SCAM!!! - The Worst Moving Experience I've Ever Had!!! This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had in my life. Established Moving & Storage completely destroyed my LG OLED TV -- a high-end television worth over $2,000 -- and left me stuck replacing it out of my own pocket. The screen is ruined and the TV is no longer operable. Their "solution"? Push me off to their insurance company who offered me $98. Ninety-eight dollars. For a $2,000+ TV they damaged!! And the way they handled it afterward was even worse. I called over and over trying to speak with a manager. Every single time I was told, "Someone will call you back." Not once did anyone follow up. Multiple messages. Multiple employees. Zero accountability. It became very clear they were just telling me that to get me off the phone. During the move, the workers were moving at a snail's pace, joking around and laughing while I was being billed hourly. I was charged for time that absolutely did not reflect professional, focused work. When you're paying by the hour, dragging things out matters. This company does not take responsibility when they damage your belongings. Once they have your money, you're on your own. If something valuable gets broken, don't expect meaningful help, don't expect urgency, and definitely don't expect them to make it right. Now I'm out a $2,000 LG OLED and shopping for a replacement because of their negligence. If you care about your belongings, avoid this company! read more

UPDATE: I have called Established Moving multiple times over the past month. They keep saying they will get back to me the next day about resolving the issue, which they never do! I called again today following up on what can be done to resolve this matter. I was told "a claims manager would be calling me in the next 5-10 minutes, which (shocker) THEY NEVER DID! I called back AGAIN and calmly explained my frustration and what can be done to replace the heavily damaged table. I was told that if I could take my Yelp review down, they would offer me $200 and they can "Zelle me the money once the review is removed". My table is worth about $1600, which wouldn't replace a single part of it. Established moving explained they could not offer me more money because "I had already written a bad review and the damage is already done" then they explained how they could not replace the table because "the table is still standing", even though my table is basically brand new and was in PERFECT condition. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DAMAGED AT ALL! The movers rolled my table on hard concrete!! The employee I spoke with at Established moving was rude and unprofessional. No wonder why there are so many poor reviews! I am not surprised at all! They are trying to pay people to take bad reviews down. Con artists and the edge of being a criminal enterprise. Do NOT USE . They quote you one price and then raise the price after your stuff is in their moving truck. They blackmail for more money then originally agreed upon you and hold your private property hostage or else they won't take the items off the truck. DO NOT USE ESTABLISHED MOVING. I do not make a habit of leaving negative reviews, however, I have reached out to Established Moving to come to a resolution, to not even get a reply. We agreed to the packing and removal service, we had a 2 bedroom condo (circa 1250 sq ft) was moving 4 miles away to a house. We had purchased 30 boxes ourselves. They were meant to arrive at 9am, called to say they had a 4th member available which would make it quicker so we agreed. They arrived at 11am, they didnt arrive at our new address until 10pm! We had them stack everything in the garage at the new house as it was so late, we took pictures but nothing was wrapped as agreed, they charged us for use of 25 further boxes (easily avoidable, most of our boxes were less than half full). When we opened some boxes they had left knives pointing upwards, they damaged multiple items of furniture from RH, TV's were left unwrapped, bed frames broken, expensive pieces of art not even wrapped and frames damaged. They charged us for 11.5 hours of work, extra boxes which were not used and have caused thousands of $ in damage. We took multiple pictures as proof and sent them across, nothing. This company spoke to me for months sent & sent me estimate and set schedule. On the morning of the move they were no shows, and said the driver got ill and had to go to hospital and they would call us back within the hour to find a replacement. To Javier and Geerson (sp?) who moved my furniture and instruments with care and attention and drive the long trip from South Florida to NC. Thank you! The only issue was getting the contract - I was concerned that I didn't have a contract or receipt for the money I paid upfront as a down payment. So glad I went with Eatablihsed. On June 20th i requested a service from this company, I got a quote for $327. for three hours of work and two men. When they arrived they made me sign a paper where it says that if you go over the 3 hours you have to pay an additional $268 for every hour passed the 3 hours. When we are in the last part of the move where they need to bring your furniture down, I received a call from Ryan where he says I have to pay $487 or else they will hold my furniture as ransom until I pay them what they want. I did not go over the 3 hours in fact it only took them two and a half hours and of driving time it was less than 15 minutes since the place was very close. These people are SCAMMERS and one way or another they get you. They take advantage that they have your furniture in their truck and they don't even give you a copy of your receipt or what you signed. Do not use them! My mother had recently died and I was shipping her artwork and some of her possessions to my two sisters who lived in Maryland and New York respectively. No furniture was involved except one coffee table. I explained that the art and glassware needed to be packed carefully. They were supposed to come on a Saturday by one in the afternoon. Since I did not live in the house I sat there waiting for them. After repeated calls and no responses they then told me they would be there at 4 then 5 then 6. It is a gated community and I pleaded with security to let them come in after hours. They then went to the wrong gate(non commercial gate) even though they had both written and oral instructions as to what gate to use. When they finally showed up at 6:30 it was dark. Plus the two men had a terrible attitude saying they did not feel like working and started arguing with someone on the phone-I guess their supervisor. Furthermore they were ill prepared to pack the paintings. They brought no bubble wrap, improper packing cartons and one of the two men did not know how to pack. I had my wife run to Home Depot for packing supplies while I did a lot of the packing. I also learned they had subcontracted the whole job to a company in Baltimore without telling me who seemed to be in charge. It was an awful experience and I could not wait to get them to finish and leave around 10. I got them pizzas, gave them a tv and tipped them nicely anything to try to motivate them to finish. They broke a lamp ruined a painting and caused other damage. I was told I would get a reduced rate-never happened. I was told I would receive papers to file a claim-never happened. If you want to have a moving nightmare this is the company for you. read more

If I could write a negative star review I would. I had a small moving job but took the time to hire "professionals" which I had no problem paying for. I had this company pick up an antique cabinet at a shop and deliver to my house then move 3 cabinets from my house to another location very near by. Not only did they quote me one price, but they epically failed to deliver the 3 cabinets from my house to the other location. They did not blanket wrap them upon leaving my apartment. They said they would do that at the truck! 2 arrived completely broken and not useable. Shattered broken according to the person who was supposed to receive them! The other cabinet was also very damaged and no longer useable BUT all 3 left my house in one piece which I have photos of! I even disclosed a tiny crack in one of the legs to the movers so they would be extra carful. I also have photos of that! Not only did they NOT disclose that they totally broke upon arrival, but they lied to the receiver of the cabinets saying...I said I knew they wouldn't make the move! NEVER EVER did I say that! Then WHY would I have paid good money to move them??? Then they accused me of moving ikea furniture! Then they said the cabinets were to heavy (ikea isn't heavy) then they charged me even more money without disclosing the damage and refused to share the photos the movers took and sent to the owner of this terrible moving company! All I heard from the owner is that it was ikea furniture. But he also admitted that even if it was ikea they should still have been handled with care. Personally I don't care where the furniture is from!!! IF I'm paying professional movers to move something it's because I assume they have the skills to move it! If you're not capable of doing the move then don't take it on. It's simple. Then I was actually willing to negotiate a more than fair price for their time even though they destroyed the 3 of my cabinets. The owner (Jason) promised me a credit would be issued the following morning along with a text from him showing proof of it BUT only after TRYING to get me to pay even more money and then he would just issue a full credit on the total charge! How much sense does that make? So he wanted to charge me the new negotiated price of 200 on top of the 448.00 they already charged me and then would credit me 448.00!! WTF After several calls to this company the owner Jason still has yet to return my call or do what he promised snd everyone else in the office just makes up excuses of why he's "not in the office" In addition to the vintage cabinet being delivered, it came with 2 glass shelves that were wrapped separately by the shop owner and wrapped well. He also included a small vintage mirrored tray to be delivered along with the cabinet. When I bought the tray it was in perfect condition. The owner even repaired the mirror at no cost for me to ensure it was in perfect condition for a party I was having but somehow now the metal handle is cracked! Shocking! Never EVER use this company. Pictures are the cabinets when they left my house. Again, moving company or mover refuses to provide images of how they looked upon delivery and they even took them back with them. It was a difficult and emotional move for her and they were all so kind and understanding They remembered every piece and which room it came from in the house so when they brought the items in the condo they already had an idea of where it belonged. When my mom was unsure about where to place things, they gave her different options and were extremely patient. They made a very difficult day smooth and less stressful. This is my 4th move in Ft. Lauderdale and Established moving was the WORST experience I've had by a landslide. I highly recommend going elsewhere if you want to save yourself stress, money and the quality of your belongings. Let me start by saying I called several times before my move to confirm the move time. They gave me a window of 8-9am for arrival. I explained that I only had the elevator booked at my new apartment until a certain time because of the way the complex booked out the elevators. Because of that, I asked for them to arrive on the earlier side so we could get everything into my new apartment with no concerns. Although they confirmed it was put in the file for the drivers, they did not arrive until almost 10am. Because they were so late and moving quickly to try and make up time, several pieces of my furniture got damaged because of their carelessness. In addition, although I had everything boxed and ready to go, they charged close to $100 for "moving supplies". Let me clarify that this was only for saran wrap for the pads they used to wrap my furniture and one king mattress protector. This is typically included in the hourly rate. Between the lateness, hidden charges and damaged items you would think they would have done something to keep me feeling like a valued customer. Instead they hit me with a hefty bill and would not load my belongings off the truck until I paid in full. I was so upset and asked to speak to the owner. They assured me he was in a meeting and would call me back that day. I have yet to receive a call. Unprofessional and extremely disappointing for what's advertised as a "family owned and operated business". I would think twice before using them!! read more

When I do get an answer they have lied about where Mitch is. He shouldn't matter anyways! I should be dealing with the claims department. Then I spoke to the nephew of the owner twice and he hung up on me the second time. He of course said his uncle will call, never did, then he said he's not in the office yet.
