I honestly didn't even know this escape room was here .. we ended up doing the scooby doo room and it was a lot of fun for the entire family. To start, this was my first time at an escape room. Always wanted to go, just wasn't previously in the cards. What fun! We broke up into two groups, the adults and the semi adults (teens to 21 years old). We played Murder on the Orient Express and almost finished! The young lady at the entrance told us it was difficult but we also heard it was solved within 44 minutes as the best time. I think our problem was my group thought they were smart and didn't want to get clues. Don't do it! Get the clues, it helps a lot and will save time. Still, we didn't do too bad since another 3-5 minutes and we would have solved it too! The kids played Mansion Murder and they did finish it. They held it over our heads for a while but also confessed they did get the clues early. I would go again and again. It is a lot fun and there are other rooms I would love to play, now that I know a little bit more about how things work. read more

What a cool place!!! I visited with my daughter for one of her friend's birthdays and she loved the experience. They have different rooms with different themes and different levels of difficulty, so this is a place for kids and adults alike. It's located in City Place Doral, many places around to enjoy a bite or drink while you wait for the party to be over because the rooms where they parties take place are quite small so they actually encourage you to go for a walk. read more

Had a great time! The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and the whole experience, from booking the game to signing waivers, was easy to do from our phones. We did the Batman game which was challenging and fun. We made it out with just 3 minutes to spare. The mission was a success and we saved Gotham City! :D This is a great choice if you're looking for a well-run escape room. Only downside is that the experience was pricey.  For 4 of us, for one hour, it was about $200. We had a fun time and enjoyed the challenge, but due to pricing, I'm not likely to return. read more

I was excited to try Escapology at Doral. The concept and the room's atmosphere were fantastic. However, customer service was below what you'd expect from this type of experience. Staff rushed instructions and weren't engaged especially disappointing for a place where you expect immersive, top-tier service. While the dim lighting fit the theme, there was no way to adjust which was frustrating if you need better visibility for to read codes or unlock locks. The game was fun, but for the price, which is on the expensive side, I expected more. Unless service improves to match the environment, I wouldn't return. Go for a fun hour, but don't expect high-level customer care. read more

Came for a fun family outing and did the "Murder Mansion" room. The room was very detailed in the decor but there were a few things that went wrong in the room. One of the frames opened before it should but they did come in a fix and gave us our time back. Unfortunately we didn't escape but had a great time over all. read more

We had a wonderful time! Finally an escape room experience in Doral! We are avid escapist and this place left us excited to try their other games. Everyone at Escapeology was friendly and helpful.i especially appreciated that they offered a military discount. We tried the Scooby-Doo room and I loved that the room wasn't too easy but also not too difficult. It was probably a great room to try out if it's your first time doing escape rooms. Loved the room, amazingly decorated with a great ambiance that fully immerses you in the theme. The design and setup were top-notch. My only critique is directed toward the game master. On two occasions, we were given unrequested clues. We did not press the hint button or request assistance, yet hints were provided anyway. Most notably, the final puzzle was completely solved for us, with the answer displayed on the screen, while we still had 8 minutes left. This was my partner's first escape room experience, so it felt normal to him. However, having completed over 130 rooms myself, I found it extremely disappointing. I mentioned it at the front desk, and the explanation given was that we were struggling. But that's the point of an escape room, figuring it out is the challenge. Giving away the solution defeats the entire purpose. Additionally, the final clue was provided immediately, without delay. The clue before that had already been written down in my tablet, which makes me believe the game master wasn't fully attentive to our progress. Great location and solid company overall, but the experience was unfortunately diminished by the actions of the game master. read more

We were guests at a children's birthday party at Escapology and had a very disturbing experience. A staff member, Jasmine Williams, began screaming at guests and using vulgar language in front of the children while telling people to leave. Apparently the hosts had brought a smoke machine, which we had no knowledge of since we were simply guests attending the party. Despite that, we were spoken to as if we had planned the event and brought the equipment ourselves. My biggest issue was the screaming in front of my child. No staff member should ever be yelling and creating that kind of scene in front of kids at a birthday party. When I later raised this concern, the response we received was simply "follow the rules," as if the guests had booked the venue or were responsible for what the hosts brought. That response completely ignored the real issue, the way families and children were spoken to. Based on this experience, I would never book a party here. Families deserve a respectful and safe environment for their children. read more

Wow... went to a birthday with my daughter today, and felt with the least professional management I have experienced. The family hosting the event had a fog machine and the smoke alarm went off. Security cam and very professionally addressed the situation telling the hosts to not put it back on, and to have a nice day. I go sit on a couch out of the room a few minutes and return later. The doors are closed and there was still fog in the room. The manager walks in and comes up to me (a guest) telling me "you people, get out now. Party is over" I respond. "Us people?" Confused as to why she was talking to me. (A guest) she then proceeded to tell other guest and get our telling them to "stop breaking the rules (as if the guest had any responsibility and didn't) proceeding to get on a table in front of of the kids and yell that the police where coming. The children were shocked and the birthday boy started tearing up. The manager was going off clearly unprepared to deal with this kind of situation. The parents pleaded if they could stay but the manager continued to yell even directly at the kids to get out and repeatedly that police are on their way. The parents started singing happy. Birthday the give the birthday boy some kind of functional end to this situation, in where the manager kept yelling at the party as we sang and left. In retrospect I can see how the host family probably violated rules. But the level of professionalism by the management was nothing I'd ever ea y my child or any child exposed to. She was yelling that she had us all on video and the police would be involved with us. Im as for the kids that were exposed to this. I would never recommend anyone to come to this place who claims to provide services for family. Furthermore, I implore this business to POST the video if they care to respond. As a more accurate showing of how terrible the management in family services are here. read more

Great experience with the family! Took our 6 year old son and did the pirates escape room. Emily the game host was great and explained everything as it was our first time. Susan the game master was on point! Gave hints but didn't completely give it away. Will return, thank you Emily and Susan and the whole team at Escapology!!! read more

What a fun time! My best friend and I did the Scooby Doo escape room because we LOVE Scooby Doo. We were not disappointed. The room was just the right amount of challenging. Susan and Alex where amazing game masters, they explained the objectives and rules very detailed and professionally. I went in a team of two and tried the batman themed one and as a fan of the cape crusader I can honestly say it was amazing. I highly recommend coming to this escape room! The store itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. Diana at the front desk provided us with some great insight into the Escapology brand, and gave amazing descriptions of each room they have, in order to help us choose an escape room. In the end, we went with the Scooby Doo room and my family and I all had the best time! Everything was thought out so well and we were entertained the whole time!
