Lots of fun. We came in for a Yelp event thing, and had a blast just eating snacks and drinking beer on the patio. We decided to try several different brews. My wife and I each got a flight, and then some. We also took some to go. They have a lot of great varieties, you'll definitely find something that you like! I'm more of a fan of maltier beers. And their blonde is good, also, I can't wait to see this place when it's fully operational again after all of these restrictions are lifted. It looks like a fun place to hang out. But, for now, spacious patio, lots of tables, I'm guessing it gets super crowded on a weekend evening. But we came during an afternoon. This place is great. Super easy to park as it is located inside in a business center looking thing. The brewery itself is huge. Tons of seating inside and outside. They also have games such as foosball, corn hole, some kinda of electric darts, board games and air hockey. There was a food truck also setting up as we got there so thats another plus. Cool little spot! Had no idea this was here! Located in an industrial complex, it's sort of hidden away from the street. But what a fun place with a cool kitschy vibe. We tried many beers when we were here. Many interesting flavors and honestly I liked everything but the seltzer. I found that to be very bland. But a cool color so do it for the 'gram. My personal favorite was the vanilla stout. Really smooth and not too sweet. We brought home a crowler (not to be confused with a growler) of that and the local specialty - an orange blossom flavored ale. Plenty of space and quite a bit of outdoor seating. We stopped here for dinner on our way up to the mountains. The main selling point for us was that it was dog friendly. We were not expecting the set up though, you walk in, wait in line to order, and then go find seating from the indoor or two outdoor patios. They have games to play and a lot of different seating options (small versus big tables, outdoor chairs, bar seating). It can get pretty loud, but when we went everyone was kind and loved to see our dog with us. We got the appetizer pretzel and both burgers. My boyfriend got the spicy burger and was content with the heat level, he said it "lingered nicely", and the standard burger I got was a solid double patty cheeseburger. First off, the food. I think they have hands down the best NY and Chicago style pizza in town. The crust is amazing. The toppings plentiful and delicious, though the micro greens are no more than tossed aside garnish. The rest of the menu is outstanding as well. Great desserts. And they change it up, which is refreshing. Now the beer. I love their beer. I also love their featured guest taps. A good blend all around. However, I feel like there is a common deal at just about every beer joint in town, and that is very few seem to be pouring an honest proper pint. 16oz kids! I will say that I got a short pint a week or so ago due to a finished keg and the barmaid made up for it on my second without me making a fuss about it. Still, the beer is good if not great. We regularly eat and drink at both the taproom and the downtown joint. We love the staff, but Loren takes the cake. She's the best! She's kind and attentive. We always will recommend Escape. Saturday, February 1, 2020 First time here tonight. It's very crowded in here right now but it's a Saturday night at 7pm. Came to see a buddy's band "Mix Tape" tonight. They rocked the 90's classics as expected. They desperately need to add some stage lighting to illuminate the band though, the band was completely in the dark. Overall a very cool brewery. One of the larger breweries I've experienced. The building is huge. Located in an industrial area like the others. Taco lady outside making tacos.. they looked and smelled great but we already had dinner. Escape Craft has a great vibe. Families welcome. Beer is good too. Not amazing but typical. This is a great local restaurant. Food is fantastic. Love their wedge salad. Best fries ever. Friendly, casual local atmosphere. Best part is the dogs... Bam Bam especially. The only reason I don't give them 5 plus stars is that they are super stingy on wine servings. The beers are generous, and if that's your jam, you're in good shape. I've searched the IE far and wide, and I've finally found it.. A brewery with great beer, fantastic atmosphere, and amazing people! Escape Craft Brewery is a true gem, one I don't mind mining until I've exhausted every brew. The crew stopped by Escape for a flight of beers on a Sunday afternoon. My first impression of the location is that it reminded me of summer - bright, cheerful, and all about adventure! It provided our group with the perfect escape from this winter weather. True to it's name, the bar is set up for an instant escape with each of the brew offerings presented on suit cases. Above your head is a mechanical train doing its rounds - chugga chugga. There is a separate room filled with games: shuffle board, giant jenga, corn hole, and pretty much every board/card game imaginable. What sets Escape aside from other breweries is their expansive patio. With picnic tables and shading, this is where you'll find me on summer afternoons! The two beers that stood out were their Irish Red Ale (duh, it's award winning) and the Redlands Night, which is an American Blonde Ale. True to it's locale, it smelt and tasted of oranges. They sell swag for days with merchandise including: candles, dog tags, koozies, glasses, socks, and beanies! Escape is also incredibly welcoming to children and pups. read more

So I ran into a little problem with an employee calling last call at 9pm, and they stop serving at 9:30, but I was refused to be served at 9:12. I left a review that comes with my email receipt and the owner replied apologizing about service at Escape, and explained that she will talk to her staff about giving a reasonable time for last call, and relay the information I thanked her, and when I opened up my other email there was a $5 coupon for my next visit I didn't tell the owner that I wasn't planning on coming back, but to my surprise the coupon was there with an apology and that made a difference within me to keep coming back and to continue taking my out of towners to Escape to unwind when they visit me. It's the simplest things that makes a great business owner I know, because I used to own a business and especially nowadays there are so many breweries to Choose from one does nor have to stick to only one brewery, people can take their business elsewhere, but again I appreciate the reply and the coupon it shows the owners care about their customers and it will keep me coming back thank you. read more

Escape brewing is located in a, yep you guessed it, light industrial area. Walking in I thought it might be small but it looks like they occupy three of the standard size units. Two are occupied by the service area with another where the brewing takes place. Lots of room in here! Great vibe inside as it is all vacation themed. The menu board above the bar is made up of old suitcases with each one bearing the name of one of the beers on tap. Nice touch! Escape is very dog friendly, even selling some dog treats and toys. The evening we were there a couple of pooches were wandering around, who I think might have been the brewery mascots. They seemed very well trained and friendly in a slightly aloof, not jumping your leg sort of way. This is good as not everyone likes dogs rubbing all over them, though that seems weird to me... Alright, let's talk beers. We were a little pressed for time this visit so we only tried one flight of six. I usually feel like a failure when I don't try all of the beers on tap, well I'll be honest my feelings of inadequacy are much more deeply rooted than that. Sigh...Oh, sorry. Stachetober is a very nice American red, malty andsmooth with a crisp flavor and not too sweet at the end. SWPFTD really likes this one (Refer to my review of Black Market Brewing in Temecula to understand that acronym). Destination Brown is a very good brown ale. A great session beer in my book. Nutty, flavorful goodness! I ordered up a taster of Hatch Awakens which was not for me. Very strong hatch chili aroma and flavor. In fairness I knew this would probably not be my beer but wanted to give it a try anyway. It tasted and smelled strongly of green chiles. Not a bad beer, just not my style. Midnight Express was definitely one of my beers. A very good English stout, roasty with coffee and chocolate. Road Rafe red is an imperial red with 10% alcohol strong but tasty. Trophy Wife blonde is a great example of a blonde ale. Light with no off flavors and a bit of sweetness to it Redlands Nights is an orange blossom vanilla ale that is extremely tasty with a clean flavor. Definite orange on the nose and on the tongue. This beer was frankly stunning in my book! The flavor was fresh and clean without any of the bitterness that can come through in a citrus beer. That bitterness works in a citrus IPA but not in a lighter flavored beer like this. I picked up a four pack of this to take home. We will definitely return to escape when we have more time. They are brewing up some fabulous beers, the location is nicely set up, the service was great and it pretty much just rocked. I had been looking forward to bringing my boyfriend here for his first time ever and sadly, the customer service was a big let down. Grumpy tall bearded guy seemed really put out by giving even a greeting or providing any kind of assistance whatsoever. He seemed like he was about 2 seconds away from exploding. The older female working on Sunday the 20th was equally unfriendly, criticizing the way my boyfriend wore his mask. There was a young man working that day who was the only one who seemed to have any kind of sense of what customer service means... I use to come here semi-often, but I'll be frequenting Hops n Spokes Brewery in Yucaipa from now on. Better beer and much better customer service! They have either rude customer service (servers) or they have not the best beers. But this one was different. Escape had really nice beers and a great customer service. 3 years ago I walked in to Escape Brewery for the first time, my review at the time wasn't very nice. But honest. I didn't say anything mean. But a lot has changed. There the only brewery that I know of that chills, there glasses. Which was my original complaint, that the beers were warm. I have been back so many times I've lost count. Tonight, the night before their 4th anniversary. Their beers are great! I have no complaints. Here's to another 4 years and beyond. Surprisingly, I had never been here. I used to go to a crossfit gym in the same parking lot years ago and never knew Escape was in the same lot. Getting there: It located off Redlands Blvd. There are some office looking buildings, but once you pull inside you'll see a large parking lot and the Escape sign will be off to your left. Located in the Packing District, and a short walk to one of the train stations for the new rail line opening next spring. 2 great outdoor seating areas and a game room. Not ever going back!! No drink refills on non-alcoholic Fountain sodas!! I wanted something other than beer, so I decided on root beer. The loaded fries were not good and neither was the Detroit style pepperoni pizza. it is way overpriced and you pick up your own food at the kitchen counter! Why the "ask" for a tip. What a great little brewery. They still had indoor seating with the appropriate distancing and a mask required if you weren't seated. I started with the Redlands Nights Orange Blossom Blonde. A very good citrus enhanced beer. I followed that up with a Gettin Glazed Bearclaw Stout. Very sweet on the front end (too sweet) but the right amount of bitter on the back end. I enjoyed the atmosphere there. It was clearly a locals favorite. I will definitely be back. They even made a Christmas Tree from their cans. It's not often that I write a review so for me to sit down and take the time to write this means a lot... at least to me. Maybe it's the Covid blues, or my contemplative state, but if I could have only one beer til the day I die, I'd pick Escape Brewing's, Redland Nights Blond Ale. The citrus and vanilla are sublime. It's only a 5.2 abv so I can have a few and feel mighty fine without having to worry. I'm typically a dark beer fan, and they've got a few good ones to choose from as well, but I'd give it all up for that vanilla orange-y goodness. We're missing the atmosphere, travel themed and eclectic. There's a whole other part of the brewery we didn't venture into, but the wife and I can't wait to go back when the shutdown ends. Sure it's a 40 minute drive with no traffic, but well worth it. Even just for pick up in this new strange covid world we find ourselves in. Also bonus points to the brewery for making (unsure) and/or distributing (definitely sure of) hand sanitizer. Till next time Escape, keep the Redland Nights stocked, I'll be back soon. read more

Not really my type of brewery..they do allow pets, which is kind of a pain because you don't want to step on anybodies pooch, it's very gender neutral..as in the restrooms are all Toilets..which I don't think is a good idea for a brewery..since men attend to piss a lot especially a few beers..great for a small private event though. And they have a kitchen..which I heard the pizza is amazing. read more
