He did the most perfect job in my opinion, and I feel so sexy, feminine, and confident in my new bralette. I'm also so glad I didn't go too big. At first, I wanted 480cc's, but a week before surgery, Dr. K suggested we go with 450cc's for the most natural, flattering look. Best decision ever! We went under the muscle with gummy implants, and the results are flawless. From start to finish, Dr. K has been amazing. He answers every single question I have -- whether it's over text, FaceTime, or in person. If I want to stop by the office, he gets me in right away. His bedside manner is unmatched, and I've felt 100% comfortable and cared for every step of the way. I had a consultation with a "famous" Instagram surgeon before choosing Dr. K, and honestly, there's no comparison. I'd…read morelike to start by saying that the office staff was always very kind. 360 TUMMY TUCK: 7/10 For the most part, I am still very happy with the tummy tuck procedure. I did have a complicated recovery with necrosis of the belly button, but you would not be able to tell now. My scars are alright, I've definitely seen much better... but I tattooed over mine anyway so it didn't matter much to me. However, during the consultation I made it a huge point that there was a part of my lower back that I was very unhappy with. Dr K documented and explained that it would be lipo'd and he would excise it if necessary. I have a scar in the area, but it looks like it wasn't touched AT ALL. Definitely no lipo in the area, just a normal tummy tuck scar, but it doesn't go all the way under the area of concern. So it looks like he left it untouched. When I brought this up at my several post op appointments, he told me to wait a year. After a year, he brushed it off. I am now left with this incredibly awkward small lump right above my butt crack that has left me incredibly insecure. BREAST IMPLANTS AND NIPPLE LIFT: 1/10 I already had breast tissue (about a 36 C) but deflated after weight loss. I really wanted to fill them back up and make them perky again. Because of how deflated they were, I was expecting to get a breast lift, which other surgeons also mentioned to me. During the consultation, Dr K was very adamant that he would NOT do a lift, because I was in my early 20's. His reasoning was that they would need to be redone after I had kids... so I told him that I do not plan to have children. He told me that I might change my mind - which is absolutely NOT for him to decide or even have a say in. He told me he could do a nipple lift on my right side and it would make them look even and perky without the lift. I trusted him. My nipple is now OVAL ladies. OVAL. Completely mismatched. Extremely embarrassing. I also have had rippling, it feels like the implants are underfilled. I can literally crunch the bags and you can see it. When I lay down, they go to the side completely and my chest is flat. When I bend forward, they droop and look absolutely disgusting. I was also very concerned about the left breasts shifting so much to the side when I work out, that it completely deforms and pulls the bag. He told me "you can't work out your chest." This was a YEAR after surgery. He literally said I cannot work out, and that was the answer. Six years later and I have extremely heavy, sagging implants that are weighing my chest down. My nipples fall over the crease of my breast, and it's extremely uncomfortable and they've made me feel so embarrassed. I am now having to save money to get the lift that I should have gotten 6 years ago, and hoping that another doctor can fix my nipple and the underlying damage. I will never get these past 6 years back (and the next few years that I spend saving up.) So I hope this saves someone else.

I've shown her a few highly edited photos of myself with my desired results. I originally chose Dr. Erb because her before / after results were the best I've seen. And after meeting with her via Zoom, I knew I'd found my Oculoplastic surgeon. She was extremely thorough during the interview, answering questions I've not even asked yet, and knew what I was going for. She went through the procedure with a fine-toothed comb, ensuring that I understood fully what to expect. Every question was answered, absolutely NOTHING was rushed. I felt extremely comfortable knowing I was in good hands. And Dr. Erb was so personable; I felt like I was the only patient in the world! On the day of surgery, I met with her staff, who were very accommodating, friendly and comforting (Gina is a riot!). They made me feel at ease before and after the surgery. Dr. Erb gave me some medication to induce sleep, and before I knew it, I was out. The procedure itself was pain-free. I was pretty groggy after surgery, and I can't remember too much. My healing from Day 0 was uneventful: no problems and no complications, just normal bruising and swelling, typical for someone my age. I'm pretty much a slow healer; I iced for the first week and a half to two weeks until I returned to Irvine for suture removal. The stitches were removed without a hitch (and felt amazing!), and now let the true healing begin! I'm now at one month+, and the results are incredible. The results look EXACTLY like my projected photos. I have zero complaints! I understand its only been a month, and my lids will continue to heal and de-swell. But if these results are any indication of what the final results will be, man oh man, I will re-name my first-born "Melanie"! Dr. Erb is extremely skilled in what she does, and she has great bedside manners. She truly listens to your wants and needs, and will do her best to keep you happy. Choosing Dr. Erb was a life-changing decision --- I can't recommend her enough!! I was always self-conscious of my eyes, and now I've never been happier. Unfortunately, I am still suffering from the results over 10 years later and cannot afford to repair the mistakes. I continue to have a double bubble issue on both breasts. After my first surgery, I experienced complications and developed a hematoma. I later went back in to fix the issues, but the outcome remained the same. What has been most difficult is that I was never offered a proper solution, revision support, or even a meaningful follow-up conversation about next steps. I paid over $8,000 for a surgery that has left me deeply insecure for more than a decade. I avoid bikinis, feel uncomfortable in my own body, and honestly feel heartbroken over the results. I have since consulted with other surgeons who explained that the implant placement was not done correctly, which likely contributed to the double bubble deformity and overall appearance. They also explained what would be required to repair the damage, but I simply cannot afford another $10,000 surgery. I am sharing this because, for years, I stayed quiet. I tried to be polite, not bother anyone, and even blamed myself. But now at 36, I've reached a breaking point and feel it's important to speak honestly about my experience. To be clear, this review has nothing to do with the hospitality of the staff or physicians at Irvine Dermatology. Everyone I have interacted with, including Dr. Koupaie, has been kind and pleasant during my visits. My concern is specifically with the organization and management of my Accutane treatment from beginning to end. I was already very anxious about starting Accutane because of the side effects and the strict and tedious process involved with obtaining the medication. Despite those concerns, I decided to move forward. At my first visit, I paid my copay, completed the required bloodwork, took a second pregnancy test in the office, and then attempted to pick up my prescription. At that point, I found out that my iPLEDGE account had not been properly set up by the office. Because my account could not be located in the system, my treatment was delayed by an entire month and I essentially had to start the process over again. This was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. As my treatment continued, I also noticed that during follow-up visits the medical assistants would frequently seem unsure about which month of treatment I was on or what dosage I was taking. I usually corrected the information myself and initially did not think much of it. Toward the end of treatment, however, the repeated confusion about which month I was on became concerning enough that I checked my own prescription history through my pharmacy. I discovered that I was already on my final month of the six-month treatment. I called the office to confirm, was told they would look into it, and later received a text confirming that my treatment was in fact complete. That is what concerned me the most. If I had not independently checked my prescription history and researched the medication myself, I could have continued under the impression that I still had additional months of treatment remaining. For a medication like Accutane, which requires close monitoring and has some pretty strong side effects, I find it alarming that these types of mistakes were made on a consistent basis. I am not writing this review out of malicious intent, and I want to reiterate that the staff has always been personally kind to me. However, the repeated discrepancies in my treatment history made me question the accuracy of the office's charting and how closely patient treatment plans are being tracked. Patients should be able to trust that their medical records, dosage, and treatment timeline are being monitored accurately without having to independently verify everything themselves. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and changes are made.
