The throwing area is very roomy and helps you feel safe. I've been to other axe throwing places in the Houston area and not all of them seem to be as focused on customer safety, so I appreciated it. There's plenty to drink if you're thirsty as well and the playlist while we were there was great. Totally our demographic (it was 80's rock). Additionally, we were able to throw axes and knives. I've never thrown knives before and they were trickier than axes but it was very fun throwing them. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for axe throwing in this area.

We did the classic which is axe throwing for an hour for $32/person. You can upgrade to the axes and knives for $40 or upgrade to the premium which includes a dedicated host, a drink and a dedicated host. You start with a safety and throwing tutorial. They have a few game types they tell you about and give you a scoring sheet to guide you through play. I'm sure you can make your own games or rules but it's easiest to just follow the given games. Either way, you basically have at it for an hour. It's pretty fun and fairly easy to pick up. Tons of parking.

Of course I didn't read that'll I'll be doing the big ziplines! (Reading comprehension) That being said, you check in. You can purchase gloves(keep them for next time) and a holder for your phone if you want to record. They'll help you get suited up and go over the safety instructions. They'll let you practice as much as possible. Plus you have a whistle to call for help. I had a blast. The waiting is the hardest part of the obstacles because you're so high up. Once you lift off....you're home free.

Our reservation was at 11:30 AM, yet our group didn't get on the course until nearly 2 PM. First, we waited about 45 minutes just to get the kids into their harnesses. Then, we had to wait another 30 minutes for the safety instructions to begin--only for the staff to suddenly realize that none of our kids had gloves. We were never informed that gloves were required when we checked in, and it took another 20 minutes for them to track some down. Once that was resolved, the safety briefing took an additional 20 minutes because of our large group. Then when the kids lined up to start the course, the staff member said their harnesses weren't on correctly so he had to redo them all-mind you, their staff are the ones that put the harnesses on at the beginning. By the time the kids were finally ready to start, they had completely missed lunch and were starving. While they still managed to have fun on the course, the overall experience was incredibly frustrating due to the staff's poor coordination and lack of communication. This place is in desperate need of better management.
