This place was fantastic! We did their hardest room, The Casino Heist, and it was sooo much fun! The support we received from our game master, Savannah, along the way was perfect! We only ended up needing six clues! The staff was helpful and courteous! Savannah was just as happy as we were that we solved the puzzles and got the diamond! We had such a blast! Did the Egyptian room and it was difficult but still easy enough to find our way through most of it! We didn't get into the last room, but we were close! Had a group of girls and a couple join us, so lots of fun interactions! They even showed us at the end how to solve it! (That definitely helped ease my anxiety lol) There is also an emergency key so you're never really locked in! We will for sure be going back! read more

This was one of the best experiences of my life! My family and I went to this place for the first time and it was so much fun. We solved riddles, had some laughs and dodged lasers. Shout out to Alex! Claire, Sonny, and Matt were awesome. They were super kind and friendly. They made the experience even better. We have been to many escape rooms and this was THE best experience. We did the Casino Heist. It was a lot of fun. We made it out with about a minute and a half to spare. I definitely recommend Escape Works. We are a group of enthusiasts with a range of experience from 30 rooms to 300+ rooms. We played the Flower Shop and Outbreak while in town for a convention. Solid rooms. Nothing super special. Our GM was very nice but I will say it put me off a bit when she kept saying if you give us a 5* review and mention my name I get $5 bonus. These are not 5* rooms by enthusiast standards. But worth playing if you're in the area looking for a game. read more

Having done over 30 escape rooms nationwide, my partner and I can confidently say this was one of our least favorite locations. We did the Casino Heist, and, without giving anything away, I'll tell you the reason the success rate is so low cannot be attributed to the difficulty of the room, but instead to the disconnect in logic that penetrates nearly every puzzle. Being an avid logic-seeker, I was disappointed to say the least. We were booked into a full room. At the end, my partner and I, as well as all 6 strangers looked at each other with emptiness and the girl working actually said "don't look so sad, y'all, I'm going to take your picture for the website." What does that say about the overall fun-factor? On our way out, one of the girls in our group asked sarcastically if people actually do this for fun at all. Lastly, though the production value was decent, it wasn't anything to brag about, and the technology in the second room kept glitching, which cut our time in half (we payed for an hour and we'd like the full hour, please.) The staff felt impersonal, uniformed, and uninterested in their rooms. I couldn't recommend EscapeWorks to anyone, especially when Denver offers so many incredible puzzle room locations to enjoy. read more

Absolute blast! Challenging and exciting. Great for groups of all sizes. We came with a group of 20 family members and split up into three rooms. Went and did the flower shop speakeasy room on a Friday night with work friends. The puzzles were fairly difficult but fun! Lidet was our game hostess. She not only provided much needed clues when we needed them but also lots of encouragement! Don't be surprised if she makes you dance for a clue!! So much fun! read more

As promised, I am back with my update of our second experience through EscapeWorks. Unfortunately, it's sadly staying at 2 stars. This time it was the Egyptian Tomb room, and this time we actually won! Yay! By only a minute and half, though... :( During the debrief, the attendant revealed that we only won because the room wasn't set up correctly. We had access to a key that we should have had to solve another puzzle to obtain, and we couldn't solve that first puzzle because there was another important component that we didn't have access to. (Trying not to give away too many of the secrets here!) The attendant said she'd noticed that the component was missing during the setup, but didn't bother to go look for it. That's what solidified the repeat 2-star rating for me. I did think that this room was better designed and had a better variety of puzzles than the last room. We had a great deal of fun overall. However, after yet another problem with the props, I think we won't be coming back. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past , but my kids were literally dying of boredom so we popped in. We did the Blackbeards Brig escape room...there are no words. An escape room done right. Crisp clues, juicy codes stuffed with all the essentials (numbers, letters, puzzles, keys). There's about a million options between the clues and codes, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. The workers there will step in to give you clues. Tobi was great and kept us on track along the way. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself. You won't be disappointed. read more

My first escape room so I didn't really know what to expect. We did the Egyptian room. Got a bit frustrated at times but that's part of the gig or else it would be too easy and it would be over too quickly! Very clever. The game hosts were awesome. I'd be willing to try another one. read more

Went to EscapeWorks Denver, on Friday, January 17, to celebrate my friend's 65th birthday! Eight of us gals worked very hard, and did fairly well, but...unfortunately did not make it out of the "Outbreak" room in one piece! We did not find the cure in our one hour time limit, and we were blown to bits! We all truly enjoyed ourselves, and Julie said the escape room was a big part of her best birthday ever!! Great experience overall. We did this as an office team outing and had a ton of fun. We were worried we might have too many people but there were plenty of puzzles to work on so everyone had a chance to participate. It was challenging but not frustrating. I am visiting Denver from California and I have been on a recent Escape Room kick. I attempted the Egyptian Tomb Room by myself. This was my 9th escape room and it was very good compared to the others that I have done. You feel totally submersed in the setting.
