As a lowly Priority Pass member, it took a while for our party of 3 to get in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is due to the fact that there are no other lounges at PVD, and this particular lounge is rather small with limited seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You also get bumped in the queue if someone with higher priority membership (AA, Amex Plat, etc.) arrives. Once in, everything was smooth sailing. There's a small selection of F&B, and a very lively bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean bathroom and slow yet usable Wi-Fi.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Providence, Rhode Island is justly proud of its TS Green International Airport - the place is well designed and maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]An extremely helpful feature is the Escape Lounge, located near Gate 18. Free entry for Platinum AmEx and other cards on a short list; but space is limited, so keep that in mind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service once inside was great - Gamble tended bar as well as overseeing the transition from breakfast to lunch offerings and checking in guests (he was a very busy guy and handled his work with real grace and efficacy). Drink and food offerings were typical of AmEx partner lounges (there's one like this under a different brand name in Columbus (CMH) Ohio). [[HIGHLIGHT]]But there's probably not more than 800 square feet, so things can be a bit tight (the men's bathroom has a stall and a urinal, and that's it).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's just me but I cannot tolerate Brussel sprouts or broccoli, and the smell of them really permeated those 800 square feet when the lunch service began. Not a complaint really, it's just food with singular scents like these carry with them a risk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My guess is the place can accommodate fifty guests at a time, but once inside this is a wonderful safe refuge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]One of the smaller lounges I've been to, but it's at a small airport so possibly doesn't get that busy?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were there around 0740 on MLK Monday. Only two other groups and one individual. Nobody at the door upon entry but she followed up when she came out from the back and scanned my card. She also advised that some memberships allow more guests etc. I have priority pass so I know I'm allowed one guest free but that was a nice disclaimer. Coffee/latte machine, good syrup collection. Iced water sitting out. Didn't see juices but she offered juice when she checked on our table. Yogurt and boiled eggs were out and oatmeal too. The breakfast menu said scrambled eggs etc but I didn't get a good look or a picture so maybe at a certain time that comes out. There was cereal and muffins as well. Two eggs and a coffee were all we needed as our flight boarded at 0800. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Grateful for the lounge. Clean and quick stop for a snack![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oh there were assorted chips out too!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice lounge at the RI airport![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Used my Amex Platinum for admission and the breakfast options were good and chairs were comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lounge is on the first floor so you do have to take the stairs or elevator down to the first floor to access.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check in was easy and they did let us know that a remodeled lounge will be available soon on the second floor

I've been to lounges all over the world and what makes all the difference is service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My whole family had a wonderful relaxing time in this plucky little lounge, only steps from our gate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The front desk woman was incredible with my children. Honestly, staff don't usually pay attention to them and she gave out toys, checked on me because I was solo With the two of them, and offered to get drinks. Kelly went above and beyond. I will literally go out of my way to fly out of Providence instead of Boston just to enjoy this cute experience. Thank you so much to escape lounge!

Doesn't compare to the lounge in LAX, but still good. This lounge thankfully allowed me to bring in two relatives to enjoy some free food and alcoholic drinks. Not as big as LAX American Express Lounge which meant fewer seats and less amenities. Smaller food bar, but the food was still good. Same yummy chocolate cookies and oatmeal cookies as the LAX lounge. LOVED my free vodka and pineapple juice that the friendly bartender made for me. LAX lounge had larger plates, but the tiny plates only meant that I had to go to the food bar more often which was fine. LOVED making my own ramen bowl. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely come back and enjoy the quietness provided in the lounge.

    Cheers! Safe travels.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Tiny airport, tiny lounge - the TF Green Escape Lounge is about to get a makeover and become slightly less tiny.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I swung by and was shocked - if others showed up, it'd be standing room only.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Luckily, I visited early and beat the crowds. The breakfast buffet was pretty basic, but I did manage to sneak in a morning cocktail. The staff were super friendly and made everyone feel at ease.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Brand new, tiny, comfortable studio that sits toward the end of a small airport terminal. Quite comfortable and easy to get to[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The foremost selling points of this lounge is that it is not overcrowded and it sits directly on the airport tarmac, allowing for an experience and views rarely encountered by passengers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Depending on your level of fascination with such things, the latter may be quite memorable. Likewise, the service, cleanliness, and amount of prepared and to-go foods are all above standard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]An abundance of seating options and types also caters to any number of preferences.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My lukewarm evaluation, however, is attributed to the food not being the most exceptional, as well as the lack of additional amenities; and a rather plain interior. This is a *good* lounge, but my comparison encompasses all other lounges. [[HIGHLIGHT]]An update to the restrooms, sleeping pods, or showers may go a long way; or an improved selection of foods.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To their credit, I must say there are ample amounts of healthy and yet decently flavored foods; and that it is impressive how much they were able to pack in to such a tight space.

Welcoming lounge, Kelli came to the entrance and welcomed into the lounge and explained the drink menu and the food options. Julio cooked some delicious food. It had a relaxing atmosphere and I am looking forward to going back. Nancy was also fun to chat with, both Kelli and Nancy are amazing ladies.

This airport was clean and manageable overall, but let's talk honestly about the rental car…read moresituation -- it is EXTREMELY far and completely walkable only. After a long travel day, dragging luggage that distance is definitely not ideal, so be prepared for a serious walk if you're renting a vehicle. Also... no Starbucks? Absolutely wild. For an airport, that honestly feels unbelievable. Sometimes travelers just want something familiar, quick, and dependable before or after a flight, and not having one was definitely noticed. The airport itself is currently under construction in some areas, but that had nothing to do with the rental car location or the lack of a Starbucks. Those were simply the biggest inconveniences of the experience for me personally. Other than that, the airport experience was decent enough, but definitely wear comfortable shoes and plan accordingly if you're renting a car.

I lived in Rhode Island for many years and always found this airport to be convenient and…read moreefficient. It has frequently been renovated and always was nice but right now it is difficult to tell what's happening because there is so much construction going on all at once. This is resulted in crowding at the gates and into major inconveniences like the only bathrooms being at gate12 so if you're at gate one or two it's quite a walk to get there. Today's adventure started early in the morning because I had a flight at 8 AM so we arrived around six. I had a rental car and absolutely no idea how to get to the place to drop it off. The signage is poor at best after a few misfires, I finally found it and then begins my morning exercise. It is far from the rental cars to the terminal so the walk is quite formidable. They do have moving sidewalks which helps, but it just seems like an inefficient system for an airport of this size. The efficiency of the airport is excellent. One of the best TSA I've ever dealt with. Quick efficient and friendly. I use CLEAR plus and it literally took seconds to get through. But with an early flight, it would be nice to have some breakfast and the choices are dismal. There's a Dunkin' Donuts with a line that pretty much includes everybody waiting for a flight. There are two restaurants which are empty and there's no doubt in my mind that that is because of high prices unlimited food choices. Two eggs $24, chicken and waffles. $24. They're stuck on that steep number for not much of a breakfast. Would love some breakfast choices. We will see when the construction is over. All in all the efficiency of the airport, both at arrival and departure is excellent. That is why despite the problems while construction is going on and the long haul to get the rental car and return it it is still a four star experience. With a couple of tweaks, it could be five stars.

After being in some huge airports this surprisingly little airport was such a change a d fun to see. I think my small house is bigger. The faucets in the bathrooms were very cute. The place was clean and everyone friendly. There is a playground on the side of the building under shade. The Restuarant has three sides of windows is small enough you can see the runway right there and the planes take off. Our food was very tasty and the service prompt. I had the tortilla soup to start but it was too spicer for me and the server changed it out for their clam chowder soup which was served very hot, full of clams and tasted really good. I would say second to the soup we ate at Martha's Vineyard chowder at Oak Bluffs( they had the best I ever tasted) I had a garden salad which was a very nice size; full of different lettuces, onions, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives. My granddaughter and I shared a hamburger and fries. Again good portion and tasted very good. I recommend stopping here for an hour or so, if this is your thing. Next time, we are definitely going to try their signature cocktail - The Jungle Bird (served in a cage): bumbu rum, campari, amaretto, lime, pineapple, brown sugar, pineapple wedge.
