They are very courteous people, but I just wanted to relax and enjoy the massage and calming sounds they put on. Nope, constantly asking questions I felt like it was more of an interrogation. It was questions about my personal life and work. I do not want to talk about that as this is my time . And I don't know how you tell someone that nicely, so I just rolled with it. I do not like to share certain personal things with people I do not know. I tried to be short in my answers in hopes he would figure out that I didn't want to talk, but nope it kept coming. And it is hard to talk with those covers they have on the pillow you rest your face on. The overall massage was okay. I didn't care for it .i think I would've had a better massage at Massage Envy. The mobility movements were good. But I didn't leave feeling like wow I feel so good and relaxed...that's how I felt when I left the Palo Alto spot, so I guess the hunt for a local spot continues.

However, the last massage I had with Ronny was especially wonderful. I'd been struggling with shoulder pain for months, which I constantly thought was going to "get better any day now." It didn't. After one session with Ronny (though I was nervous for him to even massage near that area), my shoulder pain was gone and hasn't returned. It's as if I never had that shoulder pain for 6+ months! Every time I come in for acupuncture with Dr. Shen, the process is smooth from start to finish. The insurance and billing process is also very easy. The front desk handles everything for me, and I only have to pay my copay, which makes each visit stress-free. I have been seeing Dr. Shen for the past couple of months and have completed about 11 treatments so far. She has helped me with several health concerns, especially my back pain, which has improved a lot since starting treatment. What surprised me most is how much she has also helped with my allergies. I can breathe so much easier now. Dr. Shen is very busy at the Pleasanton location, so sometimes I drive to the Fremont office to see her. Even though it is farther, it is absolutely worth it because she is amazing. The front desk is awesome about calling me when there are cancellations with her. My wife has also been seeing Dr. Shen for pregnancy and fertility support. We had been trying to have a baby for almost two years and had traveled countless times to Europe for IVF.
