My main concern was my smile lines and she was informative about the treatment and suggested me the areas I can be treated on my face that I didn't know I needed! The whole injection process was way more smooth and easy than I expected, Dr.Wei made sure the pain was as little as possible, and she was super professional, gentle and subtle on handling injecting, and her assistant was there the whole time helping me get distracted by needles and relax. I am beyond thrilled with these results only 1 month after my first Picosure Laser Treatment! In the photos I included, you can see my pre-treatment photo, my one month post-laser photo, and one picture with a full face of makeup on, so you can see how practically invisible my dark spots are now! On the day of the procedure, Dr. Wei and her professional staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone that works there was so lovely! I was asked to wash my face so they could apply a numbing cream to skin. After sitting that way for about 30 minutes, my face was nice and numb (kind of the same feeling as getting a filling on a tooth). The laser treatment itself took about 10 minutes and was painless! Although the machine has a bit of a rubber band snapping sound, the sensation on the skin just felt like very pinpointed heat - nothing unbearable nor uncomfortable. The rest of that day my skin was a nice pinky tone and warm to the touch. The next day, my dark spots were visibly deeper or darker in color than before, but Dr. Wei assured me that was all part of the process. I did experience mild dryness around my chin on day 3 and 4 post-procedure. After that, my skin was back to normal, I was wearing makeup again in 5 days, and my dark spots just kept getting lighter and lighter! Miraculous!!! I'm Mexican-American and always in the sun and was worried that due to my outdoor lifestyle and skin tone that this treatment wouldn't really work on me, but it really has and am so looking forward to seeing my results after an additional treatment! I went in for a consultation and really liked Dr. Wei and her staff, I wanted to make a follow-up appointment but the day I wanted was a holiday and they needed to verify that they were open so I left and the office staff said they would call me to confirm the appointment. They never called. I called two weeks later and was told that Marisol was busy but I would get a call back by the end of the day. I didn't. I called again the following week and was told they were doing some kind of training and that someone would call me back by the end of the day. I still haven't gotten a callback, I give up and wouldn't proceed with them anyway. You may want to consider spending your consultation fee on a more responsive office. Came into Wei Aesthetic a few weeks ago to try out PDO thread lifts. I was always curious to try and love that it is a nonsurgical procedure with minimal downtime. For those that's never heard of a PDO thread lift before, it's a nonsurgical facial rejuvenation procedure that passes threads beneath the surface of your skin, to lift the tissue and boost natural collagen production overtime. The procedure itself started off with numbing on the portions you were going to insert the PDO threads. I ended up doing the lower portion of my face to give more of a slim-v line look and the upper portion of my eyebrows to lift my hooded eyes. The founder Judy who did my procedure was extremely professional and I could tell she knew how to properly install them. She made sure I wasn't feeling too much discomfort when inserting the threads and always asked if I was doing ok. I was definitely swollen the first few days and my face felt extremely tight but luckily had minimal bruising and it wasn't too uncomfortable. It's already been a little over two weeks and I can definitely see a difference and there is barely if not any swelling left! If you are reading this, you are probably doing research about receiving some cosmetic service. My suggestion is to stay away from this clinic as far as you can. You can well spend your money somewhere else with other doctors or other clinics. When I started my scuplsure treatment with them, I thought oh, it's owned by a doctor, she should care about her patients. It turned out that I was so wrong. She cares more about money than her patients. So her sales lady talked me into signing the contract just like what they advertise, it's non-invasive and it can reduce body fat by up to 25%. Everything sounds so good! The reality is that I got Zero result. And the whole process was so painful that I had to take painkill pills and nitrous oxide gas to just get going. There were total 3 treatments. I expressed my concern after both treatments, but they didn't stop or alter my treatments. They just had me keep going. At the end, when we all saw there was no result, they put all the blame on me by telling me it didn't work for me because of my hormones and because I eat too much. I left their office with tears in my face. And of course they refused to give me any compensation. I felt my 3000+ dollars just went down to the drain. (BTW, I did check with hormones specialists afterward that there is nothing wrong with my hormones. And I have been watching my diet for years) So ladies and gentlemen, I hope that by sharing my painful experience with you is somewhat helpful. And remember to praise yourself everyday. For the past 5 years, I have been waking up on average two times during the night to use the bathroom. I also stopped running about 2 years ago due to incontinence issues. I actually won a 6-visit treatment from Wei Institute in November 2021 for urinary incontinence. It was a non-invasive treatment where you basically sit in a special chair with electromagnetic energy for 30 minutes a visit. I was highly skeptical but gave it a shot. I noticed a difference within the first week of treatment. I woke up only one time to use the bathroom during the night (instead of my normal two). By the second week, I slept through the night without having to go to the bathroom and instead woke up early in the morning, between 4-5 am, to go. By the end of the treatments, I was sleeping through the night and waking up around 6-6:30am. It has been over 4 months since my last treatment. I am still sleeping through most nights. Occasionally, around 2-3 times a month, I do wake up because I need to use the bathroom. But it's only once during the night.
