Indeed, from other reviews, it appears their focus is on scooters. However, one desperate weekend, I was changing brake pads on my bike only to release I had the wrong part for my rear brake. This was, as is my modus operandi, a realization I had only after disassembling the caliper. Now, I've known of the The Motorcycle Shop from my daily commute but never been inside it. In a moment of desperation, I called them up and asked if they had the correct brakepad in stock. They, in fact, did. I asked them to hold the part for me and raced over there. Looks can be deceiving. The shop is larger inside than it looks from the outside and they sell various new and used motorcycles as well as scooters. I don't buy new so I can't speak on their pricing for bikes. There was a substantial wait at the parts counter. Lots of jib jabbing of the salesman variety. In all honestly, if I hadn't needed the part, I would have walked out and found one elsewhere. Eventually, a salesman noticed I was milling about and interrupted the man at the parts counter so I could pick up what I came for. They sell a fair amount of bolt on accessories, helmets, jackets, and the like. Nothing to write home about. They have mechanics on site, but I did not deal with them. If you're into scooters, this is probably your spot. If you are looking for a shop or to buy a motorcycle, well maybe. There are other motorcycle garages nearby with better reputations. The store was decent and the staff was friendly based on my interactions.

This makes a cash cow parts and service bonanza for Polaris dealers to overcharge their customers IMO. Recycle has the diagnostic scanners and Polaris software needed, is honest and treats me right on parts and labor. No easy task me being a former ASE certified master tech, third generation garage, body & machine shop owner and general pain in the ass about perfection. Hats off for a job well done. D. I explained that we got our ATV running after sitting for over 10 years, but concerned about the crankcase pressure being very high. The owner/mechanic, Ammo, advised I get a compression test and that the problem may just be a clogged-up vent tube going to the air filter box and that the crankcase may just need to blow out old residual junk after sitting for so long. I had an older motorcycle that I dropped off. It had set awhile and needed some carb work and some…read moreother items done. Well $700+ later I drive away. I get home, park it and had to leave town for two weeks. Came back fired it up and only runs when the choke is on. It just dies when throttle is used. I called BucketHeads and they said to bring it in. I explained I can't drive it and have not trailer, hence the fact that I had to pay for it to be towed by them the first time. They just said to bring it in and left me to figure out how to get it in. They kept telling me they spent way more time on my motor cycle then they were billing me for, but what good is that if it doesn't run. I would recommend going else were. They are very nice, but what good is that. The motorcycle is in the same shape as before, except i have a new battery. Update: I just spoke with them again and they are going to pickup the bike. I will report how it turns out. It is looking up though. Sorry for the late update. Bucketheads did come and get my motorcycle and they have it running like a charm. They stood by thier work and fixed th issue. They have won my business.

To start off I've never left a review for a company before but my experience with this shop was…read morecompletely horrendous. Took my 09 CBR 1000rr in to Black Widow to get a full service done, a new set of fairings put on and a new headlight assembly put in. Was told that it would be over 1k to do which seemed a little high to me but I was fine with seeing as they had good reviews and everything. Took almost 6 months for me to get my bike out of the shop. When I finally did get the call that it was done, I went up there to pick it up. I go back to check out my bike and noticed my passenger seat was missing, passenger seat lock missing, passenger seat strap missing, spools were missing, battery charger that I had left for them to use (said they didn't have one) was missing, fairings not lined up to each other, and the bike was just filthy with dirt and dust all over it. My bike seemed like it was basically parted out. I told Jon Keller, the owner of this place, all the stuff that was missing and his response was "oh that's you brought it to us". What a load of crock that was. My bike was perfectly fine when I had brought it in with no issues just wanted a service and a few things done to it. So he goes to start my bike up and it wouldn't start because the battery was dead. When I brought it in it had a brand new lithium battery in it, hence why I left them a battery charger. So he jumps it with his home made battery charger, since mine was stolen, and it starts up. Almost immediately it starts to overheat. Hmm that's weird because I had brought it in to get serviced and It's never overheated on me before. Jon Keller begins to put engine coolant in my bike and it just pours out the bottom of my bike onto the shop floor. Come to find out the drain plug to my engine coolant WAS MISSING!! Wtf. So there was ZERO coolant in my bike! I had brought this bike in to get serviced! Jon Keller STILL charged me $1200!!!! I only paid it to get my bike out and back to my house before anything else happened to it. Be very careful of this place.
