Neon 10" pizza with pesto sauce, prosciutto (subbed for chicken), artichokes, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms.

Awesome stop for lunch! As soon as you walk in you can smell the goodness. Cozy little place with a friendly staff! The girl at the counter suggested a neon pizza (pesto sauce) with prosciutto instead of chicken. It was amazing. People around us were getting salads and they were huge. We got coffee, cappuccino, and the chocolate cake and lemon berry cake to end the meal...perfect amount of sweetness. Don't miss this little place if you're driving through!!

Best pizza I've had in Utah! Will be back. Salads look amazing as well. Lovely place to shop while waiting.

Had a Silver Falls pizza and Apple Pecan Arugula Salad for dinner after hiking Lower Calf Falls! Highly recommend this! It was excellent!

Stopped in as a recommendation from the desk clerk where I was staying. Great little place! Lots of pizza options, but I went for the BLT. Great bread, nice e spicy mayo. Good beer selection. Outdoor space was pleasant and spacious - tables aren't too close together.

This may be some of the best pizza I've ever had. The sourdough crust was incredible. My friend didn't like the Caesar salad as the dressing wasn't the normal dressing. Cute store that you can shop while you wait.

Food was good. Service was ok. Not a lot of options in town and this is probably the best.

Anchovy and bacon (and other items) 10" pizza and the Apple arugula w caramelized walnuts salad... both items were delicious!!!

Great first time visit. We had the Anchovy and bacon (and other items) 10" pizza and the Apple arugula w caramelized walnuts salad... both items were delicious!!! The service by Adrian and Kim was very nice and pleasant. We appreciated their hospitality. And, the ambiance was nice and relaxing. Thank you for a nice lunch!!

What a true gem! The absolute most delicious pizza and salad ever. A must try if you're in Escalante!

Lemon Blueberry Cake from Escalante Outfitters

The cafe here is truly a treat. This place was recommended at the Kolob Canyon Visitor Center and that person knew what they were talking about. The cakes and pastries all looked good, but the cakes were specifically mentioned by the person with whom we spoke. The Lemon Blueberry cake looked unusual and we love that combination. So we got a piece to split and were so very happy we did. If you have a chance in your travels up and down UT 12 to make a stop, it's worth having some cake, even if you save it for later (as we did...their cafe hours are a little limited).

When we walked in, the line to order was so long! It moved quickly and they were able to get our order and seat us faster than I thought. Pizzas, drinks and salad came out quickly and everything was so delicious!! The place was packed but they kept tables clean and everyone happy

I had the Single king room which was nicely furnished with lots of nice touches and perfect for my needs. The king size bed had a nice firm mattress but the pillows were kind of soft and didn't provide a lot of support. The tv was a connected to an antenna so there was only a limited amount of channels and sometimes the reception was spotty. But since the purpose in visiting Escalante is to get out and enjoy all the wonderful hikes and drives available this was no problem. The room has a microwave, small fridge, and a coffee/tea area with fresh ground coffee available. It would have been nice to have a small office chair so I could set up my laptop on the desk. The bathroom has lots of towels and a nice shower. The room has a back door that leads to a seating area in the back with a nice view of the mountains. The front of the rooms has a firepit and a grill and a nice seating area as well. The lobby closes at 6pm but the owners are available by phone to text or call. They are wonderful hosts. I had the pleasure of talking to and getting to know Terry and Wendy when I had a waffle for breakfast. They do not offer a free breakfast but they do have a small restaurant that sells incredible Belgian waffles and wonderful fresh ground coffee. The next time I am in Escalante I will definitely stay here again.

We snagged the last room available for our brief stay in Escalante (see my other reviews) - a two queen bed "room". I put quotes around that, because our lodging was more like a mini suite. It came with extremely comfortable beds, a kitchen and dining table with dishes and settings for four, a really nice toilet, shower, and dressing room, and a back patio looking out over the beautiful mesa to the north of town. Check-in was a breeze, with plenty of communication in advance and on the day before arrival. It's set up to be no contact, but Terry stopped by after we arrived just to be sure we had everything we needed. The Lodge provides complimentary laundry facilities, wonderful architecture and decor, Tesla charging ports, snacks, terrific coffee, and on and on. WiFi was fast and simple. In addition, our room had a European-style "key card enable" by the door; with the key out, the lights and most outlets go off (not the refrigerator). With the key inserted, everything comes on. Terry and Wendy have worked very hard to anticipate and accommodate every possible need.

We were originally planning an RV trip, but work got in the way. Staying here felt like an RV adventure without all the hassle. We stayed in one of the Airstreams, which had full hookups, a split AC unit, a sink, and a mini fridge. There wasn't a restroom inside, but the nearby bathhouse was spotless and honestly felt like a spa. The property itself was amazing. There's a great lounge area, delicious food from the onsite food truck, and an incredibly friendly staff. The drive-in movie theater with classic cars was such a cool touch. Brownie and Max absolutely loved their stay. Ofland Escalante is located east of Bryce, and the remote setting meant some of the best stargazing I've ever experienced. I could even see the haze of the Milky Way. Each Airstream site has its own fire pit, and they provide one complimentary bundle of wood. We ended up buying more because we loved sitting under the stars so much. Max, being a city boy, preferred relaxing inside the Airstream with the AC, while Brownie, who was always a lap dog, stayed curled up with us outside by the fire the entire time. We visited during their opening weekend in March, so it was peaceful, not overcrowded, and there were barely any bugs. I'll always have a special fondness for this place because it was our last camping and road trip with Brownie, who passed away this past Sunday after years of fighting congenital heart failure. Thank you to the entire Ofland Escalante team for giving us such a meaningful memory. One of the few things on Instagram that look better in person.

I needed to change it to 2 nights, and Hotels.com said I had to cancel and rebook (I'm sure this is a Hotels.com problem, not their fault). When I canceled, Cowboy Country Inn had already charged me for one night (it was charged when I booked). The cancellation policy says you can cancel without penalty up until a certain date and I hadn't hit that date so I figured it wouldn't be a problem. Boy was I wrong. I spent a month trying to get a refund. According to Hotels.com, Cowboy Country Inn was the one who charged me and therefore they couldn't refund me. They told me I had to contact the motel. Unfortunately, this motel doesn't answer the phone. I tried many times. After a lot of fighting, I finally got Hotels.com to make an exception and refund me themselves. While I'm glad I didn't have to pay extra, the motel still stole money for service they didn't provide, so I can't give them a good review. We still stayed here for two nights (I wasn't going to try to get refunded a second time). We had no major problems once we got there. The WiFi didn't work when we arrived, but they resolved it quickly. I wish there was a way to get ice there. They make you go to the gas station and you have to pay if you need it more than once. Based on the fact that they don't refund people according to their policy, I wouldn't stay here again.
