Stracciatella (chocolate chip), Giandujotto (chocolate and hazelnut), Fragola (strawberry sorbet)
    Rachel M.

I got the Regular cup because it included three flavors. The texture of the gelato had a smooth consistency. My favorite was Giandujotto (5 stars) because it included the delicious combination of chocolate and hazelnuts. Stracciatella (4 stars) included tiny specks of chocolate in the creamy vanilla gelato. Fragola (4 stars) was a refreshing strawberry sorbet, which was a nice contrast to the richer chocolaty flavors I chose. The service (4 stars) was good. They were eager to help and offered samples. If you are new and not familiar with the selection like myself, you'll have to move around other people to get a better glimpse of the flavor names and description. I liked this dessert spot after having dinner nearby.

first time visiting bacio di latte here in Marina del Rey. It was actually next to where I go to Pilates. There was actually a lot of stuff in this plaza that I have never seen before since we typically go to the Raleys next-door. The service was really good, they let us try several flavors It was surprisingly warm there outside and inside. But luckily they have the covers down so it would give the café some shade

I should have taken a picture right away because it was truly a work of art, they've mastered scooping gelato here. I am so glad I do not live close by because I am certain I would gain 20 pounds if I lived close by! This gelato is stellar! The texture is amazing, the pistachio flavor is next level, wow. It is worth the price, let me tell you. Excellent service here! Extremely friendly and easy to talk to. They make the batches of gelato in house every morning. I counted this as my brunch before I went for a delightful walk, so I was there close to opening and they were still prepping 2 flavors. Which is fine by me because you know that is real quality!! Can't thank them enough for starting my day out right yesterday! The inside is so cute, very tasteful decorations.

This is one of those places where I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I originally found them in Marina Del Rey. I was working very hard to avoid going to Starbucks after eating at Sugarfish. I saw an older lady that was exuding a high quality aura walking out of this place so naturally I was intrigued. Very clean and very welcoming inside. The service was very friendly. During my first time they offered to taste testers. First time I settled in pistachio affogato. I really regretted it. I needed a double serving! So for my 2nd time I made sure to order two scoops and two espresso shots. And my goodness just typing this is making me want to get some today.

While on vacation, We stopped Bacio di Latte and the shop was beautiful, modern, and very well lit. The ice cream was delicious, and the chocolate chip cookie was really good. I really enjoyed the flavors of gelato they had, and the customer service at this location was excellent. I'll definitely be looking for more of these around LA.

Good stuff here folks. Guest and I opted for the minimal amount of poison, with my selection being the one that allows you to at least halfway escape reality, that being the 60% cocao offering-and the smallest one at that. The crew here usually has smiles, and their temperament and personality is usually good to boot as well. It certainly was on this evening. Nice spot!

The Baseline: The Ice Cream/Gelato Baseline consists of having quality dairy product, variety of flavors/mix-ins, and serving quantity for the price. Handles goes over the baseline on all marks. Food: The gelato is creamy, smooth, sweet, and delicious. The add ins to the gelato are top quality and it comes through in the offerings. The gelatos at this location were very well presented and were delicious (Strawberry Cheesecake and the Dubai Chocolate were great). Service: Service was friendly and fast in preparing my order. I was offered free samples of the different gelatos. There was a difference in the servings we were served though. Ambiance: The shop has a very classy, upscale look, extremely clean. The ambiance has an Italian/southern France style. No real outdoor seating but the Waterside is a great shopping plaza to enjoy you gelato at.

Back here for their new flavors and got sold to their Buttercream Pretzel. As always, it's lovely to be able to sample before buying so I could literally get what I was really fond of in my cup. Thanks to the patient attendants for bearing with my indecisiveness! You just made my weekend ice cream date better.

Dipping your waffle cone in pistachio butter and putting on the most decadent chocolate gelato ever in it is a game changer for sure. It's a little pricier for filling the ice cream cravings but it's worth every penny and calorie. They do offer free samples and are very kind/patient. There are like five different chocolate variations and some range closer to milk chocolate and some to dark chocolate. Man I'm craving this as I write this interview. All flavors and textures were consistently superb. The hazelnut tasted like frozen but creamy Nutella I highly recommend. Parking is shared in the huge lot. The inside decorations are so adorable and aesthetic. They have a small seating area that's comfy too

Second time but 1st at this location! Always sweet, kind service and a very cute vibe. Walked in and smelled the waffle cones being made. I got vanilla because that's really the only flavor I like and that's anywhere lol I'm that simple.

Amazing selection of gelato, affogato, cookies and more!

Vegan chocolate gelato is also GF and is divine. "Why go to Italy when you can have this in LA?" is what my husband said and I wholeheartedly agree! Service was excellent (we were told the waffle cone is made in house but is not vegan. The sugar cone is vegan). We were also informed that we can get a kids size (which is half of their piccolo cup). Perfect for our kid! The pistachio butter they smear on the cone...which is then dipped in nuts (hazelnuts or pistachios)...ohhhmygodd. How incredibly flavorful can it get?!! They also have an Affogato which we want to check out next time. Love the ambience as well. They have a few other vegan flavors like the raspberry sorbet etc which also looked interesting. All in all, an AMAZING experience!

Such a cute gelato shop! I loved the fun and creative seating with giant milk jugs topped with cushions acting as stools--such a unique touch. The employees were all very nice and happy to share their recommendations, which made the experience even better. Yes, it's a little on the pricey side, but the quality of the gelato is absolutely worth it, especially on a hot day. Everything tasted so fresh and indulgent. Definitely a spot I'd come back to whenever I'm craving gelato!

After shopping at Barnes & Noble we started looking around the shopping area for some ice cream or gelato, and found Bacio di Latte. It is a small place, step inside and pick your treat, then pay and exit. There are no tables inside, but there are a few seats outside common to the shopping plaza. I had the Coffee & Caramel. While it had no strong flavor, it was nevertheless a cold and delicious gelato to end our shopping day.

If you ask for a little extra topping or to sample another flavor, she may roll her eyes or even refuse for no apparent reason. On my last visit, my friend politely asked if she could have a bit more chocolate crunch on top of her scoop, and she refused. We then asked another employee, who was happy to help without any issue. It felt completely unnecessary and left a negative impression. Hospitality and customer service are about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, that was not the experience we had with her. The rest of the team, however, has always been fantastic. I honestly don't understand why adding a little extra crunch to an ice cream would be such a big deal. Small gestures like that go a long way in making customers feel valued, and unfortunately, this interaction did the opposite.

Line is usually long at any Bacio di Latte, but we got lucky and line was not out the door at least not as of yet at the time. I think he was annoyed I was taking photos and holding up the line LOL. Even though I have been to other Bacio's, I still like to try the same flavors sometimes just in case they are somehow different in taste due to location. I tried a few free sample flavors. I ended up with half Liana's Shortcake and half Torta Paradise. Both were very good and delightful. Very smooth. Unfortunately, the gelato was on the softer side. It was already melting by the time I exited the shop. It was a warm day, but still, not while I'm still inside the shop. I don't like melty gelato. I prefer they are a bit firmer in texture. Hence, 3 stars! One small gripe, very limited seating inside. No restrooms available. It's just a grab n go gelato spot. Nevertheless, I will always be back to Bacio di Latte wherever they are. Thanks for amazing gelato! Just don't serve melty ones.

Here at Turn Dough; you can actually watch them make and bake the chimney cake. It was really hard to choose what dessert to get here as everything looked so yummy. This place happens to be the first place to offer chimney cake in Los Angeles and so you know I just had to try that. Even choosing which chimney cake to get was hard! They've got 18 different types or you can even create your own! From oreo to nutella to coconut to Disney inspired or unicorn inspired; they've got something for everyone! I ended up getting the very cute Minnie Macaron chimney cake which has Italian-style soft-serve gelato, French Macarons, Rainbow sprinkles, and a handmade Minnie Mouse bow on top. It was definitely a magical Disney inspired creation. We also got the Nutella Dream. This one is a must try for Nutella lovers. It's a chocolate delight that even includes Kinder chocolates! Tastewise; I really liked the freshly baked chimney cakes from here. The chimney cakes are so soft and fluffy. My gelato ice cream melted pretty quickly but I still enjoyed the sweet, creamy soft serve. One has the option to get the chimney cake upside down in a cup and I have to say that is not a bad option because it helps with eating the ice cream and you won't have to worry about the oozy, dripping mess hehe that you will get a with a cone.
