I first traveled to California in 2024 with a group of 30 college student-athletes for a tournament and wanted to find a place to do some team building and found 101 Escape Rooms. I reached out and owner David was more than happy to host us, come in early to accommodate our game schedule, and provide an outstanding experience. The team returned to this tournament this year (2026) and the players who were on the 2024 trip specifically asked to go to 101 Escape Rooms again. I called David and re-introduced myself and asked if we could again bring a group of 30 to do some escape rooms. He quickly said yes, provided a group discount rate, and made the experience that weekend outstanding once again. Not only are the actual rooms custom created, unique, and unlike any other escape rooms I have seen, but the staff is great, the challenge and team building potential worked exactly as planned, and I would so highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you are just hanging with friends or traveling with a larger group. 10/10 experience!

The couple duo (Darryl and Erica) build all their props and puzzles in-house. They offer four rooms by the time I am writing this review and each room feels thoughtfully designed and distinct. Our team did three of their four rooms (the fourth room is for the kiddies) and we were blown away. As someone who travels for escape rooms, these rooms are puzzle-forward but it also is not your typical "find the code and open the lock" escape room. I wanted to shout out Skylar, who was our GM for two of the rooms we did. He was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, especially when we wanted to spend more time debriefing the experience and the puzzles we didn't get to see since we divided and conquered. He took the time to answer our questions and asked us about our escape room journey as well! That kind of care and attention really elevates the whole experience. I recommend bringing a group of 3-4. The Key of Destiny could be done by 2 experienced people but the other rooms should have 3 or more people based on the sheer volume of puzzles.

Both the props and puzzle design are done in-house, so you don't get anything generic and as a result, you leave feeling like you had an experience that can't be duplicated anywhere else. The difficulty for all of the rooms has also been fine tuned to ensure that you're getting an optimal amount of puzzles for your dollar, without the games being overwhelming or too short, which is also nice. I also wanted to give thanks to Skylar who was our GM for the past few visits. Skylar was nice enough to work with us on some special requests we had and made us feel at home. I really felt he went out of his way to make us happy and spent a considerable amount of time with us to answer any additional questions we had during our debrief. We did the basement. This is the first time we've ever done an escape room so I had no idea what to escape. I don't wanna spoil too much BUT this was absolutely one of the best times I've ever had. The actors were so helpful and so funny. We didn't successfully pass, but we were very close!!!!!!. We had a group of two. When that room holds up to 10. Soooooo we did our best hahhaahaha . It's very interactive at some points, We had to crawl through spaces, walk through trap doors and we did get our hands dirty. We were Using flashlights to get around. It was SUPER interactive. Two Trees was such a great experience for us that we came back to take on the rooms we hadn't done…read moreyet. A 3 room day as we took the on "Curse of the Kraken," "The Nightmare Realm" and "The Sherlock Society." We were greeted by our game master Clarissa who is fantastic by the way. She went over the rules and gave us the story and we were on our way to adventure. We were able to take down all 3 rooms in under the time limit and they were great. Clarissa was so helpful to the group noticing when we were really stuck and offering just a slight nudge but not giving us a direct clue unless we asked. We needed a helping hand in The Nightmare Realm but we did very well on our own in the other 2 rooms. Curse of the Kraken is a small room but there is so much going on in that small space, we really enjoyed the assortment of puzzles and challenges in that room. The Nightmare Realm was our least favorite of the day but we still enjoyed it, the room has taken over where another room we previously did used to be and it has some similarities in design but all new puzzles and challenges. Sherlock Society was our favorite room of the day, we didn't need any hints in this room but still cut it close escaping at the 52 minute mark. The room is so unique and has some incredibly unique puzzles to solve, we really enjoyed every aspect of it. It was another great experience and I highly recommend all escape room lovers try out Two Trees.

She was so gung-ho and uplifting about the whole experience. I found this location by randomly calling places I found on Apple Maps. She answered and said you can walk in I have something available. That was welcoming, first of all. Once we got there, we completed the waivers, forms, signed up online and did the payment, and then she took us to our room. It was called Inksidious. We escaped with 0:21 seconds left! Super fun, interactive, and clues for everyone in our group to solve. Teamwork at its best. Highly recommend! We did 2 escape rooms within a week because we really enjoyed the first one so much. After Prison Break, we did "Once Upon A Time"... It's rated simpler, but it was more subjective..a little less linear, so although we still escaped, it took us 12 minutes longer work 2 extra hints. Everything was clean even bathrooms. Nice lockers to use for valuables during escape experience too. Also, check out their non profit offers! This is one of the best escape rooms our family has ever done!
