Dr. Saloum's team had me do an…read moreX-Ray then called me saying "as you know, there's a growth in your chest" (I didn't know) and that's what began a 4-month STRUGGLE to get all of my scans and biopsy to confirm it was cancer. I even had to go into Dr. Saloum's office twice to watch his staff forward my info to surgeons as it would sit on the desk for days....even a week once. Initially, the hodgkin's lymphoma was only in my chest...by the time I started treatment, it was in my neck too. The amazing staff at the START Center for Cancer Care had called the office DAILY for exactly a week and Dr. Saloum's office would not answer. One time I called and the receptionist said they had just spoken with the START center and sent all my information over.....the next morning, Ann from the START center called me to say she hadn't been able to get ahold of anyone at Saloum's office. If I hadn't been persistent, and my boss hadn't let me leave work to watch Dr. Saloum's staff do their job, who knows if I'd have made it to treatment in time. They were completely indifferent to my situation. The staff and Dr. Saloum literally doesn't care that you're dying. Go. Elsewhere.

My insurance requires pre-approval for this medication. About a week later I received a rejection notice from my insurance because the DR. office did not respond to their request for more information. I contacted the office and was assured that they would follow up and get it taken care of. They never did. I also requested a copy of my lab results. They e-mailed a copy and when I reviewed it I noticed that my PSA was elevated. I made an appointment with a Urologist. A biopsy was done and a diagnosis of prostate cancer was made. I have since had surgery to remove the prostate, To date, 2-21-2019, I have yet to receive a call from Dr. Saloum's office informing me of an abnormal lab result. If you are a current patient at this practice, RUN. Find another Dr. before you have a serious health problem because you will never here from these people if you do. If you are considering this practice as your primary care, keep looking. These people do not care about your health. They are just there for the money.

Yes you will sit in the waiting room for 2 hours if you are lucky. I have waited longer. The staff is very rude, they give you the feeling as if they are doing you a favor by assisting you. The Doctor will demand an EKG at every visit even if you are only coming in for allergies or a cold. The Doctor will require you to submit to blood test every 3 months. This Doctor is only there to promote his diet supplements and over bill your insurance company. It did not take me very long to find a new PCP and hope to never return to Cedar Hills Family Practice again. If you do not believe me check out the other reviews they have all are horrible. It cannot be the norm when 10 out of 10 people who review give this place a one star.
