This lounge is definitely a step up from the Delta sky Club across the hall in concourse B. It's better decorated, more modern looking, more space to hide yourself, and it felt brighter. I would say the food is on par with the Delta sky club. There is a bar of course although I don't drink so I didn't really test to see what I could get that was included in the membership. The buffet itself is actually pretty decent however I was here two days in a row due to a flight cancellation and they have the exact same food. Good salad bar, a couple of sandwich options, and some warmer options. The coffee machine did make espresso, latte, or cappuccino but it was still machine quality. Luckily they did have a soda machine as well as ice cold cucumber water. No cookies today for some reason though. Definitely more staff coming around to clean up. read more

Small lounge, located near B21 but better than most priority pass lounges. This is also the lounge equivalent for the Amex platinum card. Service is always quick and friendly. The food selection doesn't vary much, but breakfast potatoes, eggs, & grits are a good start to the morning. I also had a coma On sugar muffin that was delicious! Some days it's been super packed and hard to find an open seat, other days, there's 1-4 people in the lounge total. If you have access to the delta lounge- that lounge is located across the way at B15 and nicer/ larger. Overall, nice lounge for what they've done with the space and the quality of service. It's kinda hidden since you now have to go upstairs. The new space is much larger with ample seating. The staff were friendly. Breakfast had a few more items than before. Both times I've been it's been pretty full, but have always gotten in and gotten a seat. They have some decent cold salads like a chickpea salad and some others. Stopped in while waiting for my flight as this lounge is in the middle of many American Airline gates, in the B-Terminal. Checking in was smooth, friendly, and easy. The lounge is the smallest I've ever been to, but they seemed to have all the amenities. I stayed about 40 mins, took a couple of calls, and did some work and then left. Decent place that's adequate to get away from the busy airport terminal. read more

Been to Escape Lounge many times during travel. Its usually a place we hit up before go somewhere fun. So that being sad, I'll grab a Bloody Mary and their lemon pepper wings. Both are delicious and always hit the spot. Easy electronic ordering and paying gets you in/out quickly if needed. Friendly service and great alcohol selections. Very nice small little Amex lounge in the B terminal of CVG (near gate B21). Although it's small with only a few employees, the customer service is excellent. We were eyeing the food and two different employees noticed us skipping over the dishes and explained which were vegetarian. It was extremely thoughtful and observant. Overall they were super sweet and attentive. Food was really tasty (especially the meatless vegetarian meatballs today!). There's a few couches and chairs to sit in, but overall it's not too big. read more

Amex Escape lounge in CVG is a great experience for those that utilize the Delta Amex Platinum or Reserve cards. This is a members only lounge that offers access to private wifi, a full lounge with TVs. You also have access to good food and beverages are free for certain spirits and beers. They were open as of Nov 12,2020. They are also really doing things the right way I believe in here. It's always going to be tough to accommodate everyone during these covid times but you get a table here and a server will bring all food and drinks to you. No need to get up to get anything, they constantly come around so there isn't a lot of time where you need to wait for something new The food was great for complimentary lounge food and they have a wide array of options unlike the other lounges. Things come on plates and in bowls here I like the other lounges that are just giving things in plastic wrap. Drink menu is probably a little more limited than other lounges but still a good amount of wine, spirited, and beer. Overall, I'm glad they opened and I enjoy their protocols in place during these covid times. read more

I really wish they would step up their game at this mini lounge. I don't fly through CVG too often, but I was here in June and now again in September and the espresso machine is still broken. I will say their drip coffee is better than any other drip coffee I've tasted as of recent in a lounge setting, but fresh espresso for an early morning flight would be most appreciated. The floor is so sticky from a lack of proper cleaning that everyone's shoes were sticking to the ground in front of the coffee display. The food equally leaves a lot to be desired - "French toast" aka white bread smothered in fake caramel syrup and "chilaquiles" aka tortilla chips with dried out ground chorizo and a cold egg. I watched two couples walk in circle the small room and leave heading to presumably the Delta lounge. I know this is only a partner lounge, but it would be nice to see a bit more consistency amongst the lounge in the Amex collection. read more

They don't really come much better than this when you're looking at airport lounges. This lounge is by American Express and is their new smaller versions of their Centurion Lounges. There are 2 methods for entry---- The best and least costly is using an approved American Express Platinum credit card. The other form is by purchasing a pass or multi-pass which is a bit more costly at somewhere around $40 per person. Once you're in, the wifi is free as well as food, snacks and drinks (including alcoholic drinks). They may charge for certain types of liquor such as Glenfidditch scotch or other higher end liquors. I'm not sure about the cost, though since I only had a Beefeater & Tonic which was complimentary. They also have great small, tapas style foods such as prosciutto and other meats & cheeses as well as hot dishes such as pistachio crusted salmon or macaroni and cheddar. I had the salmon as well as a delicious spinach pocket and hot apple crumb pie. The hot dishes are in small cast iron pots (portable). They also have gourmet desserts as well as fresh vegetables and salads----single serving. It is quite small, but very intimate. It's a fraction of the size of the Delta Sky Club. They do have all flight schedules on monitors within the club. I hope to see more of these at other airports. read more

Not a great experience. I have been in this lounge before and it was small but nice. The last time there was a decent food selection for breakfast and some of the options were pretty tasty. There was a pre-made Apple French toast and an egg and biscuit option. The trip last week, not so much. I had the option of some terrible tasting grits (And I LOVE grits. Especially shrimp and grits) , muffins or a bagel. The muffin was ok, but obviously pre-packaged and small. One staff member was very attentive, so I tipped, but the other sat at one of the counters and did not interact with any of the guests. It started off nice, but has gone down hill. Hopefully they can revive the brand, considering the American Express name is on it. read more

This was first time stumbling onto this lounge. I wasn't sure what I needed to enter this lounge. Surprisingly it was sponsored by America Express. I just needed my platinum card to show, boarding pass and ID. Upon entering it was a quiet place where WiFi was free. There was food & beverages ( including small tapas, oatmeal, cookies, coffee, tea and.... alcoholic beverages (for the brand names liquor you'd have to pay)). I had a vegetarian frittata, boiled egg and a mimosa. I'll be honest the best part was being greeted by Shannon. She also was the bartender. She was friendly, personable and made you feel welcome. Yet another failed escape lounge visit, mostly a result of laughable hours. You don't open until 9? You realize most business flights have left by then? Blaming it on pandemic or staffing still? Escape lounges by far failed the most during the pandemic with maintaining consistency, often still closed even as airports were full. Now they're still barely open. American Express should deeply rethink their partnership with escape. Being able to open your doors would be a very basic first step in managing your business. 7a would be too late, but 9am in an airport is almost lunch time. Shame on you. read more

Very clean and Friendly service Kayla was managing when I was there. She's amazing, does everything and keeps the entire place neat and tidy. I had a 2 hour wait and during that time she took care of all customer needs, cleaned picked up dirty dishes, vacuumed, sanitized the leather chairs, vacuumed the cloth chairs, put food away at closing and did everything with a smile!!
