I have to start by saying that Hannah gave me the best pedicure of my life. Although she's super quiet, she did an amazing job. The milk and honey pedicure was worth every penny, and my feet feel great. As far as my dip manicure went, it left some room for improvement. Van was great, super sweet. However, not only was there some confusion about what I initially asked for, I feel like the shape and such of my nails could have been done better. I just feel they're a bit wide at the top, and the shaping could have been more narrow to make them look more natural. Despite slight issues with my nail set, I will be going back to give Van another try. I think I need to be a bit more assertive and tell her what could be done better. I've made an appointment for next month, and my hope is that my next set will be perfect. read more

This is the primary location I come to to get my nails done because it's conveniently located and I prefer the people over the other nail shop close to me. When I come I usually don't have to wait long before I'm taken back and I appreciate that. This last time the lady who did my nails was particularly nice and did a great job on my pedicure, she even brought out a pillow for me to use as back support when we found out the chair wouldn't work. I wish I would have gotten her name because I would prefer her doing my pedicures going forward. I've been to this particular nail salon 3x. I always believe in trying something out more than once before deciding not to go back. My husband surprised me with a Mother's Day gift card to this establishment not knowing I had decided not to return, even though it is literally walking distance from my house (.3 miles). First of all, they try to push you to get everything under the sun. I don't particularly like pushy sales people. Secondly, they are $5 more expensive than a lot of places. But most of all, they don't do as good a job. I got a red gel nail manicure and the edges are horrible. There are gaps, smudges and they are just not good. If I were not pregnant and tired, I'd go back and have them redo it. I'll try to post pictures so you can see what I am talking about. Le Nails (where I go- look at my other yelps for location) does 6 coats of gel and it is SPOT ON every time (total of around a dozen times so far) and this place only does 4 coats and it shows. However, the pedicure looks good, but then again, I can't bend down to really examine it given my 8+ month pregnant belly :) read more

I had the worse experience today. After I read good review from this salon I thought that I will give it a chance. The owner Linda tried to convince me to do the dip. I asked her for experience And hood tech. She did a very slappy job on my nails( the poweder was not covering my nail, it was very thick, she damaged my cuticuls)and when I complained another guy name Ethan came he removed my dip and while he was doing Mu cuticule were damage and bloody. At the end my nails were not looking natural and they were very thick that he had to remove alot. When I was paying even though I wasn't happy, linda charged me extra 5$ because the cleaned my cuticule which I never know it is extra charage. I saw I made a big mistake right away, this place looked gloomy, messy and dusty while the employees were sitting and doing nothing, it was loud and did not smell welcoming. I went for gel manicure, one lady did nail cleaning and filing and another one coloring. She was not talkative at all which I liked it but I wish she did a better job. My nails literally started to chip right away. It cost me $50.00 and I was not a happy customer. I don think I will ever go back there. read more

Well let me start off by saying I had a pedicure and a fill it took two hours and 50 minutes it was not because I had to wait for the lack of nail techs it just took that long I did not get their extra pedicure. I like the pedicure the person did a really great job on it now it's going to the fill I got I always get the pink and white French manicure looking nails they are uneven on the white part where it should just have a nice round next to it no it is very uneven they had a hard time getting The top of the nail straight because I like the square with the rounded tip it was just a mess. I've been here twice. The first time they took me back to the chair for my pedicure, where I waited with my feet in lukewarm water for 30 minutes until the technician came. I figured I would give it another try since it's very close to my house, and was disappointed when, again, I was seated and then had to wait 35 minutes for s technician. I would much more prefer to be told there is a wait because both times I've had stuff to do afterward and was only planning to be there 1 hour tops, but both times I wasn't out of there for and hour and a half or and hour and fourth five minutes. The work itself the first time was pretty good and the technician was nice. The work this time I'm not very satisfied with, and had to ask for multiple corrections. Additionally, there was a dead fly on my arm rest. Won't be coming back and will continue going to Deluxe Nails on Heritage Trace. read more

The lady that greeted us and set us up for our nail appointment was very friendly and hospitable. There was nothing wrong during my visit. Only yesterday was it that both of my daughters got their nails painted and the paint is already coming off and getting chipped. Elsewhere it has lasted at least for one week. I also can't believe I paid $30 for my gel nails and I did not get the color I picked at all! Escape Nail Salon has been around for several years now. The owner Sabrina does a fantastic job on gel manicures, eyebrow waxing and even does eyelash extensions and permanent make up. I have personally tried the eyelash extension and can tell you that they look just as good, if not better than when I had them done at The Lash Lounge. You will not be disappointed here. My mom is disabled and called this nail shop to see about getting serviced (pedicure and manicure). The person who answered the phone was rude. She simply asked if they would be able accommodate her as she cannot stand or walk. She asked if they had the foot bath instead of just the spa Chairs. The person said " we can't help you " and hung up. I think this is very rude and should have been handled in a professional manner. Sometimes people have to put themselves in other people "shoes" to understand the situation. Needless to say we are still looking for somewhere that she can be accommodated, even if she doesn't get then"spa chair" treatment. read more

I'm really sad to do such a low review, because the nail tech did a good job with the gel and the manicure as a whole looks very nice (just got it done, so I'm not sure how long it will last). However, there were a lot of things wrong with my experience. First, just the general dustiness and lack of cleanliness was a turn off. There was dust everywhere--coating the tv cables, counters, etc. Second, the actual tools and supplies used for the manicure were just gross. I came in with short nails that the nail tech didn't even have to clip. I noticed that there were two significant nail clippings on the towel I was asked to put my hands on about halfway through the manicure--they were not mine. The towel hadn't been changed or washed since the manicure before me. I had to ask for a new towel. The tech noticed that the little clippers he was about to use for my cuticles hadn't been cleaned yet. He went and got a second pair from the container, unwrapped them, they were obviously not clean either. He tried to put them away before I'd noticed and was getting up to get yet another when I just told him to skip my cuticles. The black nail file left black specks all over the hands, I had to ask for a different one. Etc. etc. etc. Disappointing all around, I think I'll stick to my place that $5 more but much, much nicer. TLDR: Too expensive for subpar experience. read more

Services are rather pricey (and they upsell on top of that) but they are worth it. The salon is nice inside, and the most basic pedicure is quite lengthy and includes some nice extras (parafin, hot stone, infused rubs). My nail tech was really kind and did a great job. The pricing makes it less suitable as a mantinence pedicjre place, but certainly great for a special treat. read more

My sister in law was visiting from Atlanta and this nail saloon is walking distance from my house, so we both decided to try it out. And I am so glad we did. This was by far the best pedicure I ever had. I had the Cucumber wrap one, which was amazing, the cool of the cucumber and then hot stones is so relaxing. She had the cappuccino/coffee one I believe. We both had manicures. This place is a lot bigger than it looks, Tons of pedicure seats, the place was packed and we did not have to wait. I highly recommend this place!!! I've been going to Lily for about 5 years and I absolutely love her and the way she does my nails! She can do any design and shape and is always more than willing to make my nails look exactly the way I want them. I'm super picky and will knit pick tiny things and Lily goes above and beyond to make sure they are perfect every time!!
