Every time I come in for acupuncture with Dr. Shen, the process is smooth from start to finish. The insurance and billing process is also very easy. The front desk handles everything for me, and I only have to pay my copay, which makes each visit stress-free. I have been seeing Dr. Shen for the past couple of months and have completed about 11 treatments so far. She has helped me with several health concerns, especially my back pain, which has improved a lot since starting treatment. What surprised me most is how much she has also helped with my allergies. I can breathe so much easier now. Dr. Shen is very busy at the Pleasanton location, so sometimes I drive to the Fremont office to see her. Kathleen is a miracle worker!  I came to her with severe chronic pain in my right neck, shoulder,…read moreand arm.  As an IT worker, I am at my desk 8 to 10 hours per day on my computer and repetitive use caused "mouse shoulder" and made my dominant arm barely usable.  I was also tossing and turning at night trying to prop up pillows and do whatever else I could think of so that I could sleep.  I heard about Kathleen from my OB/GYN so I thought I would give it a try.  After the first appointment, I was nearly completely out of pain.  After the second appointment, I felt I had just witnessed a miracle.  I wasn't in any pain anymore at all!  Kathleen really knows her anatomy and just exactly what causes pain in the first place.  She also truly cares deeply about her patients and is the kindest, most loving person I have ever met.  She is phenomenal at therapeutic massage and a magnificent healer!  I see her regularly and she always manages to repair whatever damage I do from my job or anything else.  I wouldn't have been able to keep working for much longer in the condition I was in before I went to Kathleen.  She has kept me employed!   I recently did some work on a walkway for my house and it caused slipping rib syndrome.  She fixed that too on the first appointment after I got injured!  I even heard my rib "pop" when she moved it back into place.  It was kind of a creepy sound, but the pain immediately went away - quite a small price to pay for instant healing!  I can't recommend Kathleen enough (as you can probably tell).  She is a tremendous healer!
