This is truly fun for all ages! I was looking for something fun for my family to do on a Saturday night, and I'm so happy I ran across this place. I booked the "captains Quarters" escape room, as well as a splatter room. We did them back to back. The splatter room was 30 minutes, and the escape room was an hour. I loved that in the splatter room there's a Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your own music. About halfway through we were asked if we wanted to turn the lights out and it was super cool and fun. You get a canvas to take home too. The escape room we did was the captain quarters. Kelly was a game master and she was absolutely amazing! It's interactive, it's fun, and you can get clues if you need some assistance. We were able to escape with time to spare. At the completion of the escape room, we all got bracelets. This is an old converted mansion in each room is different. They have more rooms in the basement. My family of 4 ranges from ages 13 to 66 and we all had a fantastic time and want to come back and try other escape rooms.

For most of my group, this wasn't our first rodeo... Coming into the challenge we were amped and ready to cement our victory... The complete opposite happen... #FAIL... Yeah, we needed about 1 more minute. All I will say is "dang puzzle"!!! Bottomline, we had a lot of fun working together. Most places usually have 2 or 3 rooms, but this one had a bunch of rooms as we were escorted out of the main building into an adjacent building for our challenge. We did the "Lost Dutchman" and while reading another person's review, I can definitely say we had to request a lot more clues than expected. I'd steer clear of this one unless you have some puzzle freaks in the group!

Nice place located inside historic house in downtown Mesa. Place was clean, friendly and helpful staff. Price is fair. Had a lot of fun.

I do recommend not wearing any thick or heavy clothes and bringing as little items as possible, because you will be moving A LOT and sweating will be your enemy. They have a bar and restaurant as well, but we didn't get a chance to go. Definitely will be back, and next time need to go for 4 hours! I think we did 2 hours and it didn't feel like enough time.

We tried one game about 8 times and made zero progress so just quit trying. 2. Some of the games are extremely physical. If you pass level one of a game, you move to level two. If you fail level two, you restart the entire game. This happened to us in one of the room several times. I like the concept, but both of these things are incredibly frustrating. We'll probably go back and see if we're any smarter or fitter than we were before. If you're in great physical shape, this is a good place to exert a lot of energy!

It was fun, with costumes and accessories to set the mood before you get into the room. The whole place had a coherent vibe from the second you walk in the door, and they do a good job of tuning you to their frequency. The theme is a sort of technological dystopia, cyber-punk with a touch of steampunk nostalgia. The room itself had a dynamic level of difficulty. I enjoyed the story, which followed us throughout and made sense with the aesthetic. The hints are just right to keep play active but engaging. The puzzle involves some moving around, but nothing physical enough to alienate people. (I had a knee injury acting up and I could do everything just fine.) Staff was helpful, and shared cool facts about their process and vision. We can't wait to go back when they open another room!
