They sub out the fumigation and the company they work with was terrible. Like the last reviewer, they broke over 100 tiles at my house too. I've had other people on the roof who managed to not break tiles walking around up there. On top of the tile breakage they broke my fence in two places. If you value your property, stay away. read more

Terrible, I would give -1 star if that's possible. Have you heard of breaking over 100 tiles for fumigation? Not only did they broke over 100 tiles (I have to pay over $5000 to replace), the owner, Gordon did not take responsibilities at all, just said sorry and there is nothing he can do about it, really?? Great service. Last year we were supposed to tent when we bought the house but due to a challenge we could not do it. Not escocia's fault. Finally we did it a few weeks ago. They provided more bags when we asked them, completed the fumigation while we were out of town and the communication was good. They also did a great job with repairs fixing what they could and replacing the wood when it made more sense. They replaced a big 2x10 facia bord and some other pieces. I was considering not doing the repairs and do them myself but I am glad I had them do it as they did a great job. There was a pvc vent on the roof that broke, stuff happens .. as it was maybe too tal. They acknowledged it and fixed it right away ! That is what matters really.. something things happen but it is how companies Deal with situations like that what sets them apart. Totally recommend them read more

Escocia did amazing work for us. We recently purchased a home, and the previous owners had some spot treatment done from their extermination company of choice. My agent had Escocia come in to evaluate and provide a quote for tenting service and they noted a handful of areas where the first company fell short. It was a no-brainer for us to back to Escocia when escrow closed to schedule our tenting and subterranean treatment service. Liz was really on top of it, and provided answers to the abundance of requests we had. They extended time to provide a lockbox that worked with our schedule, and she was always readily available for any questions we had. Quite happy with them and would recommend highly. read more

The company had excellent careful workers who protected our Spanish tile roof as they covered the house and also careful with plants near the structure, beyond 18". Nice people. Don't really have a way to know if did good work or not since I don't really know what to look for. But they were overall profession and showed and when they said and were always responsive. Only complaint is they had a coupon on their website I presented and the person who did the quote didn't write it down but since he didn't incorporate it in his report they wouldn't honor it. Which makes it appear that it's a bad faith coupon and that they would just say they incorporate it in their bid and just charge the same price as they would of otherwise. That's the only conclusion I could make since I'm they acknowledge they Amy of messed up in not writing it in the report and won't honor it nonetheless for reasons that wouldn't be known from the customer who was only asked to present it and not them write it down and add it to the report and whatever else they say they should of done before sending the report. read more

Escocia Termite provided complete fumigation under a tent for our house, which was very badly infested with termites. Gordon, the owner, was very helpful and kind, and provided us with a detailed list of things we needed to do to get ready, and even was kind enough to make an extra trip to provide us with additional bags to get our food and medicine properly protected during the fumigation. The crew that put up and removed the tent were exceedingly skillful, especially since our house has an irregular design, and is a tall two stories. After the fumigation, Gordon's carpentry crew replaced some lumber around the garage area and at the front gate, and demolished and replaced a large deck/stairs in our patio, completely rebuilding the supporting structure with treated wood, and topping it with Trex, so we won't have to worry about future infestations. This was a major project, and Gordon and his crew did a splendid job, displaying a strong work ethic, excellent work habits, and being good-natured and kind as well. There was a great deal of "detail work," which was done well, such as patching, painting, cutting to precise measurements, etc. Since this was "our first" time to have a house fumigated that we are living in (not a real estate transaction, which would be an empty house), there were many more concerns and questions--and Gordon was very reassuring, answering our many questions and concerns with authority and good humor.
