I ordered the Belgian chocolate ice cream on a cone with Nutella, and it was super good--the Nutella was a brilliant touch that made it even better. The service was great from start to finish, and the store itself has a very nice, welcoming ambiance. I also have to give a shoutout to their restrooms, which were super clean and well-maintained! My only minor suggestion for the team would be to hand out a few more napkins when giving customers their cones. That delicious Nutella can get a little messy! We came by after having dinner nearby. This shop is located in a strip mall close to Ralph's Market. We each got a regular sized cup with 3 flavors. I had sweet cream, salted caramel, and another one which skips my mind. The staff is friendly and lets us sample flavors before making a selection. The size of scoops is dependent on who happens to be serving. My husband was upset because he had a tiny serving compared to mine. He said his cup looked more like a kid's serving. Ice cream is pretty expensive as it was almost $10 for a regular sized cup. But we did enjoy it. read more

My favorite was Giandujotto (5 stars) because it included the delicious combination of chocolate and hazelnuts. Stracciatella (4 stars) included tiny specks of chocolate in the creamy vanilla gelato. Fragola (4 stars) was a refreshing strawberry sorbet, which was a nice contrast to the richer chocolaty flavors I chose. The service (4 stars) was good. They were eager to help and offered samples. If you are new and not familiar with the selection like myself, you'll have to move around other people to get a better glimpse of the flavor names and description. Guest and I opted for the minimal amount of poison, with my selection being the one that allows you to at least halfway escape reality, that being the 60% cocao offering-and the smallest one at that. Dipping your waffle cone in pistachio butter and putting on the most decadent chocolate gelato ever in it is a game changer for sure. It's a little pricier for filling the ice cream cravings but it's worth every penny and calorie. They do offer free samples and are very kind/patient. This is some of the best gelato that I have had in the United States. Not only are the flavors incredible but I didn't feel super full or sick the night of or day after eating it. You can tell everything is made from high-quality ingredients and the flavors really last long after you finish eating them. It's located in a small strip mall in Marina del Rey by the water and there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don't really have tables on the inside, and it's fairly small so can't have more than a dozen or so people it in at a time. It's a get in line and get it to-go type of place but the line moves fast even though there are a lot of flavor options to choose from. For this visit, I chose one of their new specials, which was the Buttercream & Pretzel and combined that with Salted Caramel. I thought both were fantastic and I would definitely get both of them again. They have many different types of fruitier and more chocolatey options so next time I'm gonna try something completely different. I would highly recommend and will be back many times. read more

I will preface this review with I am an African-American woman in a predominately white affluent area. Today I patronized Bacio Di Latte as I often do as I enjoy their gelato. I went to a new location as I was in the area. Upon entrance, I observed the employee, Juwie looking at my party and I as if she were shocked or concerned. We approached awaiting her greeting, she said nothing. My husband said hello. She responded shortly, "hello". My husband proceeded to make his order. My brother asked to try a flavor and Juwie scraped the ruminants of ice cream off the platter, rather than scooping from the scoops directly in front. After my husband asked for his order, Juwie then mumbled if we had any allergies. Juwie proceeded to grab his order sloppily and appearing bothered. I continued to observe Juwie's demeanor to be uncomfortable as if we patronizing customers were out of place. I am completely upset by this experience as I love Bacio and have recommended it to multiple family friends and coworkers! I will be sending this information to corporate. read more

Oh my gosh. I returned recently and I tried the cherry cheesecake and caramel pretzel. The cherry was ADDICTING! Oh gosh, SO DELICIOUS. I LOVE. A tart cherry dessert. Matter of fact, the decor is so beautifully done I want them to design my house lol. The associates are dressed in kind of old school digs which adds to that ice cream parlour vibe. Notes: - The line goes incredibly slowly. Because you can't really see any of the ice cream selections until you get to the actual front due to the way the shop is laid out, so people dawdle around looking at the flavors and asking to taste some. This is a very slow process, and for those of us who are more conscientious it makes you want to rush your order choice as well. - The amount of ice cream is quite small. I got a "normal" which I believe is two scoops and I was finished with it by the time I got back to my car. - The price is quite high. $10-11 for an ice cream cone. So I wanted to try this so badly. I didn't know they had one in the Marina until I stumbled upon it after a client meeting. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, its in a cute shopping plaza on the Marina with so much to do, this just adds to the fun. I asked about all the Affogato options and Rory was so happy to explain witch ones got good reviews from the customers and which ones he liked the best. So my friend and I tried one of the Pistachio Affogato and one of the Cookies and Cream one. They were soo good! As i am not a big fan of pistachio, It was delicious! Bacio Di Latte is my favorite gelato in LA. I find my self always coming back! The ice cream is so creamy, milky, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was a treat. Even though the line was long, it moved super fast, and the workers were so friendly and welcoming. The space itself was really clean, and I loved that I could try all the flavors before deciding. Each chocolate flavor tasted completely unique, which was such a fun surprise. I usually get the stracciatella at their Larchmont location, but this time I went for the three chocolates--and wow, I think I've found a new favorite. The portions are pretty generous, too; I got the small cup and still felt full. I'm so glad they added this spot right next to Sugarfish.
