Dr. Yavrouian and his team are top-notch in plastic surgery and non-surgery in L.A. He and his staff aim to correct any procedures so it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and for form and function. The office keeps everything in order and is a spotless, clean office.

    Post op with Yavrouian

I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Yavrouian in August of 2022. I initially came in wanting my deviated septum fixed and my nose straightened. I asked the surgeon if he recommended a small tip refinement to reduce the bulbosity of my nose, as I had spoken to another surgeon who highly recommended against it. Dr. Yavrouian encouraged it and also recommended dorsal hump removal and deprojection. In retrospect I wish I had declined his suggestions. As you can tell from my pre and post op photos, trusting this doctor was a huge mistake. I don't believe this doctor has an aesthetic eye whatsoever as he left me with an even more crooked, deformed nose when my nose was nearly perfect before. I literally cannot stand to look at myself or take photos anymore; this has been the single most traumatic experience of my life. The post op result looks nothing like the morph provided and the doctor was quite dismissive of my concerns at my 6 month post op appointment. I decided to stop going back and have been researching revision doctors ever since. Not only did I pay Dr. Yavrouian a substantial amount of money to ruin my nose, I now have to pay 3x that amount to get my nose fixed elsewhere. I highly recommend not choosing this surgeon to operate on your face. My photos speak for themselves (photo with makeup was pre-op, photo without makeup was post-op.

Top=Before. After=Bottom. Look at that difference! Wow!

This review for Dr. Battaglia is long overdue…read more Dr. Battaglia was referred to me after I consulted another doctor (for something else entirely). My first appointment, I think it took me like... 2 to 3 months before I actually got to see Dr. Battaglia (found out why later). I figured it maybe worth it as my problem has been with me most of my life and I kind of refuse to be a mouth breather any further. When my appointment finally came, my first meeting was with his assistant (sorry I forgot your name) but I got to describe my problem and basically it has been a life long problem of mine. After listening for a bit, she proceeded to basically numb my nose so he can be seen with a small little camera. That is already far better than what my other ENT doctor has done by the way. While the little camera was snaking its way up both of my nostrils, I realized quickly that, I don't think it should be... FEELING it snake like that. When that was done, the assistant (not PA, actual assistant) showed me the video and I saw the problem with my own eyes. Can't really breathe normally when your nasal passage is touching (turbinate's) and other areas were so narrow it was not ideal. I was told to wait a little bit before Dr. Battaglia came, and when he did come in. We exchanged greetings, I did my best to explain things again but he took a look himself, even though the video was there. He said some medical terms that went completely over my head but I already know the gist of the problem I been having (since i just saw it). I know my parents, both have an issue similar to this (not sure how bad) but it was clear to me, at least for my case, it is a genetic problem. Was then given two options, keep doing what I been doing with over-the-counter medication (which was doing barely anything) or have surgery to correct my issue. Septoplasty and turbinate reduction. I agreed to the surgery on the spot, despite not knowing the risks or cost involved because I am way over dealing with not being able to breathe through my nose. Had one pre-op appointment (back in late December, 2025) which was brief. Dr. Battaglia said the operation is pretty straight forward (as he has done this plenty of times I'm sure). There is reason why he takes so long to visit because half of the week, he is doing surgery. Currently three and a half months post-surgery (end of January, 2026. Review for that is posted) and so far, I cannot be happier considering I been able to breathe like a normal person for once. First week was definitely a bit of a pain. Just what I been experiencing most of my like times two. It was that annoying but so far, it has been worth it. I am glad I went through with it. My other ENT doctor was no where as descriptive or helpful. Taking constant over the counter medication for obstruction in your nose is not a solution. Having a video to see for certain the problems I been dealing with all my life is a good way to tell me that what my other ENT doctor suggested was never going to work as my issue goes far deeper. Now, the surgery doesn't resolve my allergy problem but that's another story. If you ever need any advice, having actual proof shown to you by the doctor is always the best. So you can make your own decision.

I delighted to share that my entire experience with the members of the facility was excellent. After I scheduled my appointment I immediately received a confirmation. Ongoing communication was provided up to the day of the appointment. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was met with a big smile and a warm welcome greeting by a receptionist. To my surprise and pleasure, the waiting room was not crowded. It was obvious that scheduled appointment times were respected. My wait time was short and I was quickly escorted to a room. The medical assistants greeted me warmly, and prepared the session for the doctor. I met with Dr. Jordan Sukys. He put me at ease from the time he entered the room, and provided stellar patient service through out the appointment. He reviewed my information, not only engaged me in communication but actually listened to me. He conducted a thorough evaluation, clearly shared the results, answered all my questions and identified a plan of action. Dr. Sukys really cares about his patients well being, which was reflected in the direction of the plan he set for me which includes further investigation of my issues. None of that, common day, nice to meet you, time for surgery stuff. I am grateful that I was referred to this facility and have Dr. Sukys as my doctor. I look forward to future appointments. I am confident that I will receive some answers and appropriate medical assistance in addressing my issues. I must also acknowledge the medical assistants who supported Dr. Sukys during the medical evaluation. Their caring bed side manner was appreciated. Kudos to Dr. Sukys, his assistive team, and the front desk service team for making my first appointment with the facility a positive one.

Meanwhile, I witness the receptionist speak in a condescending tone to a patient whose first language wasn't English and I decided to intervene. When I was finally seen, I had already self diagnosed myself with BPPV, and all the assistant did was agree with me. No input whatsoever! I had to ask him about his level of confidence on the diagnosis for something Chat GPT already told me, yet he replied "I'm pretty confident." No percentage of confidence. No explanation on why he thought so. Just a vacant and rote response. It's a sad day when your job can be replaced by AI folks, and the time hath arrived. I even had to ASK the assistant to look in my ears and let me know if he saw any signs of infection. I do not recommend this facility at all. There was zero interest or investigation in my health. I LUCKILY made an appointment with NeuroSport Physical Therapy, and Nicole Cozby who was a vestibular specialist ran SEVERAL physical tests on me. She was determined to at least TRY and understand what the heck was happening with me. As it turns out, I did NOT have BPPV and I had a vestibular migraine, which I've been treating with exercises, and have since felt much better. In any case, if you have vertigo or suspected BPPV, I would not go here, because they didn't even test me for it.

She advised me that she would give me a call some days before my appointment to let me know how much I would need to pay at my appointment after she would speak with my insurance company. Today is Monday and I still hadn't received a call so I called myself to ask what info she had. She advised that she didn't have any info and I responded that I was told I would get info beforehand. She explained that she would call the day of my appt and started getting an attitude. She became rude and started going off about how she's so busy and doesn't have time for this. I am starting my journey to fix certain health issues at an ENT and I'm not sure how long I'll have to be coming into this office. Getting this type of response so early on, I knew I wouldn't be able to even come in to a hostile environment where the priority is not of people's health and where they're already showing a lack of empathy. Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. I ultimately told the receptionist that she could cancel my appointment.

I was a patient here and underwent a surgical procedure that caused me significant pain immediately afterward. Even after a full year of repeatedly reporting my pain, discomfort, and a terrible aesthetic result--including a visible bulge in my abdomen--I was consistently dismissed. I was told everything was "fine" and that there was nothing wrong. I was the one who had to push for an ultrasound, which ultimately led to a misdiagnosis and the conclusion that nothing could be done. A year and a half later, my suffering had not stopped, so I sought second opinions from other providers. Both of them immediately recognized the diagnosis. It is, unfortunately, a known and relatively common complication of the type of surgery I had. The fact that my original doctor never acknowledged this possibility was deeply concerning. This experience has caused significant psychological stress, ongoing physical pain, missed work, and additional medical procedures. I have now had to take more time off to undergo corrective surgery, I am left with a permanent scar that would never have existed otherwise, and I have spent thousands of dollars out of pocket to repair the damage with a different doctor. What is most upsetting is that I did go back to the original provider, explained the correct diagnosis, and requested a refund based on what happened. I was told that I had received a "beautiful result," despite the clear physical deformity and the painful complication that had been overlooked for over a year. My concerns were dismissed, minimized, and ultimately ignored. At this point, I have no choice but to warn others about how complications may be handled here if something goes wrong with your procedure. I am also now forced to pursue board complaints and legal action, which is something I never wanted to do. I genuinely tried to resolve this directly. No response they leave on this review will change how this situation was handled.
