I loved the service and I'm pretty picky! Long and his wife stayed late for my mom and I. We asked to come back after hours and stayed late on their Friday, so sweet. I feel like most nail places I go the nail techs are a little rude and don't listen to your concerns but they listened to everything even though it as two hours past their closing time. He also made sure the acrylics were thin enough to my liking. I'm pretty picky but I loved it, and they took their time on our pedicures, very relaxing. The two of them are very funny, making jokes a lot. When we came late he teased us, about being late. And just look at my nails. So cute!!! read more

Johnny did a great job on my pedicure. clean pleasing environment, relaxing chairs, he went the extra mile for my sparkle top coat. yes prices are high but everything in whitefish is high now, I'm assuming because commercial rents have skyrocketed. escape is still slightly less than other nail salons in the Flathead area. read more

We were visiting the in laws this week and she wanted to go get pedicures. Escape Nails Spa was able to accommodate us as a last minute appointment for the day. They had a wide variety of colors to choose from in regular or gel polish. They did an amazing job on removing callus and cuticles. The polish looked smooth and pretty! They used a pomegranate scented scrub, lotion, and mask set and it smelled so nice! They definitely got my toes ready for the summer. read more

What a nightmare! Let me tell you about the most chaotic salon experience of my life. First off, they butchered my cuticles on five fingers--FIVE. It took a mind-numbing 3.5 hours for four of us to get a simple gel mani-pedi. That's not even the wildest part. I walk in, carrying a matcha and a latte--being the thoughtful bridesmaid, you know--when out of nowhere, the guy doing my friend's pedicure stands up, snatches the matcha right out of my hand, TAKES A SIP, and then hands it to my friend, saying, "You won't get poisoned now." Seriously?! Oh, it gets worse. $130 for a basic mani-pedi, and for the bride? $220 because she opted for the "deluxe" pedicure that included, wait for it... nothing extra. No hot stones, no wax treatment, nada. So here's a tip: even if you're desperate and didn't make a reservation anywhere else, skip this place. We *had* a reservation, and it still took 3.5 hours. I've had services from LA to the Caribbean to Mexico and to Boston and nothing compares to my little old town of Whitefish and escape nails The owner and his wife are usually there when I get my nails done and I really love their friendliness and quality of service. They have lots of other very trained employees as well and I have never been disappointed. They always make sure they know exactly what I want and they always make sure that it looks and feels perfectly before I get moved onto another service I travel all the time and I stay away from Whitefish parts of the winter, but I only get my pedicures in WHITEFISH at escape nails from Long and An! they are the best read more

I am in the area for the summer and wanted to get a pedicure, but the place I've gone before was too busy and I was on a tight timeline. As I was driving back towards Kalispell, from Whitefish, I saw this place and decided what they heck, even with only one yelp review that was poor, I was on a time crunch and was feeling adventurous! Upon walking in, I was glad to see the place was reasonably busy, and very clean. The amount of color choices in nail polish was outstanding, and they carry the OPI brand, which I really like, so I was pretty sure this was going to be fine. They line the foot tubs with a one use plastic liner, which always makes me feel safer. Everyone was wearing masks as well, so for Covid, this was also reassuring. The pedicure itself was fine. One of my favorite parts of getting a pedicure is the massage, so that is why I docked them a star, it wasn't a great or very long massage, but, the lady doing my nails took her time on my nails, and did a very nice job on the polish. I agree with the negative comments. During my pedi, they asked if I wanted callus remover- $10 extra (what!). I said no and then she spoke in her language and they all laughed. My feet are pretty smooth already. I had a dip manicure with someone else and the dip is Lodi g after 1 1/2 weeks. I normally go 3 weeks. Going to pay, I gave my credit card and she pointed to my wallet and said she wanted my cash. I said mo, I have plans for that. They the. Pressured me to open a Vemo account. DO NOT GO HERE! THE WORST - Everyone is joking around and you wait. The manicurist and pedicurist have a race for who can get out the quickest. The job is terrible and they don't offer to fix a mistake in the salon. The product they are using is cheap and you are lucky to get through the evening. If you are going here, wear gloves. read more

Literally destroyed my nails. I have never left a review and typically wouldn't but I had to walk out of the salon. I had dip powder on my nails and to remove it they used the file machine and not only filed the powder but layers of my nails. I naturally have strong nails and now they are unnaturally layers thinner. When I asked them not to keep filing, they got vocally irritated. The filing job is terrible- all different shapes. I had to stop them and end my session. Walked out with long beautiful nails on one hand that they had not yet destroyed , and one hand with short, thin, all different shaped nails. I've had dozens of mani/pedis in my life--some not so great--but this is the only experience I've had that has deemed a negative review. Long story short, I asked for a color change because I'd just had a spray tan and didn't want a full mani/Pedi. The lady talked me into dip, and she did a fine job on my nails. However, a gentleman sat down and painted my toes with regular polish. It took him 10 minutes. He cut my nails uneven, didn't file, and then I had to later had to show him that one of my toe nails wasn't only half painted! Finally, they tried to charge me $45 for "pedicure" with regular polish. After I debated the cost, he told me to "hurry up" as I was paying. He was also very rude to one of the other customers. I should have listened to the other reviews, but I thought, "it can't be that bad". I was wrong. It's hard to believe this place is still in business. read more

I'm not one to bash small businesses, but this was the worst manicure I've ever had. She used a dremel tool (no acetone) to remove my old gel polish and ended up putting huge divots in my already thin nails. It was painful as was her use of the cuticle cutting tool...taking chunks of my skin off without care. Ouch! I went back to my regular manicurist and she was shocked at what she saw. So much so that she recommended completely growing my nails out before doing any polishing again. The surface of all of my nails are now very uneven and terribly thin. They hurt! So, I do not recommend this place at all. It was a huge mistake to go there. read more

Unfortunately this was a rough experience. My sisters, mom, and I went in to get our nails done for an upcoming wedding. The ladies doing our pedicures made fun of my sister and clearly were mocking her in another language. My mom doesn't get her nails done often and they continuously scolded her and slapped her several times so she left crying. I would never recommend this place. I went to this nail Salon for a mani pedi. The nail tech cut my fingers not once but twice!! I couldn't believe it. I left the salon! She was very inexperienced and obviously needs more training. Salon owner asked me as I'm holding my bleeding finger wrapped in a Kleenex if I wanted him to complete the manicure!. Uh, no. I'll go somewhere where they know what they're doing. Avoid place!! Was in town on vacation. Had a few hours to kill before my flight and decided to stop by. I literally wanted to walk out within 2 mins of my pedi. He realized I noticed he skipped two parts of my pedi and went on to then charge me $70 for a so called regular pedi ($35), regular mani ($20) and extra ten for callus removal which he lightly did. It wasn't till after I left that I realized he kept $5 for himself. Haven't had a bad experience in a long time but it definitely makes me appreciate the hard working nail technicians in Ca that actually do a good job and are transparent with their pricing.
