    Matcha red bean cake
    Fuang C.

New bakery in the neighborhood located right by the train station. The bakery is cutely decorated and has a few selection of bakery breads and cake slices. They also seemed to sell wontons, dumplings, and noodles. I came in for a slice of cake but couldn't decide on which flavor! They all looked so good. The staff gave me a suggestion and I ended up with the matcha red bean cake. The prices are really reasonable for cake ($5-5.50) and a little more for the crepe cakes. The matcha red bean cake was light, fluffy and not too sweet. I wasn't a big fan of the red bean chunks but the matcha flavor is light. The cream was also light. Overall, it's a really good slice of cake that's not too overly sweet and so affordable. Excited for this new addition to the neighborhood and will come by to try the other cake flavors.

They messed up my sister's cake. I asked whether the image we wanted could be replicated, but the cake turned out very disappointing. No communication before pickup. Could have let us know beforehand that they could not complete the cake well, but nothing. My second year ordering from them, but the quality has not kept up.

Past by this bakery many time, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, is just okay. Kinda expensive, doesn't worth the price. But the store is nice and clean.

$17.5- (2) BentoBox Cake 8.5/10 It was okay, just a simple combination of cake, cream, and fruits. Unfortunately, the fruits weren't sweet

These were perfect size for 2-4 people to enjoy after a meal during a celebration. Also the price is affordable

Finally, PB made it to this side of Bensonhurst!…read more If you've been to one of their franchise spot, then you probably have favorites and go-to items. I know I do. Coffee bun! We also love their soufflé cheesecake when we do splurge on dessert. It's kind of pricey. But worth it! I was a little disappointed with the blueberry yogurt cake - tasted stale (ugh), but the mochi donuts were yummy! This location is pretty new, less than 1 yr old. Right around the corner from Chipotle, on the 18th Avenue busy hub. Self service, tray, line with parchment, grab your goodies and pay. The staff are nice and friendly. Clean, roomy enough for customers to browse what they want but smaller than the location on 86th St. Although the price point is higher than your Asian bakery, the aesthetic and variety and taste makes it worth while. I'm a fan and be sure to join their loyalty program for treats!

**First Time Visit & Definitely Not the Last!**…read more I stopped by this location for the first time and loved the self-serve style of dining. Walking in, the space was clean with a calm, quiet ambience and light music playing in the background -- such a relaxing vibe. You're greeted right away, then directed to the plastic trays, a box of parchment paper what company will logo and your own single-use tongs. From there, you get to browse at your own pace through two beautiful display cases filled with beautiful desserts and cakes, and tarts. Also well as two fully stocked fridges filled with drinks, sandwiches, and salads (which looked SO fresh and delicious -- definitely trying those next time!). The two baristas working were incredibly friendly and engaging. They were knowledgeable about the drinks, happy to offer recommendations, and made the experience feel welcoming. They offer cakes, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate -- perfect for pairing with dessert. Now let's talk about the good part... the pastries I tried the jumbo twisted cinnamon donut, a croissant donut, and the chocolate supreme croissant. Every single one was fresh, flavorful, soft on the inside with the perfect crunch on the outside. The flavors were absolutely mouthwatering. The prices were exactly what I expected but I enjoyed the quality and overall it was such an enjoyable dessert experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat in a cozy, inviting spot. To catch up with friends, read, or study. I'll definitely be back!

I remember having their cream filled bread from their location in Manhattan and really liked it and figured I will come by here and check out more of their offerings. The spot is pretty humble on the outside, they have some seating inside, and a huge selection of baked goods. I will say they offer some really unique things like milk bread in different flavors with different fillings of cream like taro, matcha etc, and I really particularly enjoyed their baked pastries in the front with so many varieties to choose from. The cakes did look very expensive though, I wouldn't really go out of my way to get a whole cake here. I got myself a variety of three macrons and a prebaked pastry with feta cheese. I found the prices here to be a little insane, for the amount of stuff you are getting. The rose macaron was delicious. I really tasted the flavors coming through, the chocolate was not my favorite, it was just not chocolatey enough. I will say the macarons have a good bite to them and are made well but flavors can be hit or miss. The feta cheese pastry was crispy and buttery, but it could have used a little bit more filling. I think for $7 it was way overpriced. Service was friendly, the cashier was quick and efficient with the order and courteous but I really do think they need to knock down the prices a little bit. This is South Brooklyn after all and not Manhattan.

Of course the line was out the door on the popular holiday. But coming here would only make my trip to Bensonhurst worth it. The line moved fast. But it was easy to be overlooked by the staff through the abundance of easter baskets and glass windows. The overwhelming options brought out the inner fat kid in me. Because it all looked sooooo good. My go to pastry at a place like this is cannoli. My wife love rainbow cookies. Overall this is the best cannoli I've had in a very long time. The cream was to perfection. The crust was baked to the right crisp with the exact amount of firmness and not no burning. The rainbow cookie was not overly sweet. The cake was moisute with a perfect balance to sweetness. It held well with every bite. My wife also said this was the best shes had in awhile. My daughter loved the lobster tail. It had a light exterior texture to every bite. The cream was nice with a hint of nutmeg. The chocolate mousse was decadent. There was a liquer to the chocolate that gave a lot of depth to the chocolate smoothie texture. Will certainly come back. And spread the word. This is not only an institution but a landmark.
