There's no visit to a mall without a stop at Bacio di Latte if they are present. Well, they are present at Westfield Century City Mall. Of course, we stopped by. Line is usually long at any Bacio di Latte, but we got lucky and line was not out the door at least not as of yet at the time. They had several staff members attending to the customers which is always a good thing. The young gentleman who helped us was okay... he wasn't the most smiliest. I think he was annoyed I was taking photos and holding up the line LOL. Even though I have been to other Bacio's, I still like to try the same flavors sometimes just in case they are somehow different in taste due to location. I tried a few free sample flavors. I ended up with half Liana's Shortcake and half Torta Paradise. Both were very good and delightful. Very smooth. Unfortunately, the gelato was on the softer side. It was already melting by the time I exited the shop. It was a warm day, but still, not while I'm still inside the shop. I don't like melty gelato. I prefer they are a bit firmer in texture. Hence, 3 stars! One small gripe, very limited seating inside. No restrooms available. It's just a grab n go gelato spot. Nevertheless, I will always be back to Bacio di Latte wherever they are. The gelato itself is rich, creamy, light, and flavorful. They have a variety of sizes and offer both cone and cup. The smallest is piccolo which you can get two flavors. My favorite go to flavors are strawberry and raspberry, it's perfectly refreshing, fruity, and delicious. Not too heavy which I appreciate! The store itself is clean, bright, and cute. The service has always been amazing every time I've been with friendly staff who offer samples and give insight. Located on the first floor! It is the creamiest, most flavorful and delicious gelato (and I have been fortunate enough to try several across Rome, Venice and Florence). Huge fan of the Giandujotto and Stracciatella mix but also their fruit flavors are really great too. Service is always super friendly, they let you try several of the flavors first if you don't know what to get. This location is bright but highlights the gelato flavors and organized so the queue moves pretty fast fast. There are a few tables and seats outside if you want to enjoy your gelato in or around the store. I'm also a fan of their waffle cones as well! The best gelato chain i've had hands down! I'm not a huge ice cream or sweets fan but gelato can be an exception when i want a sweet treat. It's a lot healthier than regular ice cream. This store smells heavenly right when you walk in, like a sugary waffle cone. Bacio has a ton of flavors to choose from, and sample. Their gelato is very creamy, smooth, and decadent. Their chocolate flavors are super rich. My favorites include the original Bacio de Latte sweet cream flavor. This tastes like a light, somewhat tart yogurt. Comparable to yogurt land's original. Just creamier. I also always get the Crema Torino, it tastes exactly like a ferrero rocher! If you like hazelnut, you will love this one. I recently tried the Cocco Rio, which is coconut. So good! The strawberry cheesecake is good as well but a bit too sweet in my opinion. My only somewhat complaint is that it melts fast since it's super creamy and smooth. You will need to eat it there. You can get it in a cup, cone, waffle cone, etc. There are also options to take pints home. Their pricing is a bit pricier than some dessert places but it's so worth it. They have several other locations and the shop is usually pretty small. Overall, i'd definitely recommend trying it if you haven't yet. read more
