Mom booked me and my fiancé a couples massage. It was really relaxing, got to pick our own essential oil aroma. We chose the sweet orange and it was really nice and not overpowering. The two specialists we saw were great and did a really good job getting all the areas we had issues with. I stand on my feet for 10+ hours a day and my fiancé sits at a desk all day, so it was really nice to be tended to after being in crooked positions at work. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely book in the future! I came on a Tuesday for the $25, 50 min full body massage, and I didn't have a choice on masseuse but he was very thorough but he didn't explain the process or make me feel welcomed since it was my first time. The lady was great and lovely, even though I made an appt to have it done with someone I knew, THEY LIED saying she was going to be there but she wasn't. Whatever I went with whoever was there. YET I was charged a 65$ facial that I DEFF did not NEED or asked for. The owner was extremely rude over the phone literally saying 'sweetheart. That's what you got that's what you gotta pay' like what kind of customer service!? Not even an apology for the confusion or LACK ON INFORMATION. she said 'we keep telling them to change those prices they're not right' OK?? How is that my fault. Lillian Hubbard the manger didn't want to do anything about it because of an appt I missed that she couldn't call to confirm because she put the wrong phone number in. I went there in person and she wasn't even woman enough to talk to me. I talked Steve and he gave me my money back. He didn't even hear my side of what happen. They told him I brought my own materials in for my facial which was a LIE. This place is not to be trust with your face. BEWARE!! I have been here twice now. Have had the pleasure of having Jessica as my therapist. Jessica I is absolutely fantastic!!! I have had two major surgeries on my left foot and still have a great deal of pain in my foot and leg. I initially went in for a massage, not knowing what to expect. After leaving my first visit I had a good six hours of pain free life. Jessica also suggested reflexology. All I can say is it was not short of fantastic. Had surgery on my neck almost a year ago but still had issues with flexibility and neck pain.. Doctor recommended a Deep Tissue Massage which I've never tried before, until yesterday at Essentials. Fred did a wonderful job, got rid of many knots, and I walked out of there with more range of motion than I've had in almost a year! I went in for a massage with Jorge and few days ago. I was touched inappropriately multiple times and walked out of the spa in tears. We called the police and reported the assault. When we called and spoke to the owner, Lilian, to receive our refund for the ASSULT, her response was "Its hard to believe that it even happened" and "Since you received the service a refund won't be made." I am BEYOND blown away with this establishment at this point. I hope that other women or men who are assaulted never have to feel the way that I feel now. If anything has ever happened to you like this, PLEASE do not feel like this is "normal" behavior and that it is ok to be touched like this. Call the police and have your voice heard!!!! read more

I have had great massage therapists and relaxing massages.....most of the time. I just wanted to warn others, a particular therapist, Ana W. I will never have her as my therapist again. The one time I went to her, I never had any issues with my left leg, until after that day I saw her. She stretched my legs so bad that I have had nothing but pain and problems with my left leg now. I was expecting a nice relaxing massage, like I normally get, but ended up in pain instead. I still go back once in awhile, but I make sure I don't get her. Have went there for years and all was well. Lately, the new therapists don't want to do massages. I was there last week and the therapist said if I wanted any type of pressure I would have to upgrade, and she scrubbed me so hard with a rough wash cloth that I had scratches on my back. I wasn't there to get exfoliated, I was there for a massage. I asked for back, neck and shoulders, she never touched my neck, didn't do my lower back, never had me turn over to do my shoulders. Went to Essentials for a facial, Microderabrasion... Well the woman doing the microdermabrasion starting picking on my face what she claimed was a whitehead.. WELL, she dug pretty deep, it was burning both cheeks were red, which she claimed would go away by next day. Well needless to say the next day it had a huge scabs beneath my eye, that one side of my face was scabbed, the other side was dry!! I contacted the owner, even went there personally. She looked at it and stated that "oh sorry she should have known better, give it a couple of days, it should go away!" Well I stood with a scab on my face (I work in an office where clients see me, how embarrassed was I, it looked horrid). I even had to go to a dermatologist and get cream, of which owner didn't even offer to take care of since it was her employees fault that I had this issue. Well no refacial, nothing just "ok get better" I will never return there, they do not know what they are doing or how to run a professional business! Buyer beware of their $29 facials, I do not recommend at all for any facials, especially microderm. Oh, P.S. I have a light spot where scab was, 3-4wks still not healed. read more
