Dr. Yavrouian is great! I was advised by a different ENT office to try a ClariFix procedure to mitigate my chronic rhinitis. I appreciate that Dr. Yavrouian had my best interests in mind and advised against ClariFix for several reasons, one being the painful brain freeze that comes after the procedure. After a few appointments in preparation, Dr. Yavrouian performed the RhinAer procedure. Though the procedure was quite unpleasant, I felt I was in competent, skilled hands. I highly recommend having someone drive you or at least meet you to be with you after the procedure. You will need to manage your body however it reacts. My body bled profusely. Chronic rhinitis was diminishing my quality of life, one tissue at a time. I had tissues in every jacket, pant, and shorts pocket. Tissues all over the house and car. It was really disruptive, especially in the cold and/or during exercise. Try participating in life with a faucet turned on, constantly flowing out of your nose. Not fun. I now use 1 dose per day of Atrovent, and my nose faucet is off. Before RhinAer, I needed 3-5 doses per day. I am grateful for the huge quality of life upgrade I received from Dr. Yavrouian. I first went to Dr. Yavrouian a few years ago when my former ENT passed away. I had years of problems with my sinuses. I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Yavrouian in August of 2022. I initially came in wanting my deviated septum fixed and my nose straightened. I asked the surgeon if he recommended a small tip refinement to reduce the bulbosity of my nose, as I had spoken to another surgeon who highly recommended against it. Dr. Yavrouian encouraged it and also recommended dorsal hump removal and deprojection. In retrospect I wish I had declined his suggestions. As you can tell from my pre and post op photos, trusting this doctor was a huge mistake. I don't believe this doctor has an aesthetic eye whatsoever as he left me with an even more crooked, deformed nose when my nose was nearly perfect before. I literally cannot stand to look at myself or take photos anymore; this has been the single most traumatic experience of my life. The post op result looks nothing like the morph provided and the doctor was quite dismissive of my concerns at my 6 month post op appointment. I decided to stop going back and have been researching revision doctors ever since. Not only did I pay Dr. Yavrouian a substantial amount of money to ruin my nose, I now have to pay 3x that amount to get my nose fixed elsewhere. If I could give this man a negative 10 review, I would! He is rude, patronizing, condescending and unprofessional to a point of volatility. After 3 very hostile visits, I switched to Dr. Yun. I have been dealing with an excessively runny nose for a few years now. I went for a follow up 6mo ago. He came in asking me questions as if he didn't even know my chart and continues to tell me about my post-nasal drip. I clarify, I don't have pos-nasal drip, it's a runny nose. He quips back "Same thing" when it is not! He then wants to check in my nose, doesn't even prepare me or tell me to rest my head on the chair and just shoves the metal rod down my nose without me even supporting my head! The last visit was to review my CT scan. He tells me I have "sinus disease", I asked him what that is so I can research it, he ignores and just tells me it's a damn disease. I found out from Dr. Yun is merely sinutitis. He then proceeds to tell me I can do a dilation to clear my sinutitis or "freeze" my nerves which requires fixing my deviated septum first. I ask him how my passageway would stay clear after dilation bc wouldn't it just go back to the same size? He quips back, "this surgery has been around a long time for while because it works". That's not what I asked but whatever. So I ask how much the deviated septum surgery would be so I can compare cost of the dilation versus the surgery. He retorts "Well, what's your reason for doing it? Is it because of the money or to feel better?" I tell him I want to make an educated and informed decision based on all factors! He tells me it's not his job to look up medical codes so he has to ask the front manager or give me the codes to look up. So because of his whining, I just ask him to give me the codes and I'd look it up to which he complains "Not everything is that easy. it's going to take our front office a while to get you the codes." If I wasn't a mature adult, I would have literally started an argument with him right then and there. Like "What the hell is your problem?!?!" All the questions I asked are thoughtful and educated. I'm not asking dumb questions because I'm an idiot. I'm an educated adult that likes to make informed decisions! He is the absolute WORST! Save your time and see Dr. Yun or someone else. read more

I could not have had a better experience than Dr. Yavrouian!! After being referred to him for another issue and getting a multiple year long ear related issue taken care of within minutes, I decided to book a consultation for a possible rhinoplasty/septoplasty and I never looked back. Dr. Eric Yavrouian is the Surgeon to go to. During my consultation, I immediately told the doctor, nose surgery is the one surgery I don't like and am not looking forward to even though I need one. Dr. Yavrouian was able to just take a minute and talk to me about the process and how everything will be okay. He explained step by step the process, outcomes, and recovery time. He did not brag about himself, which I liked, but informed me about his certifications from not only being a cosmetic surgeon but an MD to help with my breathing. He informed me on how he will not limit himself on just finishing the job in a time crunch but will take as much time in the surgery room to make sure the work is done right! He did tell me during the consultation what is truly possible and what is not, instead of just doing the work then being surprised (I will say I have seen other doctors before Dr. Yavrouian and that was not something that was talked about). The surgery itself was better than I expected! Swelling and bruising were not as bad, and the pain level was low to none. Even friends and family who saw me during the recovery were surprised! The outcome of my nose made me speechless! The work done was clean and looks like no work was really done natural look! This outcome was the way my nose should have always looked. Every follow-up after was smooth. Taking the cast off, Dr. Yavrouian explained step by step, what to expect. If I seemed to be in any discomfort or pain while taking stitches out or the supports in my nostrils, he would stop and ask if everything is okay and how I am feeling. I never felt uncared for. Even with my second appointment, Dr. Yavrouian's nurse was supposed to assist me but he asked to reschedule to make sure he was in the office to check on my states and no one else. I do not even know how to start this review. I had been struggling a lot for a few years with my breathing. I was having difficulties breathing just overall, it started to get progressively worse as time went by. I went to a few doctors, got tests done about "things" I could possibly have, nothing. I went to a new doctor and he noticed that my septum was deviated and that was causing all the problems, he referred me to an ENT, but after doing research on the ENT I did not feel comfortable to go there, so I did my search and found Dr Yavrouian. I had to go thru a process of getting a referral, etc, but it was all well worth it. On my first visit he explained to me all the complications of a deviated septum, he proceeded to explain what would work best for me and gave me my options. I had to drive a long way (way out of my way), after being put off (having appointments changed, etc.) for over a month; let me say this - it was NOT worth it at all. This doctor made me feel as if the radiologist who performed/diagnosed my ultrasound, and my dermatologist, and Primary Care Physician were all ignorant. They all expressed concerned about my ultrasound results and suggested to get it checked out as some 'abnormality' was being shown. He barely looked at me, practically told me that the ultrasound wasn't a big deal at all..had an attitude to the point where I had to say -:"I do not wish to argue with you". I felt uncomfortable and he made me feel 'small'. If you want somebody with compassion, this is NOT the one; somebody who expresses interest and care, this is NOT the one. I heard he prefers patients he performs plastic surgery on rather than looking at an ultrasound..guess my concerns weren't "big" enough for this medical officer. Also his assistant was very stern with me and treated me like a 'statistic', not as a person. This office could give one the chills as it has a cold and unfeeling atmosphere. After not knowing I got a deviated septum from my sister on a Mothers Day celebration in Las Vegas (to make the story short), I started snoring in my sleep. I've had a deviated septum for many years due to fractures and my breathing was compromised due to it. My nose was very crooked and I was very self conscious of that. I saw a couple of ENT's and they told me they couldn't help me because I had a lot of scar tissue and that I needed a specialist. I was referred to Dr. Yavrouian by luck and from the moment I met him, I knew he was it. Dr. Yavrouian made me feel comfortable and he answered all of the 1000 questions I had.
