Tl;dr - only come here if you want espresso or if you don't care much about the taste of a latte. I'm only giving a 3 because the espresso was good. Meanwhile the house made cinnamon latte was a complete waste of $7.50. I got whole milk, no additions or changes. And it still just tasted like coffee-flavored milk (not even the better kind of milk) with a sprinkle of cinnamon. I return again this time to try their butterfly Pea flower iced latte and avocado toast. The avocado toast on multigrain bread provided a satisfying bite with a nice crunch. I loved the pomegranate seeds on top. The entire toast felt light and refreshing. The butterfly pea flower oatmilk latte didn't have much pea flower flavor. I tasted more oatmilk than pea flower. Very good and kind service. Coffee I got was regular and cheap - I was there more for a workspace rather than food, but I enjoyed the atmosphere too. Not as cozy as one could wish but good enough to get something on the go. Coffee was made with professionalism. I had to wait a little though. Serving is very beautiful though. They are open from early in the morning and located right next to the public parking lot making it extremely convenient to find! Today our group of seven stopped by for coffee, gelato and sweets. Everyone was happy with their order and it was wonderful to catch up with friends in such a beautiful setting that satisfied all of our various cravings. The gorgeous turquoise mugs certainly make the coffee more appealing than it actually is. While our drinks were good, they weren't great. The cappucinos, lattes, chai and matchas were prepared well, but the quality of the ingredients didn't quite hit the mark. The gelatos particularly were not good and next time I would suggest ordering their drinks over the gelatos. The French toast donut we ordered was fresh, fluffy and perhaps the best of all our orders. Five stars for service. On a very busy holiday Monday, only two staff members were managing a long line of customers near the end of what I could only assume to be a very long and busy day. Despite appearing overwhelmed, they remained patient, professional and attentive..... and didn't make a single mistake with our orders. I got an iced strawberry matcha which was really good! It was $8 and pretty small but the matcha taste was pretty rich and green. There was a lot of seating inside as well and people were working on their laptops. I parked in the public parking garage a block away which was free! Love love love, i simply love the atmosphere of the place! The lady who took my order, L, is such a sweetheart. I wish i didn't come in so last minute because I would've loved to chat with her some more! I got the oolong tea and a plain croissant which was good. The oolong tea is pretty strong in caffeine so be warned. This place takes cash and card! It's a close walk from the subway station so it's easy to stop by before going to the beach. My husband had the Spanish latte which was sw but not too sweet. The croissants were huge but we didn't try anything this visit as I was doing no sugar at the time. The last visit however we had the gluten free chocolate banana bread and it was so moist and delightful. The baristas were kind but I had to say I really felt sorry for the way some of the customers were treating these fine workers. They were so entitled and rude and the baristas handled it with style.
