We decided to do Lady Alexandra. The instructions were clear. The puzzles were difficult but all made sense. We did need some clues to help us along though and it was easy to use the walkie talkie to request them. We had a full hour and could see the timer in the main room. She was super kind~ We did the basketball one (rated at easy, 50% pass rate, up to 6 ppl in a room) as a warmup. If 6 people were in this small room, it would definitely feel claustrophobic. It wasn't too challenging or simple. The hardest thing was how to use the walkie talkie since it was my first time LOL. Angelica had to interventions and tell us to let go of the black button on the walkie talkie. We were a bit stumped with how some of the puzzles work because I never thought I could do this in particular to find clues. Some of the visuals and props could've needed some work like painting, antiqueness, and productional set up. But the room was pretty clear with what needed to be solved. Their wooden placards for escaping or failing the puzzle were mediocre though The person working when we ended took some not great pictures (and very crooked) but kind enough to retake . Another thing so I didn't like is that when we opened the final door to the actual room, the timer kept going. So we don't really know when we finished (or if we were even close to the leaderboard). The room and floor were also freezing cold.

It was also a shorter timed game, but at the same price as the other games. Come to find out that they were booked, almost solid, for a corporate event. Really kind of sucked, as it is the closest escape game in the downtown area. Located in the Hub, near to many hotels, great alternative thing to do. But nearly impossible to actually use because of the demand this place has. Anyway, we showed up on the last day. Around the middle of the day, when they kind of just opened. And still, corporate events had taken over the place. We had to settle on the 45-minute game. Paid, waiver signed, instructions given and we were inside the room. You area allowed clues here, however, there are so many things wrong in this particular room that you will get unsolicited clues throughout. Especially since a bunch of things are misleading, explained wrong, or just not in working order. We kept getting interrupted by the staffer telling us not to do that, or that what happened should have not happened already. I know, how could something happen that shouldn't happen. But this game needs maintenance done on it, or at least update the props because they look ragged. The thing that happened was that you needed to collect four items and place them on the designated spot. Once all area placed the door was to open. However, we only got two up there and the door popped open. That's when we were interrupted and told not to d that yet. I think, after that, the staffer felt bad for us because things went array. Things happening out of order can really throw you off your game, but you could still ultimately get to your end result. If you judge a book by it's cover and this particular game is the cover for this establishment. I would not come back here. Maybe if they updated the room, or if didn't let the whole place get bought out I'd have had a better time here.

We did The Launch escape room and faced multiple technical malfunctions that significantly affected our game. From wires that didn't provide the clue even when connected correctly to knobs that didn't do the same even when set to the correct numbers, the puzzle malfunctions cost us a lot of time until the gamekeeper came over the PA to give us hints only to realize we had solved the puzzles and were just spending so much of our time trying to figure out what we had done wrong. After the game, he told us that we had done well for a group of four because the room was designed to be completed by eight players, so if you have a smaller group, I guess don't expect to actually be able to escape in the allotted time. For an expensive activity, we were disappointed that things did not function properly which interfered with our experience. If a room relies heavily on technology, that technology needs to work reliably.

The challenges were very interesting and definitely gave us a team-building experience, helping us work together. There's alot of parking, great customer service, and its a really nice space. They also have shirts for sale, a bar, a small arcade, and plenty of tables to sit and relax while waiting your turn. They offer different experiences, including the Paint Bomb and Slime Bomb, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. I recommend commfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Overall, it was so much fun, and I'll definitely be back!

The games can be cerebral or physical - you don't know until you get into it. Once you're done with those games - you suit up and go into the "bomb room" where you, as a team, manipulate a video game to shoot all the tanks in a maze sort of layout (think of the old Atari tank fight - but 3D). Thankfully, my 2 video gaming sons took charge, but we - as a team/family - were able to beat the bomb with plenty of time left! Wahoo! If you don't beat the bomb, you get blasted with paint, slime, or foam - whatever you chose at the beginning. As winners... well, you can get blasted anyway! That's half the fun, right? We chose paint. My wife was regretting that choice as her suit wasn't exactly paint-proof. Thankfully, it rinsed out later in the hotel room... and thankfully, this was our last stop of the evening... This is the sort of experience you could do again and again - the games can be different, and so can your team! This is a good family event that provides a memory that will last. We still talk about the time we beat the bomb!

As someone who is a big scaredy-cat, I asked my friend to call to see if live actor was scary, and they assured us that it was not scary. I can say that they were true to their word! We had Tanner as our live actor / guide through the experience. He was very immersive and passionate about the role. This was my first time doing a room with a live actor, so I don't have a point of comparison. I personally didn't like the way clues were given, but others may appreciate the banter and silly actions Tanner was doing to lead us in the right direction. I thought the addition of "crisis" moments was a clever way to reward strong players. My main issue with the room was that it was linear. At no point were two groups of people working on something simultaneously. That means that if you have more than three people, some members may be standing around. There was also one puzzle that is solved solely by trial-and-error, which is poor design. For the price, I had higher expectations in production value. The best part of The Grand Zeppelin was the ending, and I do want to commend Tanner for providing us with an immersive experience!

One of which can be found at Sleepy Hollow farm. The farm doesn't have just a grassy field where they filmed (although they did film the pumpkin patch scenes here, too) the farm holds a very special place for fans of the show- police chief Jim Hopper's cabin! The production crew built the cabin on the farm and the farm uses it between filming as, get this, an escape room! Now, my wife and I had never done an escape room before, but when we learned that we could actually go into the actual set where so many of those cool scenes were filmed, well we quickly decided to go to Sleepy Hollow farm and check it out. It did not disappoint. The "game master" was a sweet girl that gave us some great background information about the show and filming before she gave us the rules and set us up in Hopper's cabin. While we were geeking out, right at first, about being IN the actual movie set, we quickly set out on solving the mystery (which I won't divulge here, so not to ruin the fun for you). It was a bit tricky, but we were successful in solving the puzzle with just under two minutes to spare (which I thought was pretty good for our first time ever doing this sort of thing). The game master validated our pomposity by telling us that this particular game only has a 35% success rate! Maybe she was just telling us that to make us feel good about ourselves or maybe it was true and it was just beginners luck, but either way, we solved it and had an amazing time doing it! We had plenty of time to take pictures afterwards and the game master was very accommodating and even took some cool photos for us. There are lots of other fun things to do on the farm and, if you've got little ones, I highly recommend the outdoor obstacle course and the petting zoo. As for cost, it was probably a bit more expensive than a regular escape room experience, but for the memories we made, the pictures we have and the overall experience- it was well worth it!

The pricing was low and I'd even say a steal for the experience. The game master provided clear concise instructions. His enthusiasm really set the tone for the game. He also gave us all the fun facts and details about how the cabin exterior and some interior was actually part of the Stranger Things set. The game challenge level was just the right level of difficulties and the clues and theme as a whole was very well thought out. This was definitely a gem we stumbled across in our visit to Atlanta and arguably one of the highlights of our trip. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

Our instructor (whose name I sadly forgot!) was awesome -- full of energy, super patient with all of us first-timers, and made sure we were safe while still having tons of fun. His tips really helped us get the hang of it quickly! Beyond axe throwing, there are plenty of other fun games to enjoy -- giant Jenga, Connect Four, darts, and even an arcade game or two. Plus, there's a cute little bar area where you can grab a drink and snacks and hang out between turns.
