    My new happy place!!!

This place is still the gold standard for how a classic Maine lobster roll is supposed to be done in my opinion. No lettuce, no fancy rolls, no celery, etc. Just super fresh lobster meat with the barest amount of mayonnaise on a butter grilled top split hotdog bun. Absolute perfection. Their onion rings are great, too. Super thin, crispy and pleasantly a bit greasy. Tastes like summer!!

First it's a nice spot to sit down and eat after a hike or exploring this scenic place. It was clean and welcoming. The lady came out and got our order and was very helpful. I ordered the seafood chowder after it was highly recommended. It did not disappoint. It was meaty and flavorful. I only did the cup but it was enough to satisfy the hunger.

What a super cute ride it was off route 1 into Harpswell. Ericas overlooks Casco Bay. We got there right when they opened and only waited 15 minutes for a lobster roll, scallop roll and fried shrimp platter. Everything was perfect. In my top 5 lobster rolls Ive had in Maine.

There are so many lobster shacks and we're glad we picked Erica's. First thing to note, it's cash only, so be prepared. Also, do like the locals and bring your own drinks--we didn't know that we'd be buying drinks from a vending machine and wished we had brought some. We got a Lobster Roll, two fried baskets, and the Lobster Melt. The service staff was very patient as we tried to navigate the menu. We had to wait a little bit for the food, but it didn't seem overly long. The lobster roll was great--just lobster and butter, warm, which is my preference. The fried scallops were the big hit among the fried things, but the whole belly clams, shrimp, and oysters were delicious too. It was pretty foggy, so we didn't get an expansive view, but we enjoyed sitting outside with our food. We would go back, next time with more cash and drinks!

Oh, so very, very good! We ordered fried shrimp basket and a haddock basket. Both were so fresh - coleslaw was great, and we had amazing French fries and onion rings. Best part? We sat in the sun with a lovely bottle of white wine - perfect with the seafood - and since you can bring your own, it is easy to have an affordable lunch. Sitting in the sun, yummy fresh food, and a view that keeps going. The staff is wonderful - helpful and nice. Note that if you do go, take cash!

Waited an hour to get food. The place is pretty overlooking the water. Service was friendly and helpful. Food is mediocre at best not worth the wait. I have been to many seafood shacks around Maine and this doesn't do anything special for me Bring your own drinks because they own have a vending machine for Pepsi products

One of the best baked lobster rolls I've had. Large sweet meaty chunks on a toasted bun. Tried with butter on the side and honestly didn't add anything. - go naked! Clam chowder had the most clam strips and chunks - not diced - I've seen in a chowder. If I had to take anything off it's for the chowder broth itself was being a little watery for my taste. Great location and great staff. A top shack to visit!!

If you're ever in the Portland (Maine) area, you MUST make your way to Erica's Seafood!!! It's about an hour drive from Portland and has the most kick ass ! As of Sept 2021, it'll cost you $9/lb for live lobster, and the best part is you get it straight from the fisherman! Toby, who is in charge of selecting and steaming your lobster, is super chill and nice. The experience is super awesome, and it's the best lobster I've ever had. It's so fresh that you can eat it straight up without adding anything (ie butter) FYI - you can enjoy the beautiful view while you enjoy your lobster! See pictures!!

Undoubtedly the worst clam chowder I have ever had! It was watery and tasteless. Waste of money.

I never mentioned that our waitress was also as good the food, I believe her name was Tanner she was so helpful, sweet and had a great mannerism too , I also made it a point to tell her coworkers to tell their manager of how great our waitress was, it's hard nowadays to find someone who goes above and beyond doing her job, 5 stars for your work .. Thanks Again Cooks we love coming back to this area. Certainly worth the visit.. you'll all thank me later, Noel

We ordered the seafood combo basket with haddock, scallops, clams, shrimp, and onion rings, along with a lobster roll. The seafood combo was definitely generous in portion size--there was a lot of food--but unfortunately, quantity couldn't make up for the lack of quality. The haddock was dry and completely lacked flavor. The scallops were overcooked and tough, and the shrimp were tiny and tasted like frozen, pre-packaged shrimp. Even the onion rings were disappointing--they were overly greasy, and the batter had virtually no seasoning or flavor. The lobster roll was a decent size, but it also lacked the flavorful taste you'd expect. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't memorable or worth recommending. We spent over $90 for what turned out to be a less than mediocre lunch. The atmosphere didn't help either. The inside dining area was warm and uncomfortable. They have a beautiful rooftop deck with an amazing view, but there's no canopy or shade, making it difficult to enjoy on a sunny day. The metal stools become hot in the sun and have no backs, so they're uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes. Overall, this place has a great location and beautiful views, but the food and dining experience simply didn't justify the price.
