Today, five days later, since I had not heard from them, I called to check on the bike. They told me it was not ready and that it would be another 2 weeks. After some conversation they moved things up but the attitude over there is severely negative. Will definitely find another shop from here out.

I did not trust a residential mover to properly handle carbon bikes. So, I looked up Specialized dealers in MN and found these guys. They were wonderful to deal with from start to finish. They let me know when my bikes arrived, and again when the bikes were ready. They even held on to them for a few weeks until my apartment was ready for me to move in. They did an amazing job re-assembling my bike. Not that is incredibly hard to do, but everything was perfect. They even cleaned my bike and my components. Although I was a new customer, they treated me like a long time client. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Another Woodbury bike shop had quoted me several weeks of wait time for a repair. As soon as I brought it into the shop, a friendly gentleman behind the counter asked me what I needed fixed. He immediately took my bike back to the repair area, fixed my gear in minutes, and didn't even charge me for service! I will be coming back here for all my future bike repairs!

He simply bent down and begin to fix it for me as he told me it wasn't as big of an issue and he could probably fix it right there! He is a cashier it seemed but was willing to simply fix my problem without making me go through all of the red tape. He fixed it but noticed one of the pieces was bent. Then another gentleman by the name of Mike said from behind him that brake looks a little bent and he could fix it for only $20 if you want me to do it? I was so thrilled by the care and the concern that was given to me to see me get my bike fixed and back on the road! They said they would try to get to it today... And they did it within a few hours and called me and told me it was ready! Pedego electric bikes are definitely well built and solid. In fact the bicycle is better assembled…read morethan most competitors. The downside to me is price and weight. The bikes are (perhaps unsurprisingly) quite pricey and, though sturdy are also heavy and somewhat unwieldy. The store is relatively small with a limited selection. Specifically the store had no tricycles for me to peruse or test. The lack of an electric tricycle was problematic since I had traveled a fair distance to sample a Pedego trike. The store owner was affable, voluble and knowledgeable. He said that he would notify me as soon as he had an electric trike in stock. That was several weeks ago and unfortunately I never heard from him. To be fair the matter might have completely slipped his mind but it is still irritating. I would have liked to have an opportunity to evaluate a trike but apparently it wasn't to be. In any case I'm reconsidering my options. Who knows, I might contemplate a Pedego product in the future.

I first heard about Velofix when my bike was in accident Ave I needed repairs and searched online…read morebut I think at that time they were not doing bike repairs so I took my bike to Erik's Bike Shop in Richfield. My bike was repair where I could ride again but it was not the same as before accident. As the weather is starting to be nice out, I took my bike down to ride and the brakes were not very tight and the gears were not shifting smoothly as before. I did a search for bike tune ups near me and Velofix came up on the search again. I was going to take my bike to Nokomis Bike shop but after my husband went to check it out, they have an undetermined time frame of when the bike would be worked on so I decided to schedule an appt with Velofix. Luckily, they had one opening left for Thursday May 20. Prices were comparable to Nokomis Bike Shop for a basic tune up. It was great because Velofix came to my house and worked on the bike right in their mobile van and was done in an hour. Brant was friendly and good to work with. I did my check in and got a surprised check in offer for a free cooling towel with any service but I didn't save the offer and so I'm not able to pull it up again. I told Brant that and he was surprised of the offer and didn't have any cooling towels available. Overall, I would recommend Velofix because of the convenience, pricing and friendly staff.

He texted me over the weekend cause I was going to order a bike online and get it delivered there but a few days later I decided I'd check what they had first. Thankfully I did that cause I got a GREAT bike that gets 95miles on one charge with some accessories, shields for the tires, lock with a alarm for $3250 and two years warranty too. I love this place, the service is wonderful and ownership is top notch. I won't go anywhere else! Thank you for the great service and helping me find a bike. I'm looking forward to coming in and possibly buying more bikes or at least telling others about this great place.

They would not accept it because the bike had a battery that made the bike go faster than they wanted to work on.. I explained that it was just a tire. The service manager said it was more complicated that I could understand. I can't understand how a tire can be more complicated because the bike is made to go fast.
