Took my new puppy to some other groomer in The Valley with way too many dogs and 2 people working the floor. They had her for over 6 hours and when I got her back she had a cut under her eye right on the line. They didn't say anything when I picked her up and I paid $60 and she was lethargic for hours and almost seemed depressed. The next time, I took her to Erick's, not only did they have very few dogs and seemed to operate at a level that was manageable, everyone there seems as though the LOVE what they do. I picked her up within 2-3 hours and she looked BEAUTIFUL exactly what I asked for and professional cut. She was happy and so was I. I haven't taken her anywhere else since. Erick's Pet Grooming business is not responsible, I had to call several times to try to get ahold of them which was almost impossible. When I was given an appointment for the following week I was called the day of being told to reschedule for the following day, when the next day comes around I received a text for another cancelation. I understand things happen but if he has a business, he needs to run it like one. Meaning, he should have other workers take over if he becomes unavailable. Apparently its not the first time he cancels on his clients. Maybe he continues to cancel on me because the very first thing he told me when I spoke to him was that he didn't want to take senior dogs (which my dogs are). I never serviced my dogs here and I will not return. I can find a better place to take my senior pups. If you want a reliable place, go someplace else. read more

They were very friendly. 1st time there and was very pleased with the grooming for my 2 little pugs. He explained how he trimmed the nails for my little pug not to bleed that's usually an issue when grooming her. When we arrived both of my girls were calm. My shy girl even curled up with the assistant and my loud girl actually stayed calm. Hands down the best groomers in the valley! I've gone to places in North Hollywood to Lake Balboa and practically every groomer in between and NONE compare to Erik's. Definitely a hidden gem in the valley. My boyfriend scheduled an appointment on Wednesday morning for the 4 of our dogs (2 Frenchies, 1 Lab, 1 Toy Poodle) to be showered and groomed. Come Wednesday, we brought in our dogs and after a quick consultation they promptly began to work on all our dogs. After a couple hours, we received a phone call that our dogs were ready. As soon as we arrived, our dogs were front and center. Looking very presentable and happy which is not very common especially since our dogs get anxiety at the groomers. Our dogs looked, felt and smelled great! They even offered to put a light spritz of perfume to keep them smelling clean longer. Erik's is the ONLY groomers that were able to really get the poodle cut properly on our toy poodle. They also have very affordable pricing on all their services. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. Definitely will be back. Also, make sure to set up an appointment ahead of time to secure a spot for your fur baby as slots tend to fill up quickly. read more

Love this place! I took my pup here for a hair cut and wash and she came back looking fabulous! I'm very particular about her hair cuts and they listened to exactly what I wanted and executed flawlessly! I really wanted to like this place and support local businesses, but I just don't understand the inconsistency of the hours of exactly when they're open. For instance, the hours online appear to say open but no one answers when I call. I leave a voicemail and no call back, then I call back again and it goes straight to voicemail. Another time, I called the day before and they said they will be open the next day for walk-ins. I get there, and they are closed. I tried calling and no answer. However, when I am lucky enough to get them to groom my dogs, they do a good job. If they could just have consistent business hours and a person to always answer the phone (during business hours), I would give 5 stars. read more
