I scheduled a pick up and indeed they arrived on time and removed the rugs with no problem to their truck. I called to schedule the delivery back to my condo and, sure enough, they arrived on time. Justin was right on time for our appointment and I enjoyed our chat. I had 3 very large handmade wool rugs to be cleaned and he measured them all and gave me a price for each rug. At $1.25 per square foot including pick up and delivery, I was very happy that my beautiful rigs would be fresh and clean and I would not have to spend an extraordinary amount of money to do it. The following week, a Midland Floor Care team came out and picked up my rugs, both young men were personable and professional. Very nice to deal with. My rugs are taking slightly longer than the usual time to process, but the important thing from a customers service prospective is that Justin is very prompt about replying to phone calls and texts, so I know exactly where things stand. Communication is often missing from customer service these days, but Justin is excellent. It has been a pleasure doing business with him.

We had such a bad experience with exceptionally rude receptionists and "upselling" at larger companies (ServPro) just trying to get an estimate for mold and water damage, so it was refreshing to work with Ansony. We noticed mold and water damage in a corner of our home and Ansony was able to come out to give an estimate shortly after we called. After a few weeks of us dealing with insurance, we noticed some additional damage elsewhere in the home. We reached back out to Damage Squad once we had things squared away with insurance to have them check out the additional damage and they came the next day to reevaluate and update their estimate. The changes were very reasonable--Ansony understood our budget and made it very clear what was necessary to address (i.e., mold) versus what could wait (i.e, more cosmetic things). So we signed the contract that day. Damage Squad came the next morning. Incredible. It's hard to find someone you feel like you can trust for home improvement, but Ansony clearly knows what he's doing and I never felt like he was trying to "upsell" or overcharge us. I felt like he genuinely made decisions and recommendations as if our home was his home, and he and his team treated it as such. We had a lot going on so we needed a company that could completely pack and move us with as little hassle as possible. They came to our old place and reviewed and inventoried every item. We have a lot of art and a particularly unique glass table. They gave us a quote that was significantly higher than any of the other movers, but we chose them for several reasons. 1. The actually came out to understand what they were moving 2. They explained how they would handle the art and glass table 3. They stated that all their workers we salaried employees with no day laborers 4. It turned out that the guy who came out had gone to school with my daughter so we made a nice connection The day before the move they came out and did all the packing. We were impressed by the efficiency of the team, their speed and their unity. The day of the move they showed up on time and got to work. Again very efficient and effective. They packed everything in about 3 hours. We we got to the new place they again were super efficient. Even though I paid a ton of money, I ended up giving each mover a $20 tip. According to them, although they are employed by the company they don't get a ton of benefits and they wish they got higher wages. Still the fact that most of them had been with the company several years and that the got along well tells me they were being treated well. As we unpack we are finding out just how much paper they used to pack everything. This meant that nothing broke, but it also means I have a landfill worth of paper to throw away (recycle). Bottom line was that it was a great experience. The reason I did not give them the 5 stars is cost. Ultimately I don't regret it and will definitely come back to them for any future moves, but hopefully I will be able to negotiate a little better in the future.

Commercial - my church. The banquet hall carpet had been soiled over time with spillage that had become embedded, spots, etc. Several "professional" carpet cleaners had tried and said the carpet could be cleaned to our satisfaction. In comes OMA Professional and did what the naysayers said couldn't be and perform the services with grace and courtesy after having been told the carpet could be satisfactorily cleaned. Recommend OMA and will schedule within the next few weeks for cleaning the oriental carpets and the carpet in the home office which now has a coffee stain which I have no doubt will be removed.
