Very good and kind service. Coffee I got was regular and cheap - I was there more for a workspace rather than food, but I enjoyed the atmosphere too. Not as cozy as one could wish but good enough to get something on the go. Coffee was made with professionalism. I had to wait a little though. Serving is very beautiful though. At no additional cost they just create some nice flowers and hearts on your drink - lovely to see when they put some extra work into it.
Espresso Cielo is a very nice coffee shop with plenty of coffee, pastry and breakfast items. They are open from early in the morning and located right next to the public parking lot making it extremely convenient to find! I went with the lavender latte and iced strawberry matcha which did not disappoint! I'm more of a coffee person but I actually enjoyed the matcha better here. When I got here in the morning there was literally a line out of the door but the staff really pushes to get orders out and makes the wait as short as possible Will definitely be coming back to try out the pastry and breakfast options here
Today our group of seven stopped by for coffee, gelato and sweets. Everyone was happy with their order and it was wonderful to catch up with friends in such a beautiful setting that satisfied all of our various cravings. The gorgeous turquoise mugs certainly make the coffee more appealing than it actually is. While our drinks were good, they weren't great. The cappucinos, lattes, chai and matchas were prepared well, but the quality of the ingredients didn't quite hit the mark. The gelatos particularly were not good and next time I would suggest ordering their drinks over the gelatos. The French toast donut we ordered was fresh, fluffy and perhaps the best of all our orders. Five stars for service. On a very busy holiday Monday, only two staff members were managing a long line of customers near the end of what I could only assume to be a very long and busy day. Despite appearing overwhelmed, they remained patient, professional and attentive..... and didn't make a single mistake with our orders. Their effort truly stood out and elevated the experience.

My friend and I came here for a matcha and latte, they did not disappoint! There is public parking upstairs which I didn't notice and was driving around in circles so don't miss the parking lot! It was pretty busy for an early-ish Sunday morning but service was relatively quick. Decent cup of coffee - I got a cortado. A little bitter but a nice way to start the day.
Espresso Cielo is located in the second street, which is a walking distance from the Promenade. There is a parking structure just above the coffee shop, in addition to street parking. The coffe shop has modern vibes. We ordered and paid first, then we got a number for our table. We picked our drinks when they were ready from the barista. Then one of the staff brought the rest of the food to our table. We ordered; - vegan Breakfast Burritos 5/5 "Just Egg" mung bean egg substitute, breakfast potatoes, vegan cheese, wrapped in spinach tortilla. It came with pico de gallo & guacamole. The burrito was very savory and enormous. - Lox Bagel; 5/5 Smoked Salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, pickled onions, garnished with capers and fresh dill on everything bagel. The Lox Bagel was very delicious. It had layers of smoked salmon (The Best!) - Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Bread 5/5 It was very moist and had well balanced flavor of banana and chocolate. For Drinks; We got drip coffee, Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte, and n ot Caramel macchiato. The drinks were refreshing and perfectly sweetened. The service was fast and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our time there. It's a cute coffee shop, excellent location, delicious food, refreshing drinks and a great customer service.

The breakfast burrito and coffee is legit straight from flavor town! Chill vibe here and easy to find. Parking structure is next to this place Not only is the coffee and food delicious here the barista quickly delivered our coffee. Great service experience here. I got the lavender latte and super food latte with oat milk, both were delicious. Not burnt and not too hot. Yes, this place is dog friendly here. They also serve drip coffee here. I gave this place 5-stars because the coffee is delicious here and not burnt. During the weekday I can see this place getting crowded so get here before the morning rush. Yes, we'll come back here!

Visited this place for the first time and overall had a pleasant experience. I ordered their matcha, which I appreciated for being real ceremonial-grade matcha--a rare find in many cafes. While the taste wasn't quite the flavor profile I personally prefer in matcha, it was still smooth, earthy, and clearly high-quality. It's just a matter of personal preference. The atmosphere of the café is inviting and thoughtfully designed. It's a nice space to relax, get some work done, or catch up with a friend. I'd definitely be open to coming back to try some of their other offerings. If you're a matcha lover, it's worth checking out--you might find their version is exactly your taste.

This was great! My first time here, ordered the morning bun (got the last one, score!) and a Lavender Vanilla Iced Latte! My boyfriend got the bagel sandwich also! Line moved fast, got my food and drink shortly after I ordered! There are high tables and smaller tables all around, I believe you can also sit at the bar! Super cute, very chill! Cute specialty coffee shop with beautiful decor. There's lots of indoor seating with limited street parking. I got the mango & strawberry sorbetto gelato, which was dairy-free. It was very good, you can taste the fresh fruit. My husband enjoyed his Americano coffee. They also have teas, matcha, lemonade & a breakfast menu, it's a great place to hang out. read more

I return again this time to try their butterfly Pea flower iced latte and avocado toast. The avocado toast on multigrain bread provided a satisfying bite with a nice crunch. I loved the pomegranate seeds on top. The entire toast felt light and refreshing. The butterfly pea flower oatmilk latte didn't have much pea flower flavor. I tasted more oatmilk than pea flower. Service was excellent. It's spacious inside and has a nice ambiance for studying , working or catching up with friends. Needless to say, I'm a regular and a fan of this place. read more

This is a cute coffee shop that was packed on a Saturday morning. The staff were friendly and everything came out quick. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was too sweet for my taste. I think next time I'll ask for half the sweetness. read more

Cute coffee shop, really nice workers, and they're open early! I got a white chocolate candy cane latte, and although I didn't really taste the white chocolate nor candy cane, it was still good. Boyfriend and I thought that both of our drinks were pretty basic, but the latte didn't end up hurting my stomach so that was a huge plus! We also wished our drinks came out hotter; I felt like I had to rush drinking it because it got cold quickly with the weather outside. read more

Mocha is 4/10. Very cheaply made and overpriced. I was not going to get coffee here but I was in desperate need for caffeine. The ambience inside is nice and it's close to the beach but life is too short to waste it on bad coffee. read more
Cutie little coffee shop near the Santa Monica pier. I came on a Tuesday morning and there was a nice stream of people but it wasn't too busy. They have a solid coffee menu with some good lattes. I got the cinnamon latte and an almond croissant, the latte was good but I would've like even more cinnamon flavor and the almost croissant was good but it had a lot of almond filling, almost too much. They had a good breakfast menu but it seems they were out of a lot of things on the morning I visited. I'll come back. read more

Love love love, i simply love the atmosphere of the place! The lady who took my order, L, is such a sweetheart. I wish i didn't come in so last minute because I would've loved to chat with her some more! I got the oolong tea and a plain croissant which was good. The oolong tea is pretty strong in caffeine so be warned. This place takes cash and card! It's a close walk from the subway station so it's easy to stop by before going to the beach. I will probably do that next time heheh The vibes are great i really love the quality of the food here! Happy pride! read more

This place has amazing coffee! I love the espresso! I had A plane latte with an extra shot and the flavors of nutty roasted chocolate just poured out of the espresso! Such a sweet cute cafe. My husband had the Spanish latte which was sw but not too sweet. The croissants were huge but we didn't try anything this visit as I was doing no sugar at the time. The last visit however we had the gluten free chocolate banana bread and it was so moist and delightful. The baristas were kind but I had to say I really felt sorry for the way some of the customers were treating these fine workers. They were so entitled and rude and the baristas handled it with style. Thank you for all your hard work and all you put up with so that we can enjoy a great coffee experience. Some of us really appreciate you whether other snobby entitled customers do or not. read more

Matcha color was a little grey, not great quality and cashier was cold and unwelcoming. I got a Ham and Cheese croissant and they absolutely squished it flat lol. For a flattened 10$ croissant and a low quality matcha not really worth it. read more

Hmm this place seems more of a novelty for visitors than somewhere I'd go regularly. Line moves slowly and it feels like they're understaffed. I wish there were better coffee spots closer to the pier. Espresso - this was unpleasant, but adding water made it a fine Americano. Came with all the bitterness and acidity that I don't want. Chocolate croissant - Not the best chocolate croissant I've had. Again this was just okay, reflective of my star review. Nothing notable about this visit. Santa Monica has better coffee spots. read more
Simple but so good. Cute interior next to the parking structure. I love the color of the cup and most important is the flavor of the coffee. Got the Americano, which is very simple by very strong. Priced well. Very friendly barista explaining all the drinks before I ordered. Can't wait to try the other drinks next time. Too strong of one drink to take another :) read more
