We love this place. I love how close it is to the house. They don't get too busy on the weekend. The boys get the haircut that makes them feel like they look like their daddy. It's very important that they look like their dad. So I brought a photo of my husband and they both ended up with the same haircut as him. LOL. The price is so much less than the cost of MY haircut. So we are good there. The vibe is like your standard neighborhood barbershop. Honestly I got recommended to this spot because it was cheap and when I went everything seemed fine the people there honestly don't speak well English theirs probably the front barber that speaks English anyways I got a cut the first time asked for a tapper and got a fade so that's that, second time I went I was with the main barber in the front and he took out some clippers from the bottom drawer idk if they had something against me or what but it's been a few months and I have this rash on the back of my head that doesn't go away on top of that they all speak in their native language and laugh which made me feel uncomfortable, I don't wish this on my worst enemy but I wouldn't recommend this spot even if it was the last barbershop on earth read more

I am a regular customer here and always appreciate the quality of the haircuts and the excellent prices. The staff does a fantastic job with my fades and keeps me looking sharp. However, my most recent visit resulted in a very disappointing and painful issue. I developed a nasty rash and significant irritation on the back of my neck (as shown in the pictures). This reaction strongly suggests that the razors or clippers were unsanitary and not properly cleaned before being used on me. Hygiene is critical in a barber shop. While I want to continue being a customer, this is a serious lapse in sanitation that needs to be addressed immediately. I will be back, but please, please clean your tools thoroughly! I hope to continue supporting this shop once I know proper disinfection protocols are followed. read more

2 stars for the two barbers who actually care about your hair (The lady owner and the guy who cuts on the 4 or 5 chair). If you ain't "boys" with the tatted up barber, he rushes your cut. Didn't even put a neck cover for me. I've been going to this barber shop since I moved to Esco and I've recommended this place to everyone I know, but today is the last day I am coming here. Understand that it's a family oriented shop so it's more comfortable and easy going than most places (No loud music, groupies, or smoking). The price is unbeatable, I've been to places (Bay Area) where you'll be charged minimum $25, but not here $11 and make sure you tip. I wouldn't normally go back to bash on a company I've rated highly in the past but I just had to this time. The business owner Johnny ended up attending me the last time I was here. I needed a comb over skin fade but ended up with nothing like it. The fade was good, my only issue was that he completely decimated the top part which makes the comb-over! Johnny went ham on the top even without me telling him how much to cut or asking. Long story short, my hair is fucked, way too short and I look like I'm getting bald spots. Does not cut it so I may style it the way I usually do(my hair does not stay still at times so I usually do it a particular way, which I disclosed) and now I'm $15 short. This place can be 50/50. Meaning they get it right only half the time. There's a couple usual barbers that work there and they do a decent job, and they're really nice, but today I got my hair cut by an unfamiliar employee. My mistake. All I wanted was a trim. So I showed him an example with my phone (since there usually is a language barrier), he said "ok." 10 min later I'm left with what looks like a military buzz cut. I even asked him if that looks like the example I showed him, he said no. At least he was honest. I wasn't going to sit there and complain, my hair will grow back, it's just frustrating. This place was only $10 so we decided to get my husband and son's haircuts here. My son has beautiful curly hair with a fade. It's a very easy haircut and just needs scissors on top and 1 on the sides/ back. My husband showed them a photo of my son's usual hairstyle. Without even asking, the woman who was cutting his hair immediately shaved ALL the curls off. Needless to say we are going on vacation tomorrow.
