I suffered a broken nose due to tripping on a cracked sidewalk on South Pasadena. Huntington Hospital suggested Dr. Laksman as a plastic surgeon that could reset my nose. I understand he specializes in hands and wrists but I'm very happy to have had him as my nose surgeon. My son was able to get an appointment with his office within a day after being released from the hospital. He assessed the break and said he could perform surgery (mainly moving the nose back into piace) and then applying a "cast" for a week. He did that and removed the cast today. Although it's still tender, my "nose job" is done and together with nose exercises five times a day hope it stays this way, I'm good to go. No more trips/falls for me. March 2, 2019 I was walking on the treadmill in my garage. I opened the garage door half way to smell the rain. I tied up my 2 year old Pit Bull because she is a runner and left my 14 year old Boxer loose because it's hard for her to even get up anymore. Well someone walked by with their dog and my Boxer decided to charge them. She wouldn't have done anything but startle the owner and that is exactly what she did because I wasn't able to catch her before the garage door slammed me to the ground. I didn't duck low enough and the metal part on the bottom of the garage door sliced my forehead open to the skull. When Dr. Tang arrived to the emergency room his presence brought me peace even under the traumatic circumstances I was in. He looked at my head and simply told me I was going to be okay. My mother had a double eyelid surgery on 12/22/2022 at Lawton W Tang Clinic 125 N. Raymond Ave. Pasadena ca 91103. 26 days after the operation, my mother's eyes appeared obvious large and small eyes, and the two eyes were asymmetrical. And had very deep eye sockets, so we did a second repair in his clinic on 1/18/2023, after the operation, there were two scars on the eyes, scar hyperplasia, nerve problems in the eyes, and then my mother on 2/8 In 2023, the third repair was done, and there was an obvious gap in the closed eyes. De. Tang doesn't listen to his patients. I had a breast implant replacement. When my husband and I went to meet him I told him I want to go up a size bigger on my breast, I used the words big and fake. After surgery I still wear the same bra size as I did before my surgery my breast look the same as before, saggy and small. I would not recommend him to anyone. read more

I had a breast augmentation with a famous doctor in Orange County 6 years ago (Dr. Nguyen). He did a terrible job- One of my breasts were larger than the other, one nipple was slightly higher than the other and worst of all, my left breast implant actually fell into my armpit whenever I laid down. I hated them for years and wouldn't let anyone touch them especially because you could both see and feel the implants. I've heard of Dr. Tang and finally scheduled to see him in June. I had a consult with him and immediately noticed a difference in the amount of professionalism and care I was provided compared with other plastic surgeons I've gone to. He really took the time to answer all of my questions and make me feel comfortable. He also measured me which surprisingly my other breast aug surgeon didn't bother to do which I guess is why they weren't even. The days before surgery, I got calls from him, his assistant Marie and the anesthesiologist. I felt very cared for! I've seen multiple doctors for different procedures and never experienced such a high level of care prior to this. On the day of surgery, I flew in and went directly from the airport to his surgery center. Afterwards, I took a short nap and woke up feeling a little drowsy but great! It was not painful at all. By the next day, I was walking around and didn't even need my pain meds. There was hardly any bruising and my breasts and they already looked great. Dr. Tang made them larger, lifted one breast, fixed the pocket so that my implant would no longer fall into my armpit and also created cleavage for me since I had none even after my first boob job. They look AMAZING!!!! They feel like real breasts! You can't tell that there's an implant in them at all. I LOVE them and have received so many compliments on them. Everyone keeps asking where I got them done. What is amazing is that I always thought a breast augmentation would just give you a larger version of what you already have. This is true with most plastic surgeons... but a talented surgeon like Dr. Tang can actually reconstruct your breasts to not only make them larger but better looking than they were before. I always had to use a pushup bra to achieve cleavage even after my first breast aug.... now they are lifted higher so there perkier and are also closer together- the cleavage is always there - I never have to wear another push up bra ever again! Dr. Tang is simply amazing. Although he is a plastic surgeon, I had a hand infection that was getting worse day by day with immense pain and discomfort. I went to two other doctors and they could not figure out what was wrong despite all the testing I went through. I had my breast augmentation done 2 months ago with Dr. Tang. I've never heard of him until my friend told me he was a good doctor in the Pasadena area. I live in San Francisco so going down south to get my procedure is something I have to carefully consider as there is additional cost involved since I am not home. The first time I met with Dr Tang, I also met with Marie his wonderful assistant. The initial meeting was about 1 hour and he explained all the options there is possible for this procedure. Dr. Tang deserves 5 stars as we seen him for a consultation and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. However, the 1 star is for his staff. We were given a quote 20 days ago and today when my husband called to schedule the appointment they raised the price by 20% stating, "The price on the quote given was promotional." When my husband asked what the promotion was for the woman by the name of Eva didn't even know. When we were given the estimate the day of the consultation, Marie who is Dr Tang's assistant specifically said, "When you are ready give us a call and we can make the payment over the phone and will schedule you." Never once did the Dr or Marie mention about a promotional price or an expiration of the quote, nor did they say it had to be paid that same day to receive that price. I am a national TV sports broadcaster. Dr Tang saved my face and ultimately my career! I was thrown off a racehorse and whilst on the ground the horse stepped on my face. I broke my jaw on impact and the horse's shoe lacerated my face on my jawline. The cut was so deep it severed 2 facial nerves below my bottom lip rendering that area of my face paralyzed. A few (hopefully not many) licensed professionals will 'sell' their licenses, allowing unethical, shoddy businesses to dupe people into believing they are entrusting themselves and their money to a 'medical' facility; Dr. Tang is the front puppet for Midas Medical Group and this place is the furthest place from being medically inclined or trained! Group of Korean ladies that speak approximately 3 words of English and lack training in every aspect-business, medical, ethics, speech, professionalism, courtesy-have none of it. Went in for Bellafill and after paying (and informed of the no refund policy), learned that the receptionist would be performing the procedure and no medical professional would be present?! Procedure was horribly painful especially on my left cheek-no care whatsoever was spoken of before, during, and after-went home and pain increased. Took Advil PM and awoke to left eye swollen almost completely shut, veins on my left cheek protruding, black and blue and swollen with limited movement. Went to work amidst looks of shock and was encouraged to see my doctor right away and during the visit, my doctor confirmed the receptionist at Midas had struck a nerve! Called her as soon as I returned and in lieu of expressing an ounce of concern, questioned my doctor's experiences and in lieu of asking that a picture of my face be sent, insisted that I send pictures of prescribed medications (is she a doctor or is she more knowledgeable than a doctor or does she doubt me or my doctor?). Spoke to the office manager as well (aka-dragon lady) and she was the epitome of unprofessionalism, uneducated vulgarity in speech as well as mannerism! When I asked why a medical professional had not been present, she yelled in a shrill like tone that Dr. Tang would see me now. To make matters worse, I called from my office, did not realize that they had recording device and they continously called to my work introducing themselves as Midas Medical(if I wanted to be contacted at my place of employment, I would have provided the number on my forms).
