Wow I can't give enough stars to Escape Zone Long Island!! They are absolutely amazing!!! I got engaged at Escape Zone this past weekend and they helped my fiancé with everything!!!! He said his experience working with them to plan our dream moment was beyond phenomenal and he couldn't have asked for better help/service!!!! They made my day with their kindness and support throughout the whole thing!!!! The proposal was absolutely amazing but needless to say we had an absolute blast during the whole thing!! We participated (in a perfectly planned way) the Diamond Heist Escape room and it was awesome! It was challenging yet reachable and the excitement of getting the diamond at the end was the perfect touch I know there are many escape rooms on Long Island however this escape room especially stood out to my fiancé and I, I know we will be going there for years to come! There was two people working when we went, Will and a girl whose name I didn't get. They were both super nice and helpful, and made it a really fun experience for us. This chain of escape rooms is by far the best Long Island has to offer. As crazy and hard as it may be to believe, my friends and I commenced an escape room craze over the last year and a half. We have completed every room at EVERY escape room location on Long Island. You name the room/company, and we've done it. And every time, we compare and contrast and always say that nothing beats Escape Zone. The rooms are masterfully decorated and extremely well thought out. To us, the difficulty levels are perfect where they are challenging enough to remain interesting, but not too challenging to where it's frustrating and impossible to get out. The staff has been nothing but generous and friendly every time we've gone. And that goes for all of their locations. If you're looking for something new and fun to do and you're interested in escape rooms, I highly recommend. I think you'll be overjoyed with your experience and clambering for new rooms like my friends and I often find ourselves doing. read more

Came in yesterday for the Casino Heist room with a friend. We were given the run-down in the lobby, the premise was that we had to get from the casino floor into the vault, and then out to safety. We got a few tips before getting into the room (what's just props, what not to touch- nothing that gave away too much detail) and "locked" in. Three clues were allowed, which we used throughout the game. It was challenging without being too hard- every puzzle fit the theme of the room- but there were a LOT of puzzles and locks to figure out. We were with a few couples that we didn't know beforehand, but everyone worked really well together. All in all it was pretty fun- I'll definitely do more escape rooms now that I've been through the experience. Just a word of caution- get there early. I missed half the debriefing and spent a little bit of time catching up when we could have been solving riddles/puzzles/codes instead. read more

Escape Zone L.I.! Girlfriend and i went here for the first time. She got a Groupon for less of a price they're offering on their site for two. Very great deal. Best check it out if you ever go. When we got there it was pretty cool in the lobby area. Was a fence with locks on it wherr people put their names and also other saying such as "Go Giants" ect. The instructor was very nice and welcoming. We did the Mad Hatter one. Like Alice in Wounderland. The puzzle was up to two rooms. Was very fun. Lucky we had 2 teamates that have done escape rooms in the past. Min we started they tooked the lead. The first room took up some time but as a team we made it to the other room. You have to use both rooms for the second room. Dont want to go into to much details much it was very interesting. Girlfriend and i loved it. She helped alot in one part in the 1st room as i did with a puzzel in the 2nd room. As a group you'll make it out. Also the instructors can give you two hints by using a walkie talkie. Theyre very nice and helpful also not rude at all. After you make it to the end they give you props to take a group picture that can go onto their Instagram. They will also take pictures for you on your phone for your own keep sake. Was very fun. Loved to do it again and also bring some friends this time along with my girlfriend. read more

When we got out of the room, we were offered to "stay and play" in another room at a promotional rate and did the Diamond Heist room as well. We had a blast! All of the clues were very well thought out, and the room designs are themed very well down to details and color schemes. The staff was helpful and polite. First impressions upon driving up to the Escape Zone might be, "Our we in the right place?". It is in an office building BUT DO NOT let that deter you from going in. The staff greeted us from the very start and made us feel extremely welcomed and excited to be there. Alyssa and Matt engaged with our family in such a way that we have NEVER experienced at any of the other 7 Escape Room places we have visited. They were both so enthusiastic and helpful that we just couldn't wait to get started. Alyssa ran through the "back story" of each room in a way that you could tell she really loves escape rooms herself (it pumps you up as a family when the staff actually enjoy what they do, we have been to others where they staff make it seem like we were bothering them for showing up...that is a big turn off). To make a short story longer, we loved our first room so much we stayed and did a second room, Pirate themed. We loved that one so much we stayed for a third room, Friday the 13th! Three rooms in one night, my boys were loving it! Now let me tell you what we loved about them. Alice in Wonderland: The room was very nicely decorated and the decor made you feel like you were in Wonderland. This is a multi room experience which we always enjoy better than one room. The second room doesn't disappoint at all. The puzzles were challenging but doable (even though we needed to use some hints but hey, who doesn't?). Pirates: Wow! This was one of the nicest decorated escape rooms we have done. The detail and props were spot on. We loved the challenges and puzzles of this room a lot. I don't want to give anything away but I think this is one of my favorite rooms so far. All of us agreed that we found this room to be a "treasure" (pun intended). Friday the 13th: This room was interesting in the fact that is a multi-multi-multi room escape room. How cool is that? Four rooms of puzzles and challenges. Plus if you are a fan of the Jason series you can live the experience of trying to escape from Jason! Ok so I know what you are thinking, "what crazy family does 3 escape rooms in one night?" Let me tell you if we had time we would have tried all 6 rooms. There were 3 distinct reasons why we stayed and played 3 games (and would have done more). 1. Our interactions with Alyssa and Matt were genuine and they were so enthusiastic about how we accomplished escaping and they asked us what we liked about the rooms and where honestly interested in our feedback. NO other place has ever cared about what we thought about the room, just that they got our money. 2. How interesting and impressive each of the rooms were. Everything felt brand new and kept up. Sometimes other places let their rooms go over time with outdated decor, broken items, tape over broken things, but NOT here. Everything was in tip top shape. 3. This place offers you a nice discount if you stay and do another room after you finish your first room. This shows that they value you as a customer and your wallet. My wife and I kept telling each other that there was something different about this place compared to the others in the area that we have done. Then we found out what that was. This is NOT just a location that belongs to a chain of escape rooms. This is independently owned by one person, Tim, and we go to meet him and talk with him for awhile. You can see he has a passion and dedication to making your experience one of the best you can have at an escape room. He himself loves going to other escape rooms. I am sure because he genuinely likes them himself but also so he can educate himself on what works and what doesn't. I have a great respect for an owner who goes out of their way to improve his own business. We are super excited to go back and do the Harry Potter Room, the Diamond Heist and mostly the new room, Trouble in Paradise. This room room seems like it has so much more new experiences than any room on Long Island. On the car ride home my 9 year old was asking when we are going back and our two teenagers were trying to see when they can get some friends together to go (without us parents :( lol ) We were very happy that everyone had such a great time. We have never done extra rooms at any other escape place nor have been looking so forward to going back. You can try other escape rooms of course. There are others that are good and some not so good but TRUST ME when I say this is the BEST Escape Room place on Long Island! read more

We had an excellent experience for my daughter's 11th birthday. The 7 girls in the party (aged 11-12) did the Harry Potter themed room and all loved it. My husband went with them and I went to the "tropical paradise" room with our other two daughters and two friends, aged 9-13. Our room was smaller but really very interactive and fun. Also very clean and EXCELLENT game master. It was pretty snug for 6, and I think 8 would have been too many. I recommend just buying the whole room if you can. This was our first time doing an escape room: I think it might be a little easy if you had done other rooms previously and sort of have a sense of how they go. However, for us it was not too easy and we had to get a clue. Also, I'm not sure the kids would have made it out in under the hour without a little adult help. My family came to Escape Zone for the first time earlier today, what a great experience we had. This place was extremely clean and the staff made us feel very safe during our stay. We did the Skull and Bones room and I'm sad to say but my 14 year old appeared to be the wits behind the operation. Our game leader was Kaitlyn and she was awesome helping us out along the way and giving us some guidance. We were able to get out in about 54 minutes of the allotted 60 minute they allow you. I would highly recommend an outing here and we can't wait to go back. I also learned they have a new location Miller Place. read more

Visited with my better half today and chose the room called The Wizard's Chamber. It's a Harry Potter themed room. Knowledge of Harry Potter is absolutely unnecessary. The room is rated a 3 out of 5 on the difficulty level. The rating was spot on. We had a blast! Alexa was our game master and she was fabulous. The challenges weren't over the top and although we got stuck a couple of times we made it out with about 2 minutes to spare. I recommend this place and we're already planning our return. read more
