The Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport is on a bit small, but it has its charm as it makes traveling through the airport easy. There is only one lounge in the airport, the Escape Room and like the airport, it has its charm and is outstanding - the food, drinks, and the service makes it truly awesome. When my buddy and I arrived at the airport early, we hiked a bit to the North Concourse between Gates 18 and 20, walked downstairs (there's also an elevator) and signed in using my Priority Pass...Chelsea checked us in, informed us about the set up, and since it was a bit early, she also tended bar, pouring beer, making mimosas, as well as spicy bloody marys. Her pleasant and professional demeanor and service with a smile was infectious. In addition to Chelsea's outstanding service, the food in the Escape Room is great, much better in taste and selection than many of the other lounges I have visited throughout my travels. The Escape Lounge in the T.F. Green International Airport is definitely a lounge worth visiting...well, at the airport, it's the only option, but well worth visiting. read more

This was my first time using this lounge. It is located downstairs of the boarding gates. When I arrived there was a waitlist to join. There were 9 people ahead of me but I got in in less than 10min. It is a small lounge but has a full bar, hot and and cold food options. The staff and customer service were really great! Everyone was no nice and friendly, especially Jen behind the bar. Food was refilled frequently. They do have a cap on the number of drinks you can get from the bar. read more

Visitors beware. Being small is ok for a lounge but being filled with varying smells, loud "Vegas lounge-like" music, and random doorbell noises every few minutes is unacceptable. Add to this the numerous signs highlighting that the bathrooms are not maintained by Escape. They were absolutely disgusting. This lounge should not be part of the Delta or Amex Delta reserve card network. I appreciate the lounges we are fortunate to have access to to entering and this is the first one my wife and I exited choosing gate seating over comfortable chairs and miscellaneous food and drinks. read more

Considering the fact that this lounge is in TF Green, it's not horrible. It is, however, extremely small. There are a very limited number of spaces available and the seats are crammed in tightly to allow for as many people as possible. Even though it's small, I found the food selection to be pretty good. There were many more options than my recent trip to one of the airport lounges in the Boston airport, so that's definitely a plus. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It looks like there may be construction happening for a new escape lounge in TF Green, so if that's the case, I'm hopeful it will be more spacious. Overall, though, it's a great place to grab a drink or a snack while you're waiting for your flight. read more

As a lowly Priority Pass member, it took a while for our party of 3 to get in. This is due to the fact that there are no other lounges at PVD, and this particular lounge is rather small with limited seating. You also get bumped in the queue if someone with higher priority membership (AA, Amex Plat, etc.) arrives. Once in, everything was smooth sailing. There's a small selection of F&B, and a very lively bar. Clean bathroom and slow yet usable Wi-Fi. read more

Providence, Rhode Island is justly proud of its TS Green International Airport - the place is well designed and maintained. An extremely helpful feature is the Escape Lounge, located near Gate 18. Free entry for Platinum AmEx and other cards on a short list; but space is limited, so keep that in mind. Service once inside was great - Gamble tended bar as well as overseeing the transition from breakfast to lunch offerings and checking in guests (he was a very busy guy and handled his work with real grace and efficacy). Drink and food offerings were typical of AmEx partner lounges (there's one like this under a different brand name in Columbus (CMH) Ohio). But there's probably not more than 800 square feet, so things can be a bit tight (the men's bathroom has a stall and a urinal, and that's it). It's just me but I cannot tolerate Brussel sprouts or broccoli, and the smell of them really permeated those 800 square feet when the lunch service began. Not a complaint really, it's just food with singular scents like these carry with them a risk. My guess is the place can accommodate fifty guests at a time, but once inside this is a wonderful safe refuge. read more

This visit was extremely disappointing. The staff's attitude was horrible!!! The bartender was rude and no pleasant demeanor from one person. New staff came in with a worse attitude, and carried through to the service and the mood of the small space. The dishes were dirty, no glasses to get water. I asked twice for black tea. The second person said no without looking, and the food is not great compared to other lounges. I am extremely disappointed and hope this same crew doesn't go to the new location. One of the smaller lounges I've been to, but it's at a small airport so possibly doesn't get that busy? We were there around 0740 on MLK Monday. Only two other groups and one individual. Nobody at the door upon entry but she followed up when she came out from the back and scanned my card. She also advised that some memberships allow more guests etc. I have priority pass so I know I'm allowed one guest free but that was a nice disclaimer. Coffee/latte machine, good syrup collection. Iced water sitting out. Didn't see juices but she offered juice when she checked on our table. Yogurt and boiled eggs were out and oatmeal too. The breakfast menu said scrambled eggs etc but I didn't get a good look or a picture so maybe at a certain time that comes out. There was cereal and muffins as well. Two eggs and a coffee were all we needed as our flight boarded at 0800. Grateful for the lounge. Clean and quick stop for a snack! Oh there were assorted chips out too! read more

Nice lounge at the RI airport! Used my Amex Platinum for admission and the breakfast options were good and chairs were comfortable. The lounge is on the first floor so you do have to take the stairs or elevator down to the first floor to access. 4th or 5th time stopping into the Escape Lounge at PVD. Quick check in with Am Ex platinum card. The lounge was busy and one of the 3 ladies on the floor assisted with seating and asked what I would like to drink. Very nice service. I'm sorry, do not remember her name but the staff are all helpful and nice. The food selection for a small lounge was plentiful. The clam chowder was excellent and the mini sandwiches were tasty. It was a nice start to a trip. One of the reasons PVD is a great airport. read more

I've been to lounges all over the world and what makes all the difference is service. My whole family had a wonderful relaxing time in this plucky little lounge, only steps from our gate. The front desk woman was incredible with my children. Honestly, staff don't usually pay attention to them and she gave out toys, checked on me because I was solo With the two of them, and offered to get drinks. Kelly went above and beyond. Doesn't compare to the lounge in LAX, but still good. This lounge thankfully allowed me to bring in two relatives to enjoy some free food and alcoholic drinks. Not as big as LAX American Express Lounge which meant fewer seats and less amenities. Smaller food bar, but the food was still good. Same yummy chocolate cookies and oatmeal cookies as the LAX lounge. LOVED my free vodka and pineapple juice that the friendly bartender made for me. LAX lounge had larger plates, but the tiny plates only meant that I had to go to the food bar more often which was fine. LOVED making my own ramen bowl. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely come back and enjoy the quietness provided in the lounge. read more

This is the perfect place to relax before a flight. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Everything feels clean and well-maintained. Remember that they don't open until 6 am so if you have an early flight and you're there in the predawn darkness, you can't come until they open at 6 am. The food is fresh and delicious. There's a mix of hot and cold options and lots of packaged stuff for those who keep kosher. Snacks and drinks are always available. The coffee is strong, and the cocktails are well-made. It's so much better than typical airport food. The staff are friendly and attentive. They make you feel like a guest, not just a customer. The seating is comfortable and spaced out, with outlets literally everywhere. You can find quiet spots to work or relax. Charging stations are all over the bar area as well. Getting in is easy if you have the right credit card or are willing to pay. I get in for free with the AmexEx platinum card (the one that lets you into the Centurion clubs). It's worth it for the peace and perks. The Wi-Fi is fast and perfect for catching up on work or streaming. Restrooms are clean and conveniently located inside the lounge through this back hall in the first lounge (easy to miss!). This is a little luxury in a hectic airport. Tiny airport, tiny lounge - the TF Green Escape Lounge is about to get a makeover and become slightly less tiny. I swung by and was shocked - if others showed up, it'd be standing room only. I was so excited to start my mini vacation off in style at this new lounge! I spent $90 for two adults. It is $55 each if you show up day of and less if you book before. The woman checking us in couldn't find our reservation and seemed a little suspicious of us. I pulled up my email and she checked us in. There is seating but the lounge was busy so there was little selection of where we could sit. The food was sparse, cereal, oatmeal, old scrabbled eggs, sausage ( that was good), potatoes (generic but good) a few boiled eggs, and a few cookies. There was a good coffee section but the fruit out was not plentiful, just some cut fruit. The food was not replenished often, it seemed. Although most cocktails are free, there is no bottled water, no toast, or pastry other than cookies. For $90 I thought it wasn't worth it. I was expecting it to be posh and plentiful but it ended up being very disappointing. The bartender was the best part of the experience! He was friendly and helpful. You could actively see him making drinks, cleaning up plates and more. The check in lady seemed to only engage with some people. Overall it needs work. But if you get it free, and you are near it, stop in for a free drink. read more

Brand new, tiny, comfortable studio that sits toward the end of a small airport terminal. Quite comfortable and easy to get to. The foremost selling points of this lounge is that it is not overcrowded and it sits directly on the airport tarmac, allowing for an experience and views rarely encountered by passengers. Depending on your level of fascination with such things, the latter may be quite memorable. Likewise, the service, cleanliness, and amount of prepared and to-go foods are all above standard. An abundance of seating options and types also caters to any number of preferences. My lukewarm evaluation, however, is attributed to the food not being the most exceptional, as well as the lack of additional amenities; and a rather plain interior. This is a *good* lounge, but my comparison encompasses all other lounges. An update to the restrooms, sleeping pods, or showers may go a long way; or an improved selection of foods. To their credit, I must say there are ample amounts of healthy and yet decently flavored foods; and that it is impressive how much they were able to pack in to such a tight space. read more

As far as airport lounges go, this one is just ok. It looks like it's fairly new, but it's very small with very limited capacity. They also put it at the ramp level, which shouldn't be a big deal but twice in an hour people used the wrong door near the bathroom, which set off a very loud alarm. It turns out that door goes straight outside to the ramp, which feels like a security hazard. The food was standard fare and free drinks were available at the bar. This place is the only lounge option at PVD airport, so it's better than sitting at the gate, but that's only if you can get a spot. Good luck! read more

A hidden gem at gate 18 of TF Green Airport. Access is free if you're an American Express Platinum cardholder. You'll need your boarding pass and card for verification. If you don't hold that credit card, admission at the time of this writing was $30. Located on the lower level, accessible by elevator or stairs; this lounge is smaller than others that I've frequented. There is a QR code to scan to see the list of complimentary drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). There are some light bites that are self serve. Seating can be close if you're visiting during a busy travel time. The bartender may not know all the drinks but extended effort in trying to make it or offering an alternative. Well lighted and clean, I would choose to wait for my flight in this lounge than in the crowded gate area. read more

This is an excellent little airport lounge - mainly because the staff is so amazing. They have good seating and food and drinks, but the people make the difference. The staff is constantly roaming to bus tables and clean floors/carpets and check on guests and deliver beverages. They welcome you enthusiastically and are so friendly during the entire visit. There were food crumbs everywhere, and it looked like it hasn't been vacuumed the whole day, and there were stains on the chairs and sofas. The food and service was amazing. This is the only lounge at PVD airport and it is well below the standards of other Escape Lounges that I've been in. Yes there is free alcohol, it's generally pretty quiet, and the staff is great, but it falls short on food. There was just some limited soggy egg bakes and some yogurt for breakfast. They brought out the lunch a little after 12, and it had a few additional options. The coffee machine is broken (so there is no coffee that I can see), the seltzer dispenser has flat tap water. I'd far rather hang out in a lounge and use my Centurion benefits, which don't come cheap, but some TLC for this lounge is needed. read more

Drove through heavy traffic coming out of Cape Cod and arrived at Providence TF Green Airport three hours earlier than our flight. Wasn't sure platinum American Express had privileges anywhere on site but was pointed toward the Escape lounge Studio. What a pleasant spot! Sherwin Leera made us feel welcome at the front desk, pointed out all the amenities then personally served us perfectly sized hot small plates including salmon over rice, tomato bisque and warm cookies! A Native of Trinidad he certainly made our two hour stay feel like we had a welcome full of "Island hospitality"! First time at an Escape Lounge and I was pleased by the overall experience. The Escape Lounge is an American Express Centurion partner. Providence is not a large airport, but this lounge offered ample space to relax and grab a bite or get some work done before a flight. The employees were friendly and we were greeted quickly upon entry. The food was tasty - I had a cornbread and beef dish that was surprisingly good, although the mixed greens salad was definitely wilted and not tasty. There were plenty of Coca Cola drinks, coffee and tea, an espresso machine, cookies and other snacks available. For those who drink alcohol, there is also a full bar. Overall this is a nice lounge and worth checking out when at PVD. read more
