Nerdy is amazing i've been pierced by her multiple times with both coming out amazing after healing. She did an amazing job of making me feel so comfortable both times, talking me through the process, explaining the purpose of what she does, asking for my opinion on the placement of the piercing(which i really appreciated), and just overall providing a very "i feel safe" energy in her studio (which is so odd to say when knowing you are about to get stuck with a needle but i guess that just comes with her being an amazing piercer‼). It genuinely felt like she wanted the best outcome for me by even letting me know when i didn't have the right anatomy for a regular belly button piercing, she really could've just made me go through another rejected upper belly button piercing (done by someone else) and got her bag but she didn't and that made me appreciate her all the more better even if it wasn't what i wanted in the first place it still looks amazing and definitely healed a lot better than the one done by a different piercer, she did a great job giving me a different option that was going to work well with my body and i appreciate the unique piercing i got out of it. The other one was a tongue that healed amazingly absolutely no complications and was a quick healing process so not much to say about it but very satisfied! She also did a great job at explaining the aftercare and provided answers to any questions i had about the care and keeping of my piercing and didn't make me feel bad for not knowing or anything like that. This shop is awesome! They have lots of amazingly talented artists who are professional and very friendly. Amber has been my artist for a few years now and love all of my work. She is such a cool person, easy to talk to, genuine with a huge heart. Two stars cause it looks nice. But I walked in and stood there for a good 3-5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Two people looked up, but didn't say a thing. Finally some girl asked if I had an appointment, she seemed annoyed with me for staring at them and doing the clear my throat thing to get their attention. I said I don't and she was like someone will be with you and that was it. Looked too busy. Looks don't mean anything if customer service is garbage. I just recently began getting tattooed by Kaleo at Esperanza's, in December being my first tattoo after 10+ years. The first piece he did was an addition to an existing tattoo that he also touched up my second piece was bigger with him outdoing himself and one of my favorites. John worked with me to nail the idea and sizing of the peice and within minutes I felt at home in the shop. Nerdy is the loviest of piercers. She was responded swiftly when asked about availability and pricing. As well as going into great detail on the aftercare for my piercings.
