E's made our wedding cake and it was the best decision. We sent a picture of what we wanted and went with the fresh mango cream flavor. Not only was the price quote the best we found out of 5 places we inquired with, but the cake turned out exactly like we wanted and our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Most wedding cakes are only there for appearances and usually taste dry and boring, but the mango cream and fresh mangoes were so unique! I want to go back to get a cake every year for our anniversary!

Clean establishment, fresh fluffy cakes, great customer service (so far) and a seamless ordering experience as you can do it in person, online, over the phone, or WeChat. Responses are usually in a timely manner (same day). If you're looking for a regular cake or personalized cake then this is the place! With so many designs to choose from, theres bound to be a design suited for your occasion/person and if not, they can create it! If you're worried about your dream cake coming out looking nothing like your photo, don't worry as they are very skilled at replicating pictures and executing designs. Do keep in mind that the personalized cakes are a bit pricier and theres tax on it.

Such a cute cake! My best friend had customized this cake for her baby shower and it came out so cute! It was a sponge cake with strawberry filling inside. To our surprise the cake was not overly sweet and it was pretty good.

If you're looking for a birthday cake, E's Cake Shop has creative designs and bouncy sponge cakes! I've ordered their cakes via Direct Message on Instagram, and it's always a simple and quick process. I tend to choose designs that they've posted on their Instagram so they know exactly what I want. The first time I ordered from here, they didn't do the design I wanted because they said it wasn't written on the cake order by whoever I was DM'ing with. However, I showed them the conversation and they offered to fix it with the correct design. Surprisingly, I only had to wait 15-20 minutes for the fix, and it looked like the real deal! They seem to be very popular with their fondant cakes, but I like their non-fondant ones more. My husband had ordered a totoro fondant cake for me recently and the sponge cake inside all the fondant was quite small, yet it was the better-tasting part of the cake.

I gotta support my local girl E. My friend is a ride or die for E's cake shop and I finally convinced my aunt to go with me. Heh. I love the fruit cakes, they were so beautiful. The sponge cakes were so light and fluffy. The whipped cream was fresh. The fruit was incredible. Simple, but amazing! My cousin liked her cake pop as well but I have to come back and try other things!!

I ordered an 8in passionfruit mousse cake through the phone one day before I went to pick up. However, at pickup the lady asked if I had an order number but I never received one when I placed the order. I gave her my name instead and it was fine. The cake cost $52, $56 after tax. The family enjoyed it especially because it's not too sweet. The passionfruit was very fragrant once we opened the box, love the intensity of it! The mousse is thick, pretty sure it's from the gelatin. The layer of passionfruit on top was super concentrated and flavorful. The sponge cake was thin but soft. Interior of the store is simple and clean. Overall, I would recommend this place for its good quality and flavor.

Excellent service & delivered exactly what I asked for. The cake was beautiful. Very knowledgeable and great at suggestion. For me this wasn't a big deal since I'm not a sweets person: but if you're guest really love sweet cakes then maybe this isn't for them. It's very bland in flavor. Not your typical sweet cake. More of a traditional Chinese sponge cake. Light on sweetness. Overall on appearance, and service , 10/10

Ordered a cake here for a friends birthday and they have alot of design options available and yoh are able to tweak it according to your liking and for the style I chose which was a custom design it was 6" for $60 and 8" for $80 which I thought was very reasonable (custom cake ain't cheap) and it was comparable to the other custom cake shops that I normally go to. Their cake here is really good, fresh and moist. I ordered a green tea cake with green tea cream and strawberry... strawberries weren't in season so it wasn't their fault that it wasn't super sweet but I was actually able to taste the green tea and the green tea in the cream... the taro cake that another person ordered from the same place was a hit with everyone also... the design I initially chose I didn't like certain aspects of it and asked that they remove certain things... and gave them free reign they customized it and made it even better. The funny part is that I couldn't read the Chinese writing but thank god it was appropriate I would recommend paying cash instead I realize they charge tax if you pay with card a week after when I checked my cc statement..

Ever since E's opened, my family has ordered a cake from them for every occasion. My brother usually places the order, and has become a regular here. We usually place orders 1-2 days in advance, but we've also ordered on the day of, and E's always delivers a perfect final product. The fresh cream cakes here are to DIE FOR. I've always been a fan of chinese bakery cakes, but E's is next level. Everything about the cake is incredible - the cream is SO light and fluffy, the cake is soft and airy, and the fruit is sweet and thoughtfully arranged. I can easily devour half a cake and not feel as guilty as I usually do with other cakes. And remember, the best part of adulting is that you don't need an occasion for cake. This is your sign to get a cake!!!!

I really do not want to give E's Cake anything lower than a 4-star rating. E's Cake has been my go-to for all my custom cakes the past few years. I'm not sure if they are just overly busy nowadays but this is the second time in a row that they got my cake wrong. I didn't make a big deal for the previous cake since it still worked for my purpose and theme. Plus, it's the first time that they made a mistake compare to all the other times that I left as a satisfied customer. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back to them this time for my baby shower cake order. But they made a HUGE mistake this time and it was really upsetting for me. I asked for light green and blush pink colors for my cake and cupcakes. I went in person to place my order, explained the colors clearly to the lady, and sent her a sample photo (see attached photo) for reference. On the day of my baby shower, I received pink & BLUE cupcakes (see attached photo)! I am having a baby girl and blue is the worst color I can have at my baby shower! The cake and cupcakes were delivered to the venue the day of my event and there was nothing I can do. Not only did the desserts not match my theme but guests were questioning why the cupcakes were blue (they know I'm having a girl). The venue even asked if I was doing a gender reveal! I was utterly disappointed and I just don't understand how they could've gotten the color wrong. This is a HUGE mistake and I will forever have to look back at my baby girl baby shower photos and see the blue cupcakes.

Our son's 1st birthday cake came out absolutely PERFECT!!! We cannot say enough about the amazing job Kelly and her staff did for our baby boy's cake. As our son's 1st birthday approached, we began our search for a custom cake shop. We contacted a few in the South Brooklyn area, but none of them could create the design we wanted with the ingredients required or either they were just too expensive with a lot of question marks. When we first contacted Kelly through their listed number, we were unsure of how to begin the process, but she worked with us through WeChat as we submitted to her our own rendering of the cake and similar designs. She sent us a menu for custom cakes that they had, which included the different ingredients that could be used. She sent us a menu for a Butter Cake and one for a Sponge Cake. For the Butter Cake menu, she had the flavors that she could make listed for the cake, as well as, the cream. For the Sponge Cake, she also had the Sponge Cake flavors listed plus the fresh cream filling flavors and the type of filling we wanted. The fact that she had a custom cake menu made it all the more easier for us to make decisions on the interior of the cake. On the day that I picked up the cake, I arrived at their shop at 11AM. Apparently, there had been a miscommunication on the timing of when we were going to pick up the cake during the day, BUT thankfully, our cake was already made! Whewwwwwww! Kelly and her staff brought the cake out, showed me the details of it and I was flabbergasted at how closely it resembled our rendering/vision of it! I couldn't have been happier with how it came out when I was in the shop. The exterior of the cake was an A+, how about the interior you might ask? Well, we ordered a custom green tea sponge cake with vanilla fresh cream and strawberry filling. For those familiar with special occasion/birthday sponge cakes sold at Chinese bakeries, the interior's texture won't surprise you. And, honestly, my expectations were average for the interior because I've had these type of sponge cakes before for celebrations. Also, I was more concerned with the presentation of it, but once again, I was SHOCKED at how good the cake tasted. The green tea flavoring with the vanilla fresh cream and strawberry filling was excellent. It was maybe the best sponge cake I have ever had, flavor wise. It was so good, we had members of our family go for seconds of the cake, which they never do, and they asked where we got the cake because it was so good. Kelly and her team came through for us big time and we cannot thank them enough for the professionalism of the custom cake. We will DEFINITELY be contacting them again if we ever need a special custom cake!

Chestnut cake. I ordered it just about 24 hours in advance and it was just perfect. Not overly sweet like some places you would get cakes from. The design was simple but elegant. Very cute macron designs -$3.50 each which was reasonable. Highly recommended for good customer service as well.
