I entered this store for the first time ever today on Christmas eve. I know this time of the year…read moreis stressful to a lot of people including the staff. I ordered shoes online for next day pick up. I entered the store and a female manager and two sales floor employees were talking. The manager spoke first asking how can she help. I explained that I ordered online and received an email saying my order was ready for pick up. I feel like her asking me to see the email should have been the next thing but NO. I received a lot of base with her responses and frustration because I didn't understand her questions she kept asking me. She asked me 3times " No, I need to know if you ordered it online from here or if you ordered it online to come here". I was confused because "Yes, I ordered them online and they are here now. I don't know how they got here but I have the email saying they are here now". I also repeated three times. She finally asks to look at my email which could have saved so much time and energy from the start. While she is looking at my email she turned to the other worker and says "Y'all need to make sure to check these the email if they say they have an email because someone took another order like that". Saying that is not wrong but when you just took 10minutes going back and fourth with me about how I ordered something I now felt like you were insinuating that I was trying to steal. She ask someone if they knew how to close out online orders they guy did not so she showed him and my order was being processed out. I started looking around because I wanted to get another pair of shoes. The manager who I didn't get her name was very rude to the employees. She was bossing them around and talking to them like they were children in front of the customers. I would never work for someone like that. The sales floor people were lovely despite the manager and her rudeness. I was looking at the shirt table while I waited for my shoes and never once did I unfold anything I was just lifting the product up while still on the table to see the design and she say if you need a shirt ask one of the workers to get it for you. If I can't even touch the shirts how can I tell someone to get something for me? Does that make sense? I really wish I got her name but I was seconds away from not buying my shoes and two shirts because of her.

So happy to see this place popping again! For years it was so dead over here. I think the Burger…read moreKing was the only thing that was left. I always felt it was such wasted space. Well no more! There's a Sprouts grocery store that's been open awhile now. There's now a TJ Maxx, Allure Nails, Moby Dicks, MyEyeDr, upcoming Chipotle, PNC Back, and a brand spanking new Isaacs (opened a few days ago). There's still space left for more businesses. I think a boba shop or a wine bar would be great additions. There's a big parking lot!

New stores have opened this year and others are coming soon. The center's sidewalks are lined with planters full of brightly colored flowers making it quite attractive. There is a small patio area between two of the stores with artificial grass providing some greenery. Replacing the a grocery store that relocated years ago is Sprouts, which features many organic and plant based foods. It has departments with produce, bakery items, a deli, meat and seafood, prepared meals to go, frozen foods, and pantry items. It also carries frozen crab cakes and a frozen pizza brand that were both rated "the best" in separate reviews. The crab cakes are Sprouts' own brand and the pizza is one I haven't found anywhere else. Much to my surprise a review of grocery stores rated Sprouts as number one. Also open in the shopping center are a new TJ Maxx, Ulta, and Moby Dick Kabobs. Planned businesses include a Domain Fitness, an Eggspectation restaurant. and a bank, among others. Burtonsville Crossing is located right off Columbia Pike and there is plenty of parking. I'm happy to see the area thriving again.
