I called State Farm customer service thinking it might be covered by my policy because it was similar to another accident from many years ago which was covered. I was mistaken. (I must have changed my coverage since then!) Mark called and emailed me a few days later to make sure I was not hurt, to explain why my current policy did not cover the accident, and to give me some advice on making a claim against the other party, as well as to remind me to file the required SR-1 form with the DMV. (Though I had filed the form in the past, I had completely forgotten the requirement and would have failed to file it this time without Mark's reminder.) Mark had no real obligation to provide assistance with this non-covered accident, but he did so anyway because he is the rare agent who truly cares about the people to whom he sells insurance. If not for Mark, I would have left State Farm some years ago. I have stayed because of him and I've even recommended him to friends who I knew would appreciate the kind of agent he is. I wouldn't like to leave a review without mentioning Leah and the office staff, each of whom is always kind and helpful in their particular capacity whenever I contact the office.
