Carne Asada Fries were delicious. Only noticed there was more meat to fries ratio but not a big deal because when mixed immediately with all the ingredients, the overall meal had a lot flavor. Despite the big amount of meat, sour cream, guac and cheese, the fries still had a nice crunch. You tell his needs to be eaten immediately. Wouldn't mind getting it again. Service was great and prompt as more items were to-go. Ambiance was nice for a Sunday afternoon as it was peaceful yet busy. Will always come here

We first ordered at the front cashier and then waited near the meat counter until our order was ready. If not nearby they do announce the customers name over a speaker especially if one grabbed a table on the other side of the produce area. They served up tacos, burritos, plates and other Mexican specialties and prices were reasonable for what you get. We got two plates which came with rice, guacamole/sour cream/salsa and refried beans along with choice of corn or flour tortillas. Carnitas was lean and tasty. Al pastor plate seemed to have a slightly different seasoning than the other Mexican restaurants closer to us. It was still a good and filling. One thing to note was that the parking lot was shared with the American Legion next door so if they hold an event then the lot gets packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait too long for one spot to open u

Today we stopped for a dinner at the Camarillo downtown. First we thought of pizza, but i am glad we end up picking this Mexican place. The portions are huge and it is very delicious. So much cheese and meat in quesadilla. Service is quick, our food was ready in 5 minutes. While you wait you can shop for groceries there in a little market. The atmosphere is very authentic. Overall good experience.

Best Asada fries by far and I'm pretty picky with my horchata but the Horchata here is really good! The portions are always great and consistent. The service is good and nice setting! For a meat market.... Definitely recommend

I wasn't updating reviews when they are just as yummy but maybe I should for atleast the menu for updated prices and options. I read about the shrimp cerviche and I think it was good and refreshing but I am going to stick to the meat burritos. I had a bite of the chile verde as it was so yummy but it's not one you should take home it may get too soft and fall apart. We bought extras to have for lunch tomorrow!! This place is the best value and tasting Mexican food. Hands down we come here once a week or twice jf we lived closer.

Best burritos in Camarillo by far. Everything is freshly cooked as ordered.

This Market is a gem to the Camarillo community. I was greeted as I entered, roaming around the store after I placed my Carnitas burrito. I found they had it all from Asian ingredients and snacks to Mexican brands also. The environment is clean and organized easy to find wut you need. Highly recommended!

Amazing mexican restaurant in Camarillo! Love the tasty, big portion and amazing food! Quick and easy service with a great ambiance. Not many places serve Tripas and this place does!! Love it! Definitely recommended and will come back for more!

Three bean rice taco with lengua, al pastor, and cabeza
    Sokanha C.

We ordered the lengua, Al pastor, and cabeza taco plate. $11.49 for three tacos doesn't scream a deal these days, but I guess everywhere is expensive now. But as usual, this place slaps. The cabeza was delicious! My friend ordered the chicharron salsa verde taco and camaron Chico mariscos taco. He loved them both. They unfortunately don't offer free cups of water and only paid bottle water though. Great spot off the freeway and worth the stop for great Mexican food.

    Bacon Breakfast burrito Oct 2023

Had their bacon breakfast burrito. It was enough for me to split with my little one. It came with potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon (a bit chewy. I prefer crispy bacon), onions and cilantro. Overall not bad . I asked for the sauce on the side. They also gave me some lemons, grilled chile and radish on the side too. It's a little market with a dining area so you can plan to sit and eat there too.

Do they serve margaritas and beer?

They sell alcohol , assorted beers and I think some can mix drinks and seltzer.

The vegetables arrive so fresh that even the most resolute vegan might momentarily forgive the unapologetic abundance of beef, lamb, and chicken beneath them. The sauces are lush, indulgent, and impossibly smooth--crafted with a decadence that feels almost improper to describe. The fries? Crisped to perfection on the outside--twice over, it seems--while the interior dissolves into something closer to silk than potato. And then there is the staff: disarmingly kind, effortlessly charismatic, and possessed of a presence that elevates the entire experience. The towering proprietor, all 6'8" of him, greets guests with a smile that borders on euphoric--especially when he places into your hand a perfectly chilled stein of Enegren Valkyrie. The beer selection is not merely good; it is curated with intent and reverence. Each pour feels like a quiet passage to the old country--a place you may not want to leave once you arrive. In short, their meats linger in the mind long after the meal ends. We are fortunate, indeed, that two gentlemen from Deutschland chose to share their craft here. PROST!

We probably wouldn't have dropped by it if someone hadn't told us about it. The staff was kind, friendly, and gave suggestions when we asked questions about the various meat options. The cash register is right straight in as you walk in. There are communal benches outside and a few high top tables inside, but the restaurant seemed to get a lot of pick up orders. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch, which I was weary about since it's BBQ - but everything ended up still being hot and juicy. We ended up going with the 3-meat plate for about $30 total. It was enough for 2 people (or 1 really hungry person!). We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!
