We did The Final Evaluation last weekend and had an absolute blast. The whole game had such a creepy, weird atmosphere without just relying on jump scares. A couple of the puzzles definitely had us stuck, but Nurse Candy was so lovely with her assistance, she was a beauty to behold, wink wink nudge nudge. The ending was probably our favorite part and we were still talking about some of the puzzles afterward. We've done quite a few escape rooms and this was definitely one of the more unique ones we've played. We'll be back to try another room! read more

We really enjoyed this escape room! We did the Wild West Jail Break which found a little easier than anticipated, but we're both experienced escape roomers. But it was really fun with some unique puzzles and clues in a multi-room experience, which I highly prefer. There was at least one clue that was very hard to read, which cost us some time, but they said the room is being redone soon. We're not from the area, but would go again if we could! read more

I love doing escape rooms with my girlfriends. We have tried some around town and Escape Game is our favorite! We did the Wild West jail break today and it was very interactive with all the props and puzzles. Definitely worth the price - Will be returning do escape the rest of the rooms! read more

We are an experienced group of room escapers. We've done dozens of rooms in dozens of places around the country. We tried 2 different rooms here at Escape Game Knoxville while in town. The rooms look fairly typical from the start, however we had a lot of troubles with both. Many things were illegible, or got stuck, or weren't working to the point that the staff had to come into the room to intervene. Things just seemed not well maintained and worn out here. We won't be giving any more money to this establishment, and would not recommend unfortunately. read more

Escape Game Knoxville may be my favorite escape room business I've ever participated in. We chose to do the "Purge" based room. Our escape room group has completed 12 escape rooms and lost only 2. This is one of those two rooms. Now, with me saying that we lost - you would think we would've left in bad spirits but honestly, this was the hardest but best escape room I've ever done. It made you think hard. It forced communication. It requires your undivided attention and camaraderie among your team just to make progress in moving forward. Needless to say, I'm a fan. I plan to come back to EGK and redo the purge as well as participate in some of the other rooms such as Villains Lair. I highly recommend you check out EGK when you're in Knoxville! read more

This was so much more fun than I thought it was going to be. We did the enchanted one and it was harder than I thought. The clues were great and the person watching over us was great giving hints when we needed it (bc I was super smart and left very important things behind ). Definitely looking forward to trying other rooms. Also, there is a cat in the waiting area, that always wins points with me. read more

EGK helped us out and accommodated our large group with no notice and everyone had a great time. The kids escaped from their room with 1 min remaining and the adults had a good time socializing in the common area. Not a good experience. We had a time booked for 4:45, showed up at 4:30, and no one ever came to get us. My husband finally knocked on one of the doors because we heard people talking, and a very young attendant came out and asked what we needed. Umm...we want to play the game we paid for?? He had to go get the room ready, which wasted another 20 minutes at least. Horrible service. I actually felt like I was somehow imposing on the business by showing up for our paid-for reservation. Great rooms and staff! The Wild West room was challenging and exciting. The villain room was creepy and fun!

The materials required to solve the room were not IN the room, specifically the expandable magnetic rod that allowed you to reach keys in a locked area. The attendant was NOT monitoring us as this was clearly missing and he didn't bring it to us until at least 40 minutes into the game. Also, after the game had started the attendant slipped a paper clue under the door that he had clearly forgotten to to place in the room. In addition, we asked for a WORKING marker (like it literally made no mark) repeatedly and got no response. When we asked for one of our two clues the attendant DID NOT respond in a timely fashion and did not make any sense and that is when he realized that the magnetic rod was NOT in the room. read more

Hidden location near downtown but great rooms. Morgan is absolutely amazing and her rooms are top notch. Love the fact that her rooms are designed in-house so you won't find them anywhere else. Wild West Jail Break is such a beautiful room and great puzzles with a super unique ending! Villain's Liar was especially fun with all the hidden twists and turns. There is so many unique artifacts to look at in the lobby too while you wait for your game time or even to spend a few minutes after! read more

This was the second time I was visiting to try my luck at a different room. The first time was the Villain's Lair. I was able to escape out of that with my friends. This time was The Purge. A VERY HARD set of rooms. I highly recommend it. It truly is only four people, which my group had. I enjoyed it very much even though we did not make it out of this one. My daughter is paralyzed from the waist down (recently in the last 2 yrs) to celebrate her 22nd birthday she decided she wanted to go to an Escape room. Naturally given her condition, I called to make SURE that the Villain's room was handicapped accessible, specifically wheel chair accessible. I was told absolutely and to go ahead a book the reservation, which I did. They day came to load up my daughter and head off the the Escape room (2 hours away) only to arrive and not see any ramp to the building. We parked, and called to find out where the ramp was and was told there was no ramp and most people in wheel chairs are "carried up" the stairs. I found this to be an unacceptable answer (rude and degrading to say the least) and went inside. There was a young women inside (who would not supply her name) who told me repeatedly, that we where told correctly on the phone that "The rooms where handicapped accessible" I replied, but if you cant "access" the building then you cant "access" the rooms. She said the building isn't accessible but the correct information was given about the rooms..... Really? She again asked if there was anyone with us that could carry my daughter up the LARGE set of stairs to the building. I am so thankful my daughter did not hear this suggestion as it was unbelievable and degrading. I again stressed my point that you should not claim the games are accessible if the building the games are housed in is NOT! I then asked for my money back, as we were certainly not carrying my daughter up the stairs. I was told there were no refunds and I could give my tickets to someone else, like a friend. I told her I would not be sending any business their way, ever! And again voiced my concern about the refund. I asked again for the name of the young lady working (she would not give it again) I also asked for a phone number I could call to speak to someone about a refund, again she refused. My point is this: If you are not fully handicapped accessible do NOT claim you are! If someone makes a mistake and tells a customer you are, only to find out you aren't, simply refund the money. We arrived on time, on our reservation day. Through no fault of our own, we were unable to use our tickets. Customer service went from BAD to AWFUL and completely UNEXCUSABLE. Anyone who is reading this and is handicapped beware! read more

Our experience with this business was horrible. We paid more than $200 for seven people to play a zombie scavenger hunt game called Knoxville Infection. The event was badly disorganized and absolutely nothing worked the way it was supposed to. We were told to be there no later than 5:30, but we didn't actually get started until nearly 8:00. After that, things went from bad to worse. We played for less than an hour because things were so badly done. Staff members were rude, and the owner won't refund my money because I posted a bad review of the event on Facebook. Now she has removed all negative reviews from the event page. I do not recommend this business at all. read more

This was phenomenal! My husband and I did the Once Upon A Time room and it was hands down the most beautifully handcrafted and unique room we have played! There were so many fine details and the decor itself was gorgeous. Lee was super nice, easygoing, and willing to help! My husband and I have done several escape rooms together, but this room had puzzles and locks that we had never seen before!! He also uses technology in a super fun and magical way! All the parts worked together and that made the entire experience that much more wonderful! 10/10 will come to Knoxville again just for Lee and his escape rooms!! read more

We really enjoyed this escape room. I've done one before and I thought this one was even better. We did the Villain's Lair room which was excellent and very original. I really enjoyed how the game maker could make laughing and clapping sound effects at us using a sound board. Adrian was an awesome game maker and a ton of fun! We will be back! read more

We tried out the escape game when they were first starting out, and we got to test one of their first rooms to open. What we found was a staff that was enthusiastic about what they were doing, and it translated into a great experience. The Escape Game is a fantastic outing for a small group, or even a work team building event. While it was tough, it was also fun. I'd highly recommend it! read more
