meat and cheese. The food is good and the customer service. The only thing that is pretty odd to me is that one day through slices, one being pepperoni and a Pepsi is $11.13. Come in on another day it's $11.66. Not sure if it's just me but it doesn't up some red flags. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. Very good sub. I ordered the Italian Special. This is Italian meats, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a soft hoagie roll from Liscio's. The roll was soft and chewy and did a nice job yielding to and complementing the sandwich filling. The meats were all fresh, well-portioned, and adequately shaved to nicely chewable thinness. The veggies were fresh. The provolone cheese was also thinly sliced and tasty. My one gripe was that the sandwich was slightly too acidic (vinegar) and lacked enough fat (mayo/bologna). Had they improved the fat/acid balance and added red hots instead of banana peppers (distract too much from the mouthfeel), this could be a very excellent submarine. read more

Placed my order over the phone for pickup. I get there and there's a crew of roughly 5 Italian (speaking) men. Ordered pizza, crab cakes and fries. Took it back to the room. Still nice and hot. Delicious pizza! Couldn't be happier to have had it and will probably get another round of it before we leave. We are staying at great wolf lodge and this is way better than the junk they are serving there(cheaper too). Only 9 minutes away but def worth the drive.
